To Kosho's surprise, the awaited for full power Ki clash never happened. In fact, thinking it over again, it probably wouldn't have happened in the first place. The first time Asmoskon and Kosho let it happen, Atsuko sent out a devastating attack that could have meant seriously bad news for her opponents. It shouldn't be a surprise that they ended up not going full charge in the end. Asmoskon and Atsuko both broke off their commitment, one after the other. Asmoskon sent out his attack towards Atsuko, yelling his attack's name, while Atsuko's attack seemed to come from above. He had a feeling something was going to happen when she started to move before she finished charging. Kosho also heard her mention something about them handing her the chance to charge her attack fully. He leaned his head in response and looked away. Yeaaahh, that mighta been my B. I wanted to see her full power attack. After drawing out her sword from the sheath, beams of light started coming straight for the other two combatants. Inhaling deeply, and exhaling, the Saiyan grinned as he pulled his arm back further and thrust it forward, before sending out his Ouroboros. "Trust me, I'm taking this battle very seriously! HA!!"Kosho's Ouroboros powered through Atsuko's attack. Unfortunately for Kosho, his attack didn't completely get through and carry much power with it. Despite that, this was as good an opportunity as any for him to prepare further for what was to come ahead. Asmoskon and Atsuko continued to exchange verbal blows with each other. The Saiyan can see tensions rising. In a fight, that could mean a good thing. With everything that had happened thus far, he tried to predict Atsuko's next movements. With himself being ignored by Asmoskon, he felt he could concentrate on the knight for a little bit. With all of her attacks in this fight, she has always came back with another attack. Maybe, she will try for another attack right off the bat. If that's the case, then... Kosho squatted a little bit and started charging Ki, harnessing it throughout his body. He was preparing for a Kiai. He was thinking Atsuko was going to try and attack Asmoskon and himself again. In order to prepare for that, he decided to sharpen up his defense a little bit. That way, if either one of them attacked him, he would be prepared for it. It didn't matter how much he could charge his Kiai. Kosho figured that any amount would do fine against one of their attacks, as long as he timed it right. He could potentially turn that defensive maneuver into a chance to do some damage. Asmoskon mentioned something to Kosho about taking life for its glory, and to never let anything pass him up. Smiling at the fact that they are all practically giving each other advice in this fight, the Saiyan responded. "You don't gotta lecture me on how precious life is. I never let a good fight escape from me!"Kosho kept charging his Kiai, attentive of the battlefield in front of him. Now, let's see what you two are going to do... Current HP: 114/140 Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 100/100 Actions: Fired Tier 2 Ouroboros (70*0.8 = 56 - 54 = 2; 2 damage is heading towards Atsuko) [1] Charging Tier 2 Kiai (10% - 20%) [2]

Asmoskon had decided to time his attack so that it would be unimpeded by Atsuko's own blow. A bold move. One that inevitably left them both left reeling from the effects; as the Saiyan took the full brunt of his attack in kind. She clenches her teeth tightly together, baring them. There was just a little bit of added sensation of burning thanks to Kosho's attack also getting through hers... But she was still standing. The Knight wasn't done fighting yet.
Her power was rising... Overflowing. And then, her power was maximum. Asmoskon would have no warning of this, but Kosho could definitely feel the sudden shift in her energy. An eerie silence fills the battlefield...
And then, Asmoskon would suddenly spot it with barely any time to react; the Knight diving at him from above, sword raised to strike, and it was swung faster and more powerful than what should have been possible for someone of her estimated strength.
Although a far cry of her previously showcased powers, it was nonetheless an impressive crescent wave of energy that threatened to collide with Asmoskon. Atsuko follows up with a sudden burst of speed, closing the distance between them and crouching low. She rises just as suddenly as she delivers a punch to his gut, poising the strike to lift him off the ground even if he made a move to defend against it. She follows with thrusting her sword up into the air just like she did before, causing the beam to shoot out towards his expected trajectory.
But even if the aim was off, or he tried to get out of the way, those smaller beams would rain out just like before. It was a veritable onslaught of blows, giving him zero room to breathe or recover. But just as she finishes that combo, she then raises a hand to signal to Kosho." Kosho! I humbly request that you allow Asmoskon and I to finish our fight! Once we're done, you can fight the winner. I trust you have no issues with that?" After having said that to Kosho... She then turns her focus to Asmoskon, straightening out and delivering an icy glare to him, hidden beneath the emotionless steel helmet. Now that she was in clearer view, one could see that her armor was cracked, but not entirely broken. Her cape was in tatters, and her robes were burnt. But any actual injury was hidden well beneath the many layers that concealed her figure and identity.
