Council Member Luse Of House Frostist.
The Royal Elite Three - (Bulwhick, Shanks,Drake)
Planet Wage - Grand Leader Ismaul
White Wolves - Leader Grave
Grand Maester
The immense tension in the Chambers were deeply shown. Within the room itself, was the Grand Leader Ismaul of Planet Wage standing in his podium. By his right side was the White Wolves leader. Standing outside of the doors of the chamber, were several White Wolves Captains on standby, ten in total. Each looking more menacing and feared than the last. Standing next to them, were Captain PTO soldiers on the ready and guarding the doors, ten in total.
Within the Chambers and on the opposite side of the Grand Leader, was Aoi who stood on his own podium along with Luse who stood on his own podium to his right. Between the two of them were the three Royal Elite Guards of the PTO. They stood in idle, ready. The first to talk was Aoi, who calmly folded his hands together.
"At the request from Leader Ismaul of the Planet Wage, we are standing here present for the meeting. You accuse the PTO faction of killing the council members Wasabi and Senick."
"Given that they were under your protection. What other conclusion am I to have?"
Luse was the next one to speak, giving Ismaul a curious stare.
"Are you perhaps aware of, the arcosian known as the Blue Lighting?"
"Like anyone else in the world, I have heard of the name before. But what does a lone mercenary like him have to do with the killing of both the council members of my Planet, on top of the Raging Bulls being wiped out? Why would he target them right after killing the council members? You don't find that strange at all?"
"I ask you who he was, because his reputation means something. I don't have to tell you that he has a great interest in joining many mercenary factions in the past for aiding. The Black Hand being one of them, the Red Riders, and at one point in time, the White Wolves."
The leader of the Wolves having a look of disgust.
"He has attacked many factions in the past he has even worked with. The charts that I can provide you, will show you that we are also on that list of attacks. Many wonder why Sector X-17 has the rumors of being very dangerous. He is apart of that reason. Which is why we had to scramble just enough soldiers to protect the Citadel being his recent attack. This isn't some minor inconvenience."
Luse would present two pictures on the television screen before him. A side by side photo of both Tato and Takisomo of House Kōrudo.
"Those two that he just presented, were former Council Members of ours that met their end to the Blue Lighting. We lost people as well to this."
"It just doesn't make sense."
"Which is why we are trying to solve that very problem. We can continue to aid your Planet and add the necessary funds for your loss."
"The second thing we will do is, put a galactic bounty for his head. This time it would be personal from the PTO. So the reward would be well worth it. No one here in the PTO, would jeopardize the relationship we have together. After all, I aided your planet with the White Wolves."
The White Wolves Leader chipped in as well.
"I have known Council Member Aoi during his first year. He, along with Thaw, the leader of their house. Helped my group escape a near death experience."
Ismaul looked to the leader of the White Wolves, then at the others.
"Forgive me for acting so irrational."
"We all are under the stress of the situation that the Blue Lighting put us in."
"We will discuss further endeavors as we worked together."
The meeting was over and the White Wolves and the leader of Planet Wage, leaving the planet. Aoi sitting within his chamber and looked to Luse.
"We avoided a war between us and them."
"After these turn of events, Planet Wage will eventually be paying us greatly for this accusation. Increasing the tax would be the least we could do."
"That's right. Also tell me about this Blue Lighting Arcosian?"
"Truth be told, he was once the leader of a former House."
"Ah, I see, so his name is Kalt of House Kalt....but his House was disbanded fifty years ago..."
"That's right, and he was one of the few Houses that lived on Planet Frost in the Nomadic region. The reason he left was because of the death of his lover. He just couldn't continue to mentor anyone anymore after that. So he left and did his thing eliminating mercenary groups and joining them. Which is one of the reasons why we removed all records of his involvement with us. No one knows his existence and what he has done for the PTO except for a few people on the Board including myself. He is who we call to when we need certain situations to go into our favor. Though the amount he charges is insane."
