Kosho is an energetic man. Physical activity is his main attraction. Anything that involves him punching something or someone easily takes his interest. Despite being a friendly person, he usually hides it behind a focused scowl. He has a little trouble opening up to people, but if someone spends the time to get to know him, his energetic side will show more and more. He doesn't really trust people he first meets, and he could come off as pretty cold and awkward. People who he doesn't know, who try to talk to him or keep annoying him will only get on his nerves. Kosho has patience but even that can be tested. Kosho doesn't tolerate any injustice or cockiness. In his mind, people who are cocky are waiting to be proven wrong and humiliated, and people who like taking advantage of people want to be hurt. He would want to give them that hurt, but of course he would never want to kill them. Watching people get hurt set him off even more. He’s mostly disinterested when it comes to doing docile activities, such as drawing, writing, reading, or anything else of the sort. Finally, as much as he is cold and awkward around new people, he can’t be alone for too long. Having people around him is favorable to Kosho. All he really wants is some friends.

History:
Family: Father: Langa, Mother: Savoy
Home world: Planet Patch
Starting planet: Earth
Home Town: Celtuce City
Kosho was an only child born of a military family in a place called Celtuce City on Planet Patch. Celtuce City is a medium-sized city nearby the Saiyan capital, home to ex and current military, like Kosho's family. His parents being Traditionalist Saiyans, they told Kosho about the ways of old and taught them their regular practice now. One thing that was always appealing to him was fighting. That's all he wanted to do. Even before he reached the age his parents wanted him to in order to start training for the tri-monthly competitions, he was begging them to teach him how to fight and to train him. Of course, since he was so eager to learn and to train, they granted him his wish. Kosho's first stage was to get through training with his mother, Savoy. She was a very powerful soldier who fought on the front lines a lot more than her partner. As such, her training already started off extremely difficult for the young Saiyan, but he was never discouraged. Every time he fell, he would get up with a smile and beg for more. After Savoy deemed him worthy for the next phase, she turned him over to her partner Langa after a few months. Langa was much worse than Savoy. His experience may have been little compared to Savoy when it came to the battlefield, but he was a higher rank than his partner. He was just as ruthless as she was, only a lot more demanding and a lot more sadistic.
Because of his training from his parents, Kosho wasn't able to attend his first tri-monthly competition when he wanted to. However, he was able to attend the next one. He just finished his father's training right the week before the competition started. Congratulating him on a job well done, they told him to rest for the remainder of the week, before the competition. As much as Kosho wanted to keep training, his parents forced him to rest. He needed it after his rigorous training. In the competitions, Kosho preformed far above average and won his age bracket. Seeing the fruits of his labor, Kosho only wanted to fight more powerful opponents. He continued his training under both parents this time, where they paced him for the next competition. Again, he excelled further than he had before. However, he did not win this time. There was another Saiyan who beat him. Tasting defeat, his parents were slightly worried he was going to give up after the ego trip he went through last time. However, losing only made Kosho a lot more excited to fight again and win. Abandoning his ego trip once and for all, Kosho humbled himself and begged for more training from his parents. Feeling immense pride in their son, they complied.
Kosho continued his training under his parents for years, becoming the buzz of the city. Under his parents' tutelage, he was able to create his own techniques and trained to make them better and better. Kosho was 15 years old when his father first asked him if he would like to join the military. He told him that being a part of the Imperial army was a great opportunity to fight many other powerful opponents and defend those who cannot defend themselves. He wasn't forced to make a decision right then and there, but Kosho was considering it. In his youth, Kosho was concerned with fighting as many powerful opponents as possible. He even participated in unofficial and underground fighting tournaments, just for the thrill of the fight and to see if there were any fighters out there better than him. He'd win some; he'd lose some. However, no matter how many times he won or lost, Kosho just kept wanting more. Violence, without murdering, was good and necessary to him.
When he was 16, Kosho enlisted in the Imperial army, a lot quicker than his parents expected. As an Imperial soldier, he would make frequent trips to the capital, where people ended up becoming fond of him. There are times where, whenever he had free time, he had friendly sparring matches with other soldiers and anyone else who wanted to challenge him. People would gather around to watch just for the fun of it. No matter the outcome, Kosho was just happy to find other people who were fighting fanatics just like he was. The young Saiyan continued his work as an Imperial soldier, but remained inside Planet Patch. During this era of peace, he was mostly just doing guard work for people high in the Saiyan society, and rarely the King. He never was able to see the King's face, however. He never had the chance to meet him.