It gave one the impression that she wasn't hurt or tired at all -- She was. Her body ached all over, and her nerves screamed in agony. But even more than that, her Saiyan Blood boiled like never before. Adrenaline fueled her to heights never before reached..." I've gotten a pretty good read on you, Asmoskon." , she then states, pausing for a moment. " "The King of West City", "The White Haired Devil", "The Bleached Punk"... Your reputation precedes you. You match all the descriptions from the rumors surrounding West City. And seeing how you conduct yourself in and out of battle... I'd be willing to bet you're the criminal I've been looking for." The Knight explains in a focused tone of voice. " I'm so certain of it that I would even drag you to the Authorities just so they can identify you... So you have two options. Run with your tail between your legs. Or submit yourself to an arrest. Either way, I'll get the answers I want." The Saiyan then calmly raises her blade, pointing the tip at Asmoskon. " ... You think this city is yours, don't you? It's not. We're going to take it back. And I will never stop hunting you until you answer for your crimes." Kosho Asmoskon Actions: 1 - Tier 2 Sword of Light @ Asmoskon, charge is at 25%, damage of 15. 2 - Tier 2 Unbreakable Will @ Asmoskon, charge is at 25%, damage of 15. 3 - Tier 3 Holy Judgement @ Asmoskon, charge is at 25%, damage of 15. Engulfed in the ki of Atsuko’s technique Asmoskon couldn’t do much beyond tense his body while doing his best to stay up on his feet. The grass around him had already been for the most part decimated while he had been charging his Brutal Ring, but what persisted throughout the charge was now eviscerated from the power of the ki beam. Asmoskon could feel his body burning from the ki washing over him, forcing down on his flesh. He’d never taken a blow so powerful in his life which made this all the more eye opening. This was exactly what he had been looking for since he had left home over a decade prior. Atsuko and Kosho both had proven to Asmoskon that staying in one place was a waste of his time. If he wanted to track down those that could truly push him to new heights he’d have to find them himself. His chest had already been on display after his shirt was torn to ribbons from a previous attack in this encounter. Now though it would be plain to see unlike Atsuko, Asmoskon’s wounds were in full view. His toned muscular form was riddled with bruises and burns. Some various cuts ranging from small to rather large marked him. Dirt and sweat cling to him, musing with the blood seeping from open wounds. He definitely looked the worse for wear out of the three to anyone onlooking. When Atsuko’s ki subsided Asmoskon remained standing yet he could hardly feel his legs, they were a heavy sort of numb which gave him just three right bit of information on his current limitations. That attack had done more than he had expected and now as he saw Atsuko still standing he knew there wasn’t much else he could do to claim victory. No, that option was no longer viable at all. He peered from his peripheral vision at the sight of Kosho standing as well. The only difference being that he was no worse for wear. He had chosen to overpower Atsuko’s attack with his own, a more cautious gamble that seemed to be successful between their choices. It seemed being cautious was the correct choice this time around as the gamble hadn’t paid off quite enough for Asmoskon. He was breathing heavily now although inhaling slowly in order to try and regular his heart a bit better after suffering through such an attack. Through all of this though Asmoskon still grinned at Kosho remarking about how a good fight would never escape from his grasp. “Can only ever hope to be so lucky, I agree.” This really was turning out to be a good day. Despite all the pain he was experiencing throughout his body this was the first time in a literal decade that Asmoskon was able to fight someone that could challenge him, while enjoying it without concern. Perhaps he really would need to make sure Kosho and him went up against one another frequently. Atsuko rushing him wasn’t exactly what Asmoskon had been expecting. He knew that his technique had hit her so the fact that she was still able to ascend through the air was surprising. More shocking though was the fact that her armor even remained together. Whoever had made it definitely had been a pro at the trade. Of course Asmoskon didn’t have much time to react mainly on instinct as he raised his arms together in a vertical guard reminiscent of boxing. Flexing his muscles he felt the immense difference between when he had started and now. The Adamantine Body was utilized although Asmoskon could feel a heavy portion of Atsuko’s power cut into his forearms. Blood spraying from the middle of his forearms Asmoskon growled in pain yet made sure to never take his eyes off Atsuko. She landed on the ground in front of him and began to rush forward, it was obvious now she was going to attempt a melee assault which meant he might just be in luck. It all happened so fast that normal citizens wouldn’t even be able to perceive their actions yet to one another it was challenging, not impossible. Lowering himself by crouching his legs Asmoskon raises his arm upwards clashing against Atsuko’s attack which had been aimed at his gut. The fists of both fighters would clash against one another. The noise was intense while sickening. Essentially smashing two sledgehammers against each other at full force. Asmoskon could feel it though Ambush Strike wasn’t enough as his fist was pushed backwards sending him skidding across the dig up ground. Blood leaking from his knuckles now as his skin has been broken against Atsuko’s armor. He could feel the numbness in his hand. That blow has fractured quite a few of his bones if not broken them outright. That’s when he saw Atsuko make the same move she had just unleashed from her charge. Channeling his ki into his left the white ring became visible in front of his fist. Raising it up the Brutal Ring would clash