"I see, no wonder that not even I knew about his existence.."
"Not many in the council know about it. If they do, its bits and pieces."
"Well, now I need to get back to my other assignments of the day."
"No need, we have one of the Maester coming to visit us."
"A Maester? Why would they come here?"
"The main reason is because of the new information we had received. Many mercenaries are joining together in order to attack the PTO. I will have Shanks escort you to the Chambers. He will brief you on everything."
The escort was made, with Shanking being by his side and somewhat taking the lead just a few steps.
"The Maester has specifically summoned you due to your vast knowledge on most of these mercenary factions."
"I see. I have done my fair share of learning about other factions. Which is why I'm not surprised."
"You may not know this but, I was once apart of the Golden HeartLions faction."
"Ah, I have always wondered why that faction disbanded. Based on official reports, the leader was killed and everyone went their separate ways."
"That's because I killed him. Not many know this and the reason was simple. He wanted to ultimate become like the Black Hand group and cause destruction. We have morals believe it or not. We all aren't monsters. One day he just took it too far and was going to kill a child."
"You guys were on the top of the list in terms of what mercenary group was the best. But that was five years ago."
"The times have changed."
"How did you become a royal elite guard for the PTO?"
"Rather simple really, they knew about my entire rap sheet and involvement with the mercenary group. They had put me on probation for six months to see if I would make the cut and I did. So they immediately gave me a special rank, along with the other two guys. Our main job is to defend the Citadel and the city. The reason why there is three of us, is cause we also each take care of the three districts of the city."
"Which district do you take care of?"
"The poor, I grew up in that environment so I know."
"You wouldn't know this but, I also grew up in that same district here. I only was given this position ultimately because I had risk my life in trying to save Thaw."
"Ah yes, I had heard those rumors. I even heard the rumors that your House is considered the lowest when it comes to the charts. But Thaw on the other hand isn't someone to mess with. Out of all the frostmen, he is the second most respected. The first being the Blue Lighting. Even though your House is considered the lowest on the charts, everyone respects that House the most because of the council members that had came from it."
"I try my best to represent my House the best way that I can."
"And I try to represent my position as best as we can. To maintain the order when Chaos is presented."
They had arrived to the chambers, Shanks opening the double doors and saying his goodbyes to Aoi with a simple nod and a pat on the back. The Maester had waited for him and standing on his podium.
"Its nice to finally meet Maester."
"Ah yes, it's an honor to finally meet you Aoi, your reputation in knowledge is truly remarkable." I need your help in acquiring specific knowledge from these certain mercenary groups. As a maester one would think that I would have knowledge when it comes to these things. However my main duty has been to know the knowledge of the PTO and this city."
"I will try my best to help."
"The Tunnel Snakes, The Junkyard Dogs, and The Wasp Whispers."
"A rather interesting bunch indeed. However all three of those mercenary groups are located in the Southern part of the Galaxy and all three of them live on Planet Swamps."
"Planet Swamps? But that planet has no life on it...."
"Which is why they have been on that Planet to avoid anyone from looking for them."
"But couldn't anybody just land on that Planet and go after them?"
"During my travels to that Planet, I have been on it. However this planet requires anyone and everyone to wear a mask and body suit in order to get on the planet. The poison fumes would kill anyone unless they are immune to it. That is the main reason why no one bothers with that planet. Furthermore. Those three factions were local thugs and troublemakers from off world planets not connected to our regions. But they have only made their names known due to living on Planet Swamp. The reason why they would be after us, is cause we were the ones who drove their gangs out of their home planets and into the only region that even we wouldn't enter, which is Planet Swamp."
"Should we be afraid of them?"
"I wouldn't be worried but then again, its been three years. So unless they have amassed some kind of army to combat against us or discovered a life form while living on that planet, I doubt they can take us."
"Based on our information, it will take them a few days to get here."
"I can devise a plan for our defenses. But it will take at least two days to come up with an appropriate plan."
"Well, I was going to notify the board about this..."