In light of all the attacks on descendants of the Knights of Yama, Kosho was offered the opportunity to go to Earth after they requested Saiyan soldiers to help defend them. However, he respectfully declined, saying that "my loyalty lies with the King, and he will be the person I protect." Langa and Savoy honored and respected his decision, but kept the offer open if anything were to happen and change his mind. The 20-year-old Saiyan didn't think anything would change his mind. That is, until the King was assassinated. While he wasn't specifically assigned to guard his chamber, he was on duty in the capital when it happened, and he felt more than devastated when he found out that night what had happened. He was thinking to himself that he wished something exciting would happen, and in response to that, fate killed the King. As much as they wanted to show Kosho that he wasn't in the wrong, Langa and Savoy weren't able to bring him back up from the pit he dug for himself. It took a whole month for Kosho to finally pick himself up, and for his parents to finally knock some sense into him. Kosho acknowledged that he wasn't responsible for his King's death. However, as a Saiyan, he would not let that death be in vain. As a soldier, he wouldn't let that happen to anyone else's king. He accepted the offer to serve at Earth, and left the planet for the first time to defend Earth, her citizens, and her king from any other threats. Now, Kosho serves on Earth. He still trains, but seeks a new master to train with, and new friends to make.

Just a few more. Damn, I really gave myself a lot to do today. The young Saiyan thought this to himself, his muscles burning with the workout he'd given himself. He was just about to finish 600 hand stand push-ups, and his body was screaming at this point. Sweat fell to the floor every other second, and just before his limbs gave out, Kosho was able to finish his last rep. He got back to his feet, sighing in relief that his workout was over. Looking out into the distant sunset, he reminisced about his days before today, and acknowledged what tomorrow was. He stood pensive, staring towards the sunset, almost losing track of time. That was until a deep, commanding voice called over to him from behind him.
"Kosho, come back inside." Kosho turned back around and saw Langa, his father, waiting for him at the door.
"Yeah, coming, Dad." Kosho didn't hesitate. He walked back to his house and entered through the front door, right behind his father. Inside, his mother Savoy was waiting at a table. She stood up and crossed over to him, touching his bare chest.
"How are you feeling? You shouldn't be overdoing your training, especially now."
"I'll be fine, Mom, and I am fine. Stop worrying about me so much."
Langa interjected, trying to change the subject.
"Honestly, by this point in time, I'd have expected you to move out the house and settle down with some girl. Maybe over there, you can get with one of those Earth girls, huh?" Langa had a huge smile on his face. Savoy giggled and turned to her son, in agreement with her partner.
"Yeah, maybe?"
Kosho shrugged, unmoved by the comment.
"I mean, if she's strong, then I guess that would be fine."
Langa rolled his eyes and smirked. "Yup, he's definitely a Saiyan."
To which Kosho retorted very quickly. "Was there ever a doubt?"
Kosho laid in his bed, his armor next to him, his body not moving an inch. Yes, tomorrow was the day he deployed to Earth. As excited as he was, he still felt very, very uneasy. Uneasy about the past, uneasy about the future. It'd be wrong to say he wasn't sentimental. What's the word he's looking for? Oh, yeah, he thought to himself, I'm just sad, aren't I? How the hell did I forget such a simple feeling? As much as Kosho didn't want to go, he felt he had a duty to go. He didn't let go of his sadness and weariness, purely because of the fact that it would help him go to sleep quicker. The Saiyan rolled over and made himself comfortable Tomorrow's another day. I'll get hyped in the morning, and it'll all be better. I know I can't be down on myself forever. It was then that Kosho heard a knocking at his doorway. He rolled over to see his father standing there, concern in his eyes.
"You know, you don't have to be so down on yourself. You know it wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could do." Langa sat down at the foot of Kosho's bed.
"Trust me, I'm not beating myself up anymore. I do feel I have to defend those who need defending, though. I'm still going to Earth."
"Oh, I know, and I'm not here to try and tell you otherwise. I just wanna make sure you're okay, and tell you that you're going to do more than fine over there. You may not hear Saiyan families say this a lot but..."
Langa was a little choked up, Kosho could tell without even looking. However, when Kosho looked down to his father, he surprisingly saw him tearing up a little bit. Langa looked to his son with a fond and emotional smile, mustering up what was left for him to say.
"We're very proud of you, and we're going to miss you."
Kosho closed his eyes and smiled. "I'm going to miss you, too. Both of you. We'll keep in contact, so, don't worry."
Quickly, Langa's mood changed, and there were no longer tears in his eyes or a smirk on his face. "You better, dammit. That shouldn't even be a question. Otherwise, I'm coming down there to kill you myself!"
"Yes sir." Kosho straightened up in his own bed while laying down, becoming stiff as a board. With that Langa stood up and went to the doorway again. He knocked again and looked back to his only son.
"Get some rest. Can't have you oversleeping."
With that, Langa left his son in his room and retreated to his own. Kosho lay there, closing his eyes, and smirking. Yeah, he thought to himself, this is definitely sadness. It took all of his willpower to fight back his own tears, and as a result a pained, sad expression formed on Kosho's face. When he'd calmed down, he went to sleep. Tomorrow, I defend Earth.