for a moment against the bright beam coming down on him, yet proved to not be enough. Asmoskon was sent skidding across the ground several yards, his torso this time suffering the majority of the burns from Atsuko’s technique. For a moment he laid on the ground his left eye already swelling up quite large while the bruises across his body grew darker, more pronounced it the statement of pain. imgur.com/a/KP9gdv1He began to rise back up to his feet although it was obvious he wasn’t going to win after everything. Kosho was essentially still fresh despite the few good blows that they had delivered on one another. Seems he was just the favorite target of the day. If nothing else though it fueled Asmoskon. Not in the same way as Atsuko or Kosho though. Sure they sought strength and enjoyed battle. Asmoskon shared that with them and likely many other powerful individuals. What was different though was that this was providing evidence to something that he had been pondering for the last several months. He was about to speak when Atsuko directed her attention at Kosho. “Figures. Some knight like honor in that. This was a three way match from the start. Asking Kosho to stay on the sidelines at all goes against the entire purpose of this fight. We could have asked you to do the same while you stood back charging your first move instead of engaging. Instead we rolled with it.” Asmoskon’s good mood was tested by Atsuko’s disrespect. Not towards him or Kosho, but towards what he viewed as a proper fight. “Just another asshole that wants special treatment.” Thought Asmoskon as his view of the knight began to quickly shift from admiration into a tainted dislike. “Good for you, you believe in the law to keep you safe. You think you have me figured out yet despite that claim based on what you’ve said and your actions now, you don’t know jack shit. You’ve probably only been told what the police and mayor have written on some file about me right?” Asmoskon was obviously fuming mad now. Despite all his injuries he still pushed through shouting to a point. This really had just ruined perhaps the best day he could remember. “Here’s a question for you. If I’m such a bad guy, a criminal King. Then why didn’t I just shack down the ramen stand! Hmm? Why didn’t I just order him to make me what I wanted? Why did I pay him and treat him with respect! How I conduct myself in and out of battle? You’ve only seen me for maybe twenty minutes you presumptive BITCH!” “Oh no everyone on the streets is afraid of the Bleached Punk! That’s what you’ve heard right? Guess again. Those that listen blindly to authority such as yourself hear that from the mayor and police because I don’t have faith in them. I do what I must to protect my own interests with my own strength. I do look after the criminal scum of this city that’s true, but is being a babysitter a bad thing? You probably haven’t even looked at your little statistics have you? NEWS FLASH! West City has less rapes, murders and arson incidents then every other major city on Earth. You know WHY! It’s because I made it clear if any of them do that I’ll make them regret it!” “You don’t know shit. Thanks for ruining my day. Kosho hope to see you again at some point in the future. Atsuko I would have said the same only a minute ago, now though. That helmet really must obscure not just your view, but mine as well cause I actually thought you were rather awesome. Guess neither one of us is a good judge of character.” Asmoskon made it plainly apparent that he wasn’t going to continue this now. He hadn’t come here to fight for his life and he’d already taken enough damage that right now the chances of him actually winning were minimum at best. He was proud, vicious and young, but not stupid. A simple nod of his head to Kosho and he’d rush from the park. Funny enough headed right back to the ramen shop. If anything was going to make him feel better after this disappointment it was good food. Bulk Up: ⅔ (Offensive) Actions: 1: Adamantine Body vs Sword of Light ( 5.25 - 15 = 9.75 Damage) 2: Ambush Strike vs Unbreakable Will ( 8.75 - 15 = 6.25) 3: Brutal Ring vs Holy Judgement ( 8.75 - 15 = 6.25) (Asmoskon suffers 22.25 Damage) HP: 14.25/140 Ki: 100/100 (+3 Brutal Ring) (Asmoskon leaves the fight)

There was something...very strange going on suddenly. Beyond all the smoke, there was just silence. Even after Asmoskon's attack, there was nothing to be said, and nothing was said. There wasn't a single movement. Something was off, and Kosho could only stand there, harnessing Ki in preparation. Suddenly, he could feel a power shift, specifically with Atsuko. Eyes widening, Kosho gazed into the smoke in surprise. "What the he-"He wasn't even able to finish getting his sentence out. Out of nowhere, Atsuko shot out of the smoke, straight towards Asmoskon. What was up with her energy? What exactly just happened? Kosho was glad he was charging up his Kiai for this. If he wasn't charging up his defenses, who knew what could have happened to him in that instance she charged at her opponents, if it was him instead of Asmoskon? He didn't think he'd have enough time to put up any solid defenses. There he stood, surprised about what was even happening. He wasn't even able to give a proper reaction to Asmoskon agreeing with him. He smiled and nodded, but sweat dripped down his face just looking at what was going on. How did she get like this in just mere seconds? What happened in that smoke? Did she take something to make herself this much stronger? And what's up with her energy? The tides of battle had just shifted, all with one attack, all with one collision of Ki waves onto flesh. Why didn't Asmoskon go through the same change as her? Before long, Atsuko's assault ended. Taking everything in, her speed, her power, was something akin to doing basic arithmetic for Kosho. This Knight was still full of surprises, as she asked Kosho to let her and Asmoskon have a one-on-one and for him to fight the winner. At this point, the Saiyan wasn't even sure how to react. The idea of it sounded promising. Really