"Notifying them about it will convey to them that we can't handle a situation like this. They are interested in more dangerous factions rather than the small timers. I will handle this situation."
"Alright, I will trust your judgement."
The meeting was over, with Shanks still outside of the chambers and both he and Aoi walking side by side to the next area, which was the training grounds for the PTO.
"I was curious about our early discussion Aoi, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to the training grounds and help me teach the recruit soldiers on how to fight. From what I have heard, each council member is gifted in the art of fighting from the leader of their House."
"As much as that information is true, I haven't been in conflict for a very long time. Most of my time is spent in meeting rooms."
"I see, however I wanted them to meet you. Everyone has heard of you through the great halls of the Citadel and even the new recruits would love to meet you."
Now arriving to the training grounds, Aoi looked to the new recruits and their uniforms. Each of them giving him a proper salute.
"At ease gentlemen. It's an honor to be here to see the new fine soldiers that the PTO has to offer."
Shanks stepping forward and having his arms to his back.
"I need three volunteers to go up against Council Member Aoi."
After a few seconds, he picks his three best soldiers to go up against him. The three of them rush in a triangle formation in order to strike down Aoi. Aoi looking to his left, to see the soldier was about to strike his left cheek with a strong hook. He looked to his right to see one of the soldiers attempted to strike his lower right ribcage. Finally the one in the middle attempted to strike a haymaker above his head. Aoi was quick and nimble, first grabbing the fist of the soldier who tried to strike him on the left side, pulling him in and hurling him straight at the soldier to the right. With quick speed, the both of them collapsing on top of the other. Finally the last soldier's haymaker was easily dodged to the side, and immediately his throat was grabbed and he was raised to the air, only to be slammed down within seconds. The other soldiers were impressed and the fight was quickly over as it started.
"Rather impressing Aoi."
"Indeed, and before I leave I would like to instill this to all of you. Train every single day. Even though I haven't seen conflict in years, I do my best to train for it."
"Councilor Aoi has other matters to attend to. Thank you for coming."
With that, Aoi was off and while walking down the hallway, Luse had come around the corner in front of Aoi and immediately joined his side.
"How was the meeting with the Maester? I take it that all went well?"
"From the official reports, we have a few days until they arrive here. As far as what there intentions are is still up in the air."
"What did you tell the Maester?"
"I told him that I will be taking care of the situation and how we will go about it. The last thing we need is Planet Frost or any of the board members to find out that we couldn't stop something as small as this."
"As a board member that got transferred here. It is best for Planet Brenchian to handle the situation of any threat before getting them involved. If the Houses or their respective Council Members can't handle the situation, then the funding won't be coming in."
"I wanted to bring a council meeting with yourself and Yogan."
"What about the other council members?"
"Many of them are higher ups and go on voyages. They don't have time for situations like this. Since our main station for lower tier council members is to asset the situation since we are the ones with local intel information across this planet, we are the ones who handle local threats. Houses Thaw, Yogan, and Frostist are directly responsible to handle these situations. If we can't, we will be removed from our positions. The Frost clansmen that guide us through this, are also busy dealing with their own situations involving the other Houses which is why our council was formed in the first place. We are the lowest Houses on the charts, but we still get the biggest responsibilities."
"As a board member of Planet Frost, I never realized how much work you guys do over here."
"Everyone has there part in protecting this planet and the PTO."
Now arriving at the Chambers, Yogan joining them and now the three of them stand on their respective podiums.
"I got the message that this was urgent."
"It involves the invasion that will be taking place. The Tunnel Snakes, The Junkyard Dogs, and The Wasp Whispers. All at one point, was just low tier thugs and criminals."
"And why should we be afraid of them? We have an entire army."
"They have resided for the past years on Planet Swamp. An isolated region that has been cut off from the galaxy for quite sometime. Those who enter wear the uniform and breathing mask in order to survive. Based on the reports, they haven't worn the equipment."
"Should we be worried about them?"
