Majin Bluu was no stranger to being reprimanded by her sensei. She had a bad tendency to start mouthing off when she disagreed with how something was done. This obviously put her in hot water more often than not, which lead her to the frozen north. After embarrassing another teacher by knocking him out with a single blow, the young woman was given an insurmountable task to complete as recompense. She was to acquire the head of a fire drake from the north, and bring it's skull back to the dojo. Many though this to be a joke, thinking dragons to only be rumors, but the majin knew better. Such creatures did exist, she just had little to no experience with them. The best idea was to talk with some locals and gauge their thoughts.
Having walked a massive distance on her own, Bluu would eventually come across a large icy field that seemed to separate two villages. Both seemed to have architecture that was a few hundred years old, quite outdated by modern standards, but functional. There was something odd however, as she could also feel a large amount of power levels walking towards one another from a distance. It seemed the two opposing groups of people were gathering from each respective town to meet in the middle of the field. The town to the left had roughly fifty man in dark green snow coats, while the town to the right had ever so slightly more men but wore brown coats. Each respective side also seemed to have a man riding on top of a horse.
The two groups would abruptly stop as they saw each other, but the mounted men would meet in the middle. Deciding to get a closer look, Bluu would approach wiide-eyed. The apparent older of the two looked to be about 50 years old, and spoke to the other man "The time has come Danny. To take what's rightfully mine! Tell your men to pack their bags, and no one gets hurt." The opposing younger man would shake his head angrily "Talk all you want brother. This land was given to me by our parents! I'm not letting it go... I suggest you walk away before things get messy!"
Internal politics usually bored the young majin but it would strangely pique her interest. The older man would suddenly notice the blue woman in their midst, questioning "Ma'am, this is a warzone, can I help you?" Bluu would try to speak, but be cut off by the younger brother "Warzone!? You want a damn warzone, we'll give you one! I suggest you prepare your men Vlad!" With that, the younger of the two would march back to his respective group. The older man would shake his head "The damn fool... The battlefield is no place for a lady, I suggest you get out of sight before combat begins."
Bluu would walk off to a hill where she could see the battle beginning to unfold. Through all the smack talk, there was one very odd thing she had noticed. None of the men were wielding weapons earlier. Did they plan on fighting bear handed? At that moment, from across the field would fly a sphere of snow. The object would strike a man wearing green, and cause all hell to break loose.
Before her was a full-on snowball fight, brother verses brother combat. Lines of men would lob snow at the other side. As soon as one found themselves standing up, another would be flung their way to push them back down. Some of the soldiers had gotten cleaver and began digging trenches in the snow as the battle raged on. All the while, Bluu simply sat atop a small hill watching the ridiculousness unfold.

[Thread PL: 303] [Suppressed PL: 5]
Equipping the Pink Bunny Suit (Weighted Training Gi) dodge Techniques lose 10% of their calculated damage reduction] Equipping the Super Fluffy Tail(Baby Step Weights) ] [Equipping Auto-Adjustable Training Weights] “Of all the things that Aya suggested for me to help master my fire powers, it had to be training in the cold. Damn it all! I’m freezing my ass off here!” Tomina was getting better at manipulating her fire abilities. But she could only do it in short spurts right now. In order to get more prolonged control over it, she was going to be in a position where she’d be less hesitant to use it. Her teacher’s solution: send her to a place where she would be constantly tempted to use them. And where would that be? Why, a place that was cold as all hell of course. This was the one time that Tomina had acceptingly put on the pink bunny suit training outfit. The person who had given it to her had a low-key sadistic streak to her. Tomina didn’t expect that many people to be in the north though, and it was a full bodysuit. So it helped a little against the cold. It didn’t entirely block out the cold, but she wasn’t going to freeze to death. Probably. And at least the red adjustable training weights on her wrists looked really cool. Tomina felt a gathering of ki signatures. Which probably meant there was a settlement nearby. As she flew closer, she realized there were two towns there, separated by a field. The weird thing was, most of them weren’t in the town right now, but on the field in between. Tomina floated above the field, looking down with a stupified look on her face. “What the hell? Is this some kind of snowball tournament or something? They’re taking this really seriously.” Tomina decided to go off somewhere to watch. She flew off towards a nearby small hill, aiming to get the best vantage point she could. As she moved closer, she felt a strong signature there. For a moment she thought about turning back. It wasn’t anything that was intimidating, but she’d rather not interact with anyone while wearing the bunny suit. Her curiosity got the better of her though, and she went to a point on the hill away from the other Ki signature. Although the other person would be able to find them easily if they wanted to though. It was rather hard to miss a girl with red eyes and wearing what was essentially a glorified Easter costume. Tomina shivered, hugging herself as she watched the insanity play out below her.