promising. "Uh,...wait..."Regardless, Kosho let go of his charge for the Kiai, his Ki dispersed and faded away for the time being. Asmoskon jumped in, adding his two cents. He wasn't too happy about the compromise of Kosho fighting the winner, because he felt that this fight was a one-on-one-on-one. That was also very true, something that Kosho couldn't really argue against. What's more, everything came crashing down in an instant. Asmoskon was exposed as a criminal, which he didn't deny, and Atsuko was threatening to bring him in to the police. Asmoskon defended himself as being a criminal. While everything did make sense for Kosho now, connecting all the dots, he still was adamantly standing by the fact that he did not want Asmoskon turned in. With the last thing he said being a farewell for now to Kosho and a blatant diss to Atsuko, he nodded his head to the Saiyan and departed, to which Kosho responded with a nod of his own. After nodding back to Asmoskon, Kosho made his way over to Atsuko. If what she said was true, that she was 100% decided on turning him in to the police, then he had no time to waste with this. Once he got to the Knight, Kosho stuck out an arm in front of her, his back facing her, but looking right at her. "Wait, Atsuko. Listen, I agree with your motives of bringing in a criminal who needs punishing. I'm the type of guy who hates seeing the wrong people get away with doing whatever they want, too. But, this time, why don't we just let him go? He's hurt right now, and we all came here just to have a friendly battle. No killing, no one getting locked up, none of that. Besides, I don't think he's gonna try and do anything wrong, especially in the state that he's in."Dropping his arm, Kosho looked on ahead at where Asmoskon left from, focusing his eyes and squinting a bit. "It goes against what I believe, but I also can't go back on my word. I said it would just be a good ol' friendly free-for-all. As a Saiyan, I can't do that. Besides, I kinda like the guy. He could be a good ally later on, and an even better fight than he was today."Turning around to look at Atsuko, Kosho dropped his head and sighed. "I'm sorry. I know this is probably ridiculous to ask of you, but could you please let this slide?"If everything went the way Kosho asked, and Asmoskon was let go, then Kosho would lift his head up, smirking in delight. Sighing again, this time in relief instead of disappointment and regret, he'd bring his hand up to the back of his head, rubbing it slightly. "Okay, great. I'm glad to hear that. Again, I'm really sorry I asked you to hold off on such a thing. You'll probably have another chance at some later time to arrest him, although something tells me he'll have changed a bit by the time we see him again."I hope, at least! Dammit, Kosho, don't just say things randomly with nothing to base them on. Getting that off his chest, Kosho backed up a little bit, looking back to Atsuko and sizing her up. There was something very different about her, and she wasn't even bothering to hide it. There was a part of Kosho that wanted to test her limits now, and another part of Kosho that wasn't satisfied with ending the fight right here after Asmoskon left. They agreed with each other, and the Saiyan went in for his next course of action. "Something about you changed, ever since you got hit by Asmoskon's last attack. You know, before that whole smoke screen and everything? If you don't mind, we can finish this fight between you and me, see who the victor will be. I wanna get to the bottom of your sudden power shift."Current HP: 114/140 Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 100/100 Actions: Cancelled Kiai charge Takes full mental confusion damage on how Atsuko changed so much with her Pain Threshold Racial (0 damage, he's just very confused and very curious)

Asmoskon had put up an admirable defense time and again when it came to matching Atsuko's blows; but her power had risen considerably. There was too much of a difference between them now, the Knight would handily the secure the win at this rate. Something that caused her to swell with pride. The ability to prove herself a victor over a foe that was initially stronger than her was rather tempting... At least up until he began to voice his complaints." You never asked to hold a duel with an opponent, either." , she points out. " At any time you could have made such a request and I would have honored it. Don't make excuses now just because you're a coward that can't face someone in single combat." Atsuko shot her retort back without hesitation. " I made that request of Kosho because if he so chose, he could have won the fight against us right then and there. By pulling the same stunt you did. Call it 'special treatment' all you like. You openly challenged me with what you did." How the Knight viewed honor in combat was soon becoming rather clear... But what Asmoskon had to say next tested her patience even further. " I'm a defender of those that can't fight for themselves. You trample over everyone around you like it's your given right to do so." , she spoke with a hard tone of voice." For your information, no one on the Police, or sided with the Mayor told me this. I asked people. Both around and in West City." , she then scoffs, waving off his flimsy excuse afterwards. " Paid for the meal?! The thing you should have done? You're clearly a paragon of virtue!" , she openly mocked.
She then shakes her head as he goes into his spiel about authority. " Spoken like a rebellious brat. Authority, rules, and laws exist for a reason. You don't get to violate them without consequences. You're not that special." , she then responds. Using his own logic against him." And since you're so eager to run away... That tells me that everything I just said about you is true. So run. Like the cowardly dog that you are. West City isn't yours anymore." After that heated exchange, Kosho hopped into the mix and extended an arm in front of the Knight to stop her. " It's okay. I'll let him run. I said I would do that." , she gestures for Kosho to relax.
Atsuko hears him out, but doesn't exactly agree with his assessment of Asmoskon's character... There was no reason to believe he was anything other than a common thug. The Saiyan only sighs in response. " I hope you're right, Kosho. But I don't think he can be trusted just yet." With that all said and done, Kosho then asked about her strange power shift... It was something that Atsuko noticed too. It prompted her to look down at her hands, focusing on her own energy for a moment. " To be honest? I'm not sure... It's something that happens when I get pushed hard enough, I know this much. I've never been pressed like that, though. So I guess that's why there's such a huge difference now." Atsuko can only guess as to what it is that's going on. But, that was neither here nor there." As Asmoskon forfeited the fight and ran... It is only fair that I give you what was promised; the fight against the winner. I accept your challenge. Maybe it'll give me a chance to learn more about this strange ability too." Fortunately enough, Atsuko was already planning on letting Asmoskon get away. The Saiyan sighed in relief and scratched the back of his head a little bit, thankful that the white haired criminal was let go. While he apologized a lot to her, Atsuko accepted his apology, but also casted some doubt on Asmoskon getting better in the future. Kosho laughed and looked away, nervously. Yeah, that's why I regretted saying it after I did. I can't read people like that. After Atsuko and Asmoskon said their choice words to each other and Asmoskon departed, Kosho opened up his next question about her sudden power shift and if she wanted to continue the fight. To the Saiyan's surprise, the Knight also didn't know how exactly she's able to harness this power. All she knows is that this happens when she's pushed hard enough. This was her first time being pushed this hard before. So, we're that formidable of an opponent for her? I'm glad I was one of the first then. Atsuko agreed to continuing their fight, since Asmoskon had dropped out. Unable to conceal his happiness, the Saiyan displayed a smile that was akin to a child finding a playmate. Backing up a little bit more, Kosho started charging his Ki, flaring all around him. He was harnessing it into his hands. It would be an understatement to say that Kosho's interest was piqued from hearing Atsuko say this. No, Kosho's interest spiked to new heights he hadn't experienced before. Not during his time competing in underground fighting tournaments, or the official ones, or even as a part of the Army. "Well, I'm glad you're the type of knight to keep your end of the deal! I'm itching to find out exactly how much your power has grown in that short amount of time. If you were able to keep Asmoskon on the ropes like that, I can only wonder what you'd do against me. Last time I checked, Asmoskon and I were around the same in terms of power."Continuing to harness his Ki, Kosho inhaled deeply, and let it out. His smirk never faded in the face of adversity, and his Saiyan blood kept pumping excitement through his veins. "I don't mean to use your own line against you, Atsuko, but come at me!"Kosho's goal in this little taunt/provocation was to get Atsuko to charge at him with one of her attacks. He wanted to see just how well his attacks compared to hers in her current state, and exactly how much power he'd have to use to match her or surpass her. If I remember correctly, Asmoskon was just getting his attacks out without building up more strength for them, and he was still getting overpowered by Atsuko. Just how much stronger did she get in that one moment? Current HP: 114/140 Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 100/100 Actions: Charging Tier 2 Yin Yang Strike (10% - 30%) [all 3]

Atsuko smiled at Kosho's praise, offering a bow in response. " If there is one thing you can count on, it is that I am a woman of honor. When I vow something, I will see it through. Only the most extreme of circumstances will see me go back on my word." The Saiyan straightens out after saying that, and as Kosho backs off to ease back into his fighting stance, Atsuko does the same. Despite the numerous injuries that riddled her body, she didn't seem any worse for wear when it came to fighting. Brimming with just as much energy as when she started, it seems. " As for how strong I've become... Yeah, I noticed that too. It definitely feels like some kind of hidden power just broke free. But I noticed that whenever I fully recover from a fight, that feeling goes away. So unfortunately... We'll have to make the most of it right now." Of course, that meant she was walking on the razor's edge. The Knight knew that even if she felt like she could keep going for days, the truth was that she wasn't anywhere near immortal. She was keenly aware of her limitations even now. If she really wanted to secure victory, she was going to have to fight even harder than before... But that was an exciting prospect in itself. She had yet to meet an opponent that could push her to such a degree. Asmoskon and Kosho both had fit that bill nicely.
As Kosho then taunts her to come at him, she decides to oblige by first building her energy; she knew that there was still a difference in their strength, and she couldn't rush in blindly. But she could gauge just how close their powers were now too... Even without spending as much time charging as he did, well--
-- You could see the results as the Knight rockets towards him, fist raised and then delivering a strong strike at the direction of her opponent. If Kosho reacted to it in time with his defense, then he'd find that the two were perfectly equal in terms of the clash. Neither one taking damage, and no leftover energy. Kosho Actions: 1 - Charging Unbreakable Will, charge goes from 25% to 30% 2 - Charging Unbreakable Will, charge goes from 30% to 35% 3 - Unleashes Unbreakable Will @ Kosho, damage of 21! The Saiyan smiled at Atsuko's bow and her acceptance of his compliment. It seemed that she really was formal, down to her last cell. It seemed almost ironic that she would have this power within her and this love for fighting, despite being so formal and respectable. Two opposites, combined into one being, to form an interesting character. One thing was for certain: Kosho was more than happy he went on patrol in West City today. Atsuko and Asmoskon both gave him the time of his life, all just by fighting with him. These were two people he wasn't going to be satisfied meeting just once. There will definitely be a next time. Atsuko responded to Kosho's taunt by charging up her own attack, and coming straight for the Saiyan to unleash said attack. Responding immediately after he saw movement, Kosho moved his hands in a circular motion in front of him, his right hand engulfed in white aura and his left engulfed in a black aura. The Saiyan then pulled his arms back and thrust them forward in a palm strike, straight for Atsuko's fist. To Kosho's surprise, their attacks were completely negated by each other. No one was hurt by it in the slightest, no one used more energy than the other. His eyes widened at the spectacle as he quickly made sense of it in his brain. So, that's where we are right now? She didn't spend as long as I did charging her technique, yet we both had the same amount of power in our attacks? Then, this is how she was able to overpower Asmoskon so easily. Smirking, and