Bluu's eyes would widen as she noticed a peculiar figure from some distance away. It was a woman wearing some sort of bright outfit, a bunny costume at that. This day just continued getting weirded. Shouting could be heard from the battlefield, as many of the trenches had now been fully dug out. The man would pop out of the ground like gofers to quickly toss snowballs and then retreat downward. Crossing the field would be dangerous for anyone not wanting to get hit, but Bluu was curious about the woman who had just arrived. Deciding to do something bold, she would stand up and prepare to dart across the feild.
Meanwhile, the younger brother would pop up from the ground with a bullhorn. "Give up Vlad, you and your men can't hold the line all night! We've got reinforcements on the way!" The older man would angrily stand as well "We've got a few tricks of our own Danny! That land is mine! I suggest you surrender it before more of your men fall!" The pair of bitter brothers would crouch back down to their respective trenches, and snowball lobbing would continue.
From a distance, galloping hooves could be heard behind the line of men wearing brown, followed by cheers. "Haha! The Calvary has arrived!" Men on horseback would dart across the field, snowballs in hand. When they reached the trenches of green-coated men, the horsemen would pelt the enemy at close range! "Damn it all!" Vlad would scoff to himself. The older brother would be force to retaliate, pulling out a walkie-talkie and speaking "Papa bear to ice bird 1! Requesting airstrike, coordinates 12,17,09" A voice would respond, "Rodger that, ice bird on route."
The sound of a world war one era plane would then be heard overhead, as a massive load of snow would be dropped on top of the brown-coat's trenches. The battlefield would grow larger as now multiple horse riders littered the field and a bomber circled the area overhead. In all the chaos, Bluu would take the opportunity to run across the field and towards Tomina's hill.
Breathing heavily as she reached the top, the majin hoped the woman had an answer to the madness. "What's going on down there? It looks like some kind of family-feud turned war!"

Tomina had never seen any history programs about old battles done centuries ago. Even if she had though, it wouldn’t have made things any less severe. Tomina watched in disbelief as horsemen galloped onto the field and pelted snowballs. Then there was the old airplane dropping snow. That was the most absurd thing yet. It was one thing to not know how to fly with ki. It was quite another to try to get around that by using outdated flying equipment that would be laughed out of capsule corp.
Tomina turned and looked at the blue-skinned woman as she arrived. She didn’t recognize her species at all. Was she some kind of Alien? Maybe that’s why she hadn’t commented on her bunny outfit yet: maybe it was just normal for her. She shook her head, then turned back to look at the spectacle going on again.
“I’ve got no fucking idea what’s going on. I’d have half a mind to interfere, but I have no idea who’s in the right or wrong. Plus they aren’t actually using lethal weapons. If they start trying to kill each other I might jump in and end it. Otherwise, it’s just yet another weird thing to happen in my life. Which has been the norm lately.”

"Huh?" Bluu hadn't realized it, but the bunny lady was right. She turned her head back to the battlefield, see a man get hit in the face by a snowball, fall to the ground, but then get back up. It seemed like the snowball fight was non-lethal after all. It had been silly of her to think otherwise, but the participants seemed to be taking the event very seriously. Men scrambled for cover as snowballs were tossed their way as if bullets were being dodged. An onlooker would have to ask themselves, what was the goal in all this? "I guess it's good that no one is getting hurt but... I don't thank any conflicts are getting resolved either." the majin would watch as the green-coat leader crawled out of the trenches and began shouting "Retreat! Fall back! We'll live to fight another day!"
His brother, along with many other brown-coats would begin cheering in victory "Haha! Run while you can brother, our parents signed this land over to me! Someday I'll make this village whole again, and under my management!" The victory was short lived however as the soldiers began helping each other up. Some men who wore red crosses would dart towards men with cups of hot chocolate to raise their temperatures. Before long, any remaining green-coats had retreated home, and the brown-coats were left victorious. Instead of pressing forward with the assault however, they would begin to walk back to their respective village.
Quite curious about the previous display, Bluu would say "I don't know why you're here bunny lady, but I'm Majin Bluu. Most just call me Bluu. I can here for an expedition I guess you could say, but got caught up in whatever that was... You wouldn't happen to be a local would you?"