looking at his undamaged hands, Kosho started to chuckle a little bit. There was no way he could hold it back. He just had a revelation that told him this battle could still go either way. When the Saiyan stopped chuckling, he tightened his headband a little more and uttered one thing that Atsuko was barely close enough to hear. "So, it seems like I'm the one with my back against the wall, now."Immediately afterwards, Kosho flared his Ki again. He didn't want to waste any time with the next tactic he came up with. He fired off three Ki blasts at Atsuko in quick succession. Falling back a bit more afterwards, Kosho put his hand close to his hip and turned a little, so that Atsuko wasn't able to see the hand behind him. He was definitely harnessing Ki into that hand, but he wanted to make it seem like he was charging up for his Ouroboros. In reality, he was charging instead for his Proud Stand. Maybe if I can get her to come at me with an attack, thinking I'm going to attack back, I can catch her off-guard and turn my defense into an offense. This isn't a battle I can win by making sure I make no mistakes, anymore. I have to strategize and plan things out accordingly. "You're really something else, Atsuko! I honestly don't know if I have a solid chance of winning this fight, anymore. But, at the very least, I'm not gonna leave until I do some kinda damage to you."Kosho continued to harness Ki into his concealed hand. He felt that if, somehow, he was able to plan out every single attack accordingly, and he was careful with his movements, he could come out on top in this fight. One thing was for sure: the pressure was on. However, Kosho was never one to succumb to pressure. Current HP: 114/140 Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 100/100 Actions: Used Tier 2 Yin Yang Strike on Atsuko's Unbreakable Will; their attacks cancelled each other out (1) Fired three Ki blasts at Atsuko (1) Charging up Tier 2 Proud Stand (10% - 15%) [1]

Kosho ended up remarking that he was the one with his back against the wall right now, and it was true, in terms of pure offensive capabilities... She could keep up with him. But Atsuko wagered that if it came to putting up a defense of her own, she'd be much worse off. He was still strong enough to break through whatever guard she raised. But even more than that, she remembered that he was able to catch one of her attacks and return it's power to her.
She needed to play this carefully, consider her moves. " Yet it seems you're no less excited for the battle to continue. I respect that." When he fired off three successive Ki Blasts, Atsuko responded by swinging her sword with little preparation time, and firing off another crescent wave of energy that would engulf them, and burst through with leftover energy.Certainly, no one could say that Kosho was a coward. Atsuko would defend his honor on that much if anyone did deliver such an insult. Her opponent would also give another compliment, saying that she was something else. " Ha! Thank you! You're quite the warrior as well. I'll bring you my very best. Any less would be an insult." After having exchanged those words, Atsuko would take notice of the fact that he was charging some kind of Technique... She could feel that power rising. But it was difficult to tell exactly what it was that he was preparing. Was it an attack, or could it have been a defensive maneuver, like before? There was only one way to find out, and she'd just have to deal with whatever consequences that might result!
The Knight thrusts her sword forth, causing several beams of light to shoot out and surge towards Kosho. It truly seemed like their fight was just beginning at this rate. As for what she does after all this? She begins to channel her own energy to confirm one of the suspicions that she had. Her aura of Ki hardening into a barrier. This was her Technique, called "Knight's Aegis". Kosho Actions: 1 - Sword of Light vs Ki Blasts, Kosho's damage of 4 versus 15 2 - Holy Judgement fired at Kosho, damage of 15 3 - Charging Knight's Aegis, charge goes from 10% to 15% HP: 27/120 Ki: 100/100 Notes: Assumed that Kosho's Ki Blasts was a basic attack with tier 1 damage, which would be 3.5, rounded up to 4.

Without a doubt, Kosho was going to stay committed to this fight. Atsuko even praised how he was still excited for this fight, despite him seeing himself with his back against the wall. Continuing to charge his Proud Stand, the Saiyan responded with a kind smile to thank her and some words of his own. "Well, a fight ain't a good fight unless it has some sort of a challenge, right? Besides, winning isn't entirely my objective here. If I can get stronger from this and have fun, then there shouldn't be a reason to back down."Atsuko responded to his Ki blasts by sending forth one of her own from her sword, much more powerful than his attacks. However, Kosho couldn't and wouldn't respond to this attack, he couldn't risk the time he spent charging his defenses to be wasted. The crescent shaped Ki stung as it hit him, burning the side of his body that was shown to Atsuko. Kosho's compliment to Atsuko was met with another compliment. Smiling again after taking her attack head on, he couldn't help but to thank her. "Thanks! That means a lot, coming from you. I'm bringing my A game, too!"With that, Atsuko sent off another attack to Kosho. Those beams of light were recognizable to the Saiyan. She'd just used that attack on both him and Asmoskon before she went through that sudden change. With those beams of light coming towards him now, Kosho found this as his opportunity to act. Holding up his hand, he took a Proud Stand against Atsuko's new attack. He could feel some pain from the attack, getting through to him and biting into his hand again. However, with the amount of the attack he was able to catch, he made no hesitation with his next move. Kosho brought the attack inwards, towards his hip, and deflected it back to Atsuko. While he was doing that, he noticed that the Knight seemed to be charging some sort of barrier. This was the first time he saw her use some sort of defensive maneuver not based on an attack. She really is taking me seriously. I like it! Immediately after sending Atsuko's attack back to her, Kosho wouldn't let up with the assault. He took a step forward, harnessing Ki into both of his balled up fists, and quickly sent out a Uraeus Fang. It was a one-two succession of attacks. How do her defenses stand up against this back-to-back assault? I needa see for myself... Current HP: 102/140 (-12) Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 95/100 Actions: Took 11 damage from Atsuko's Sword of Light, choosing not to guard it (free) Charged Tier 2 Proud Stand (15% - 20%) [1] Used Tier 2 Proud Stand on Atsuko's Holy Judgement, catching 14 damage; redirected 14 damage back to Atsuko (took -1 damage from leftover energy) [1] Used Tier 2 Uraeus Fang (10% of 70 = 7) [1]

Yeah... That outright confirmed it. Kosho lived and breathed as nothing less than a warrior. While he may not have been a Knight, she would meet his efforts head-on. Treating him with the respect that he deserved in battle. It was not an easy thing, to stand up tall against someone stronger than you. She had ironically started off as the one on the back foot, and while that may have changed somewhat now... His skill could still shine through. She expected that it may very well do just that.
"Well said, Kosho.", that was all she had to say in response. But the tone of her voice carried across just how much she respected him for this.
Surprising enough to her, he opted not to take any action against her first attack, allowing it to strike true. That meant he was definitely up to something here, and she would need to choose her actions carefully depending on the ebb and flow of this sparring session. He then uses that same Technique from before, catching her attack and taking minimal damage, then throwing it her way.
Atsuko responds by charging her defensive barrier about as fast as she can. If she did it right, she could still prevent most of the damage. But it was certainly a tight squeeze. But as her aura flares up a little more fiercely, she is engulfed by the energy of her own attack redirected by Kosho... And as the light from it fades, she is left just lightly injured from the assault, the barrier having been broken.
With no other option against his follow-up attack, Atsuko swings her blade again, unleashing another crescent wave that would collide with his Uraeus Fang. In terms of an outright offense, she still had the edge... But she had to play her cards very carefully. If Atsuko made the wrong move, she could leave herself open to that reflecting counter of his.
"Haha! You're the first one besides the masters back at the Monastery that can keep up with me! I think we'll have to keep sparring like this, it's so rare to find someone that can match strength and skill alike!"
Actions: 1 - Charging Knight's Aegis, goes from 15% to 20% 2 - Uses Knight's Aegis to block Proud Stand's damage. Defense of 12 versus a damage of 14, 2 damage taken 3 - Uses Sword of Light against Uraeus Fang, damage of 15 versus 7, wins with 8 damage!

Despite her giving such a short response, Kosho could feel the emotion behind Atsuko's voice. She was very into this, and not only did she respect Kosho for his words and his actions as a warrior, she was demonstrating herself in the same way. This battle, at this point, wasn't just a sparring session. No, this was practically a bonding experience. As they fought, the two of them bonded even further as comrades. Without words, Kosho looked to his opponent with a smile on his face and chuckled, like a child being praised for their award at the science fair. The redirected attack on Atsuko was both an unfortunate and fortunate thing to happen for Kosho. For one, it was unfortunate because it didn't do much damage to her, even with the barrier she put up. It was fortunate cuz Kosho was able to gauge a little more of her power by looking at the results. He could feel the power behind Atsuko's attack when she sent it at him, and after redirecting it to her, he could tell that her attack was more powerful than her defense. Not only that, but it seems like she spent a longer amount of time preparing that barrier. That attack she unleashed was a lot quicker and more powerful than her barrier. Her strength probably lies in her offense then. I need to somehow put her on the defensive, but how? Kosho didn't have much time to think. His next move was to avoid Atsuko's counter to his Uraeus Fang. Luckily for Kosho, the attack was weakened enough by the Uraeus Fang for him to block most of the damage. Inhaling deeply, Kosho crouched down, his arms crossed over each other and balled up. Then, in one swift movement, after summoning mass amounts of Ki, he spread his arms out to his sides, palms open, spreading out his Ki to the surrounding area and using the Kiai. "KIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAI!!"With that loud shout, Kosho disrupted the area around him, and was able to block off most of the damage from Atsuko's attack. Some of it still slipped through, gashing Kosho's chest and doing a little bit of damage to him. The Saiyan let out a sigh of relief, which he'd been doing a lot lately. Standing back up straight, he took a bit to look at his opponent in front of him. Atsuko's knightly armor was somewhat in tatters, but he was sure it was like that even before his assault. Laughing along with Atsuko, Kosho responded to her praise and her offer to keep training together. "Heh! Well, count me lucky that I can compete with your speed and strength in whatever way I can. I wonder who these 'masters' are you're talking about, and just how strong they are. And sparring with you sounds like something I don't wanna pass up from now on. You can count on me for that."Getting back down into the same position he was in to charge his Proud Stand, Kosho began harnessing Ki into his hand at his hip again. This time, it wasn't a defensive technique. He was charging his Ouroboros. Maybe if I can catch her off-guard with this, I can put her on the defensive and take her down? Have her play the guessing game with my moves. The green ball of Ki formed in Kosho's hand, as he harnessed more and more Ki into that hand, concealing it as best as he could. Current HP: 101/140 (-1) Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 95/100 Actions: Used Tier 2 Kiai on Atsuko's Sword of Light, reducing damage taken to -1 [1] Charging up Tier 2 Ouroboros (10% - 20%) [2]

That little exchange earlier definitely confirmed one of Atsuko's suspicions. This power increase, whatever it was... It only worked for her offensive Techniques. So if she wanted to be able to secure the victory on this, she had to be sure that she wouldn't be put on the back foot. Otherwise it was going to be impossible to secure victory... Even if she lost, that wouldn't be a bad thing in itself. But it would be a disappointing ending to their fight.