Tomina shrugged. "Hey, it isn't any of my business if no one is getting seriously hurt. The situation could get even worse if an outside party tried to intervene without understanding what's going on. Although if planes were dropping missiles, I would have stopped them."
Tomina said simply. She watched as the fight was called off. The way they gave out hot chocolate kind of reminded Tomina of a football game she once saw. Where coaches were constantly hydrating the players. Tomina turned and got a good look at the person she was talking to. The Blue skinned girl was showing a surprising amount of skin for someone up here in the cold.
Despite being a pale blue and having weird hair that was hard to distinguish from the rest of her, she was very attractive. She had a very striking, athletic figure to her. She could clearly see the toned muscles everywhere. And she wasn't shy about showing off her breasts either. It was safe to assume she didn't feel anything in the cold. Tomina shook her head letting out a sigh.
"No, I ain't from around here. I'm only up here because my Sensei thinks it would be a good idea for my training. I have abilities that I'm having trouble mastering. So I need some very specific training to master it. I wouldn't be up in this godforsaken wasteland otherwise."
Tomina shivered again, wrapping her arms around herself again. Thank god the outfit covered up most of her body. But her face was getting a little red from all the cold. She tried to give Bluu a smile.
"Bluu is it? I'm Tomina. It looks like I'm not the only one training. Those clothes of yours are the type of thing most people would wear as training gear. You're a fighter too, aren't you?"

This woman mentioned having a master, and on that note Bluu could surmise as to why she was here. It seemed that they had both been given difficult tasks to complete, though she had yet to make any progress with her own. The counter assessment of her being a fighter was a good one, even though few others would wear such little clothing in these weather conditions. The girl would nod her head in agreement "That's right, martial artist born and bread. Nice to meet ya Tomina. It looks like we both came out north on a mission then. If you're not a local though I'm not sure if you'll be able to help me."
She would take a moment to look around at the various mountain ranges, trying to see if anything looked like a dragon's den. No dice. "I'm actually here as punishment, I guess you could say... I have a tendency to talk a bit too much. Long story short, I upset the wrong sensei, and now I need to bring back the skull of a 'Fire Drake' as he put it." The majin looked confused at her own words, unsure of what dragon she was actually hunting down. That's why she needed to find some locals who could point her in the right direction. One of the two villages surly had someone who could help her, but maybe her new friend had some insight as well. "You wouldn't happen to know anything about those would you?" she doubted the woman would respond, but made the remark offhandedly.
With the field now cleared of combatants, it would give her a chance to detect the life force of each town... The home of the green-coats was much larger, with a few hundred living there. The home of the brown-coated men looked to be smaller, with only a couple hundred there. Venturing to either town would be interesting, but she didn't know how to pick between the two.
"I wonder if anyone around here knows a thing or two about dragons... But which town to go to?" The majin would tap her foot and tilt her head in contemplation. "You wouldn't happen to be stopping by one of the towns yourself, would you?"

Tomina rubbed her arms with her hands, trying to move to keep warm. She envied the other girl right now. She was having no trouble despite wearing something that was more appropriate for a workout. “I figured you were one. You’re too strong not to know some kind of training. And just because I don’t know my way around here doesn’t mean I won’t be able to help you.”
Tomina shook her head at Bluu’s question, hopping up and down a couple of times to keep her blood circulating. It helped alleviate the cold a little bit. She was not used to temperatures this freezing.
“Isn’t that something like a dragon? If it can actually breathe fire then I know a way I could help you. Fire’s kind of my specialty. Although I wasn’t planning on going into one of the towns. I’m supposed to be trying to get control of my fire powers to keep warm up here.”
Tomina tilted her head, giving the other girl a curious gaze. “It doesn’t seem like much of a punishment for you. You don’t seem to feel cold like most people. Although what the hell did you do to piss off your teacher so much? I nearly burned my sister in practice when I lost control and I didn’t get so much as a scolding. What kind of teacher sends their student off to find a mythical creature in the arctic as a form of punishment?”

What a peculiar ability, the woman claimed to be some sort of pyromancer or pyrokinetic. Either way, someone who could manipulate flames would be great in a fight against a dragon. She was almost tempted to ask after such an ability, and if she could learn it, but knew better than that. If that ability was something psionic or magical, a brawler like herself would have little hope of learning or understanding such arts. The sad part was, the woman didn't know much about dragons or where to find them. The locals however may have a different story, if they were willing to cooperate. All things considered, she needed to decide on her next move.
Then would come the woman's question about the master's methods, using her own anecdote as a rebuttal to their behavior. Bluu would first explain "Well, I accidently knocked my sensei unconscious while we were practicing a technique. He insisted I did it wrong, and that wasn't suppose to happen. Long story short, we went back and forth a bit, he got mad and batta-boom. I find myself on a mythical journey." The girl would think to herself for a moment and consider Tomina's words. While the original Mr. Satan my have been infallible, her current teachers had their fair share of flaws. If she had it her way, she would be teaching the classes.
"You make a good point. I wish I had better masters, but my dojo's founder is what keeps me there. Someday things might get better, but for now, I do whatever it takes." The young majin would then bring her attention back to the two towns, questioning the bunny lady "I know you said you hadn't planned on it, but... Want to visit one of the towns?"