She wanted to give Kosho a battle to remember. And that meant she had to make it last longer than it already had. Once again, he was trying to carefully charge his energy without giving away what he was up to. However, there was one thing that she could piece together... In the instances where he caught her attack, it wasn't a perfect catch. The difference was slight, but it WAS there. A little bit of her power broke through.
That means she had to charge her power in kind, and overwhelm any defense he puts up. A bold strategy, but if she makes it risky for him to rely on that, then maybe it would be enough to turn the tides. "I might introduce you to them sometime. Though I have to admit, they don't share our passion for combat."
The Saiyan responds, now diverging her focus to charging her Technique. However, she could sense how evenly matched they were with their respective energies. If she tried to press the attack right now, then it would only result in another even clash with no injury dealt to either one of them. No. Atsuko had to pace herself.
That was why she poured everything she had into charging Unbreakable Will. The hint to that being how she was shifting her stance. It looked like she was ready to pounce at a moment's notice.

Having this battle last longer, ending it with one attack, right here and now, it didn't matter to Kosho. What mattered the most to him was finding new strength from it, and having as much fun as possible. Usually, dragging the fight out longer makes it more interesting, which in turn makes it more fun. Kosho continued to charge his Ouroboros, the ball of Ki growing bigger and brighter in his hand. With this attack, he's hoping he could catch Atsuko off guard, making her think he's putting up defenses again. However, she indeed thought he was putting up defenses again, and thus started charging her own attack. Well, to be fair, I didn't exactly know what to expect from this. But, I could still make something outta this. Kosho was a little disappointed to hear that those "masters" Atsuko was talking about wouldn't be as happy or excited about having a spar or fighting him. Although, knowing that not everyone on Earth would be as battle hungry as Kosho is, he didn't get too disappointed. "Ah, well, that's understandable. Not everyone has the urge to fight like we do."Just like he noticed, Atsuko's attack was getting stronger much quicker than her defenses. This was bad for Kosho. To this extent, almost every attack he'd throw at her would do nothing, and every defense he'd put up would only catch most of the attack, not all of it. As bad as it was, it was still exciting for the Saiyan. Now! Kosho put his arm in front of him, revealing the green Ki charged in his hand. "Ouroboros!"With that, Kosho fired the Ouroboros straight to Atsuko as she was charging one of her own attacks. He knew one thing about his Ouroboros: it was coming up short. If that blast actually hit her, of course it'll do some damage, but the Saiyan highly doubted that, in the condition she was in, she was going to let that hit her. That being said, she probably expected me to put up a Proud Stand again. Man, this rock-paper-scissors game is just proving to backfire on me. But, just in case she was preparing for that defense... Kosho got down in the blocks, as if he was a sprinter about to start a race. The starting pistol would be Atsuko's attack. Harnessing Ki into his limbs, the Saiyan started preparing for his Chimera Dash. He'd have only one shot to execute this maneuver. Kosho knew that his attack wouldn't be enough to match or outmatch Atsuko's attack, just from feeling the Ki charging inside her and comparing it to his own in his Ouroboros. This was Kosho trying to put some pressure on his opponent, even while the pressure was on him. Current HP: 101/140 Current PL: 70 Ki Pool: 100/100 Actions: Charged up Tier 2 Ouroboros (20% - 25%) [1] Fired Tier 2 Ouroboros, 18 damage is traveling to Atsuko (1) Charging Tier 2 Chimera Dash (10% - 15%) [1]

The Knight gives a small nod in response as Kosho admits to his understanding that not everyone would be as excited to fight. " I'm sure they would be willing to help you train... But honestly, I had gotten top of the class marks, it may not do very much for you as you are now. You're stronger than me before I'm pushed to this point. But, I won't rule out the possibility you could find something worthwhile there." It was a strange juxtaposition, having these two fight like the fate of the world depended on who would win -- yet their conversation was cordial and polite. Despite these two pouring everything they had into this, there was no intention to take the opponent's life. But to any on-looker, you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise! Because the battle just kept ramping up in intensity.
Kosho fired off his attack after charging it a bit more. She had to time this part very carefully, squeezing just a bit more energy into her attack. Then in a bold move, Atsuko lunges forward straight into the attack, and punches through it, and continues soaring right for her opponent! That was with her free hand, and in the one that still tightly held her sword, she began to charge her energy for a follow-up. Neither of them showed any signs of slowing or stopping.
Although if one called for a forfeit, the other would likely honor it. But with how much they were into it... Just how likely was that to happen anytime soon? Only time would tell how this duel ends. Kosho Actions: 1 - Charging Unbreakable Will, charge goes from 45% to 50% 2 - Fires Unbreakable Will @ Kosho's Ouroboros, wins with a damage of 30 vs 18. Damage of 12 goes through. 3 - Charging Sword of Light, charge goes from 25% to 30% HP: 25/120 Ki: 100/100