Tomina looked at the Majin skeptically. Should she say it? Talking about this subject with another martial artist was going to sound condescending at best. But this girl clearly had a lot of talent. In the end, she couldn't stay quiet about it.
"Even if you didn't do it the way he intended, the fact that you knocked your teacher out means that he isn't qualified to teach you in the first place."
Although the way she explained it, Bluu didn't feel like she could just walk away either. Tomina did understand wanting to live up to someone's expectations. She didn't want to let her teacher down. And she owed it to her former best friend Tsuki to mastering her fire abilities. Tsuki was the one that taught her the basics of ki control after all. She was brought out of her stupor when Bluu asked if she wanted to go to one of the towns.
"Sure. It beats being out here and freezing to death."
Tomina would follow the Majin towards one of the towns. Once again, she found herself trying to find the right words to say to the Majin. Giving life advice wasn't exactly something she considered herself to be good at. But she didn't like the idea of this Majin wasting away. Tomina almost let that happen to her, but there were other people around her who believed in her. They continued to pull her away from her self pity and towards better heights. Maybe she could help someone else find their way.
"If that dojo means so much to you, then why don't you take what you've learned so far and reinvent the fighting style to match your particular strengths? If you find a proper Sensei who can teach you properly, you can improve yourself and the style of this founder you admire. It's certainly more productive than trying to find a dragon. Maybe you should only return when you're ready to take it over."

When Tomina agreed to follow her, the closest of the two towns and victor of the battle was to their left. The town was a bit smaller, but probably had what she was looking for. As they walked, she got the feeling the bunny lady was trying to give her advice. She spoke of leaving the dojo for a time, but later returning to take it over. If only that was how the world of business worked, Bluu knew better. Shaking her head in a dismissive way, the majin would simply explain "Even if I do grow stronger than my masters, that's not how things work. If it were up to my sensei, I would be long gone. No, my dojo is owned by a wealthy business man with ties to the founder's original family. In order for me to take full control of the dojo, I would need to purchase it..."
That was a daunting task, as the rights to Satan Castle were likely very expensive. "You see, my dojo is that of Satan Castle. It was founded by the legendary Hercule Satan himself. I'm not sure who the true owner is, but to buy the greatest fighting academy in history... I'm sure he's very wealthy." She was apprehensive about even attempting to expand upon what expense it would cost. "And besides, the original techniques of Mr. Satan himself were flawless! It's these damn teachers who don't know what their doing..." small puffs of steam would come from pores in her head as she said this. As she noticed this, the majin would blush and sheepishly say "...Sorry"
As the two got closer to the village, a clear sign could be read "Artic Valley". The area seemed to have buildings similar to that of westerns, but with the land covered in a blanket of snow. many townsfolk would eye the pair curiously as they approached closer, but not in suspicion. Right outside the town would be a large watchtower made of wood, with one man standing guard. Snowball in hand, he would ask in a commanding voice "State your names and business! Atric Valley is in a state of war at the moment, and we can't be too careful..."
Bluu would swallow hard before explaining "My name is Majin Bluu. I'm here to get some information on local legends and thought you guys might be able to help!"

Tomina frowned, blurting out the obvious thing that popped into her head. "That isn't a dojo anymore. Maybe it started out that way, but someone is using the founder's name to make a profit." Then Bluu mentioned the original founder. Tomina was rather ignorant in a lot of things. But even she could make the connection here. She looked at the Majin in surprise.
"Satan as in Satan city? Is that why it's called that? I mean that makes more sense than what I originally had in mind. Damn, sounds like he was a big shot."
Tomina stared as steam shot out of the Majin's holes. Well, that was strange. Did that mean that her body was like a balloon? Well no, then she wouldn't be able to walk normally. Those holes were all over her body too. Did she not bleed? Or was there some kind of secondary layer that prevented blood from coming out? Maybe that was it since blushing couldn't happen without blood. At least she was fairly certain of that. Now her head was starting to hurt. Tomina waved a hand dismissively.
"Don't apologize for feeling mad over your techniques being disrespected. Just don't let it get control of you. That's happened to me a few times. It's why I'm putting the training I am into things. Believe me, I would not have traveled to somewhere this cold if I wasn't serious about mastering my powers."
Tomina put her hands on her hips, shivering as the villagers demanded their business. She decided to get straight to the point.
"Look, if we were going to hurt you, don't you think we would have worn more appropriate attire? If I was going to war, I wouldn't be doing it in a damned bunny suit. Can you tell us what you know about Fire drakes? Preferably inside somewhere."

In truth, Bluu knew this woman was right. The dojo was a simple shell of what it use to be, if Mr. Satan was still around he would probably be pretty disappointed. Even still, she had a sworn duty to remain with the organization. All she could hope to do was change how things worked, rather than leave altogether. "Even if they are abusing his legacy. It was his dojo, and that's simply something I can't walk away from."
The watchman would seem taken aback by the directness of the woman in the bunny suit. He would grumble to himself for a moment, realizing that she had a point. Neither of them were dressed for combat, and neither seemed to be carrying any snow on them. When asked about fire drakes he would respond "As long as you two behave yourself then, your welcome in town. I don't know much about dragons, but some old timers at the saloon might have a couple ideas." The man would point to a larger building in the center of the small town. The man did however feel the urge to warn them one last time, "Don't linger in town too long now. This was is getting more dangerous by the day. The last thing we'd want is outsiders getting caught in the crossfire... And I'd imagine that bunny outfit draws attention"
Bluu would give a simple nod as their goal was now clear. Looking towards Tomina with a grin "Looks like we're in." The young majin would walk directly into town as whispering locals all spoke amongst themselves. The saloon was an easy enough building to spot, standing in the middle of town with a pair of swinging doors. She would walk into a busy bar with folks gambling, drinking, and interacting with each other. A large amount of patrons were brown-coat soldiers from the battle, they all seemed especially chipper.
The only question was, where to start? Sure there were a few older looking gents, but that didn't grantee they had knowledge. Expectedly, the girl would acquire some stares, as she was both a majin and wearing very little clothing by comparison. Deciding to speak to the man in charge, she would make her way to a bar stool and beckon for Tomina to follow if willing.

Tomina frowned. She wasn't going to be able to convince her to get her away from the dojo. It was rather admirable though. Bluu showed a level of loyalty few people could ever dream of having. In that case, maybe she could do the next best thing.
"Bluu, when all this is over, I wanna stay in contact with you. What do you say to semi-regular sparring sessions? You need a partner you can't knock out in one hit."
Tomina let out a snort at the man's comments. Of course he was going to point out the bunny suit. That was why she wanted to avoid civilization as much as possible. But it couldn't be helped.
"I'm surprised that it went this easily. I was fully expecting to be pelted by snowballs."
Both of them made their way to saloon. Now Tomina felt like she had walked into the wild west. The time period for these towns was all over the place. It was like some sort of resort showcasing historical periods in human history. Tomina followed Bluu, casually following the Majin through the Saloon. She didn't pay the stares she was getting any mind.

Bluu was happy to hear Tomina wanted to stay in touch, based on what she could sense, it would take a lot more than one hit to defeat her. The majin would smile a bit, losing the somber attitude. "Thanks, I could use the help."
Now that the pair had made their way to the saloon, the young majin would flag down the bartender. It was an older bald man on the heavier side, but looked like he had a great deal of wisdom. Getting straight to the point, she would speak plainly "Excuse me sir. I've come to the north looking for a powerful beast. A fire drake to be exact. Would you happen to know anything about those?" The man would raise and eyebrow and let out a sigh before responding "I might know a thing or two about them... They do live in this region, but they're quite dangerous. Wouldn't be hunting one would you?"
The girl would nod her head up and down rapidly "Mhm, That's why I'm here." The man would seemingly scoff a bit, but then continue "In that case, you'll need a lot more than bare hands to slay one, and you'll need the actual location of one. We can solve one of those problems, but the location... No one has seen them since the beginning of the war."
The man would give a look of depression, as if the snowball war was some sort of serious conflict. Bluu couldn't help but ask, "About that. What's this whole war thing about anyway? And why are they throwing snowballs at each other instead of actual weapons?" The man would be hesitant to answer, but felt he owed the outsiders an explanation "I'll explain, but take a seat and grab a drink... It's a long story."
The bartender would begin explaining the beginnings of the war "Ten years ago, the villages of 'Arctic Valley' and 'Artic Downs' use to be one village called 'Arctic Village'. The village was ruled over by our former elder who would eventually pass the land on to his two sons. Each son felt it was their right to lead the village. The catch was, the elder died while writing his will. He managed to mention Danny's name before adding Vlad's. By documentation, Danny is the rightful Elder. Vlad however disagrees, saying he deserves to rule, as he is the eldest brother... As for the snowballs, I'm not sure what you're talking about. Those are the strongest weapons around."
