Everyone started off with introducing themselves and their skill sets. So far, it sounded like everyone had extensive abilities at their disposal... The Knight felt a bit out of her element here, but perhaps she could still contribute something that the group needed. " Atsuko Inoue. I'm a Martial Artist and a Knight, I'm used to surviving the harshest conditions in the wilderness. I can handle anything combat related, and I know how to clean and dress wounds even with bare minimum resources to work with." Still, it sounds like they had a solid plan to work with. A radar, mapping out their progress, and a means of moving forward that gives the greatest chance to not lose their orientation. They would likely have no landmarks to work with, and if whole rooms and hallways looked as though they were copied and pasted -- it'd be a little confusing. This preparation might have put them 'a little behind schedule', but it was also in the spirit of getting it right the first time, which would save them so much more time in the long run.
Unfortunately the idea of this being a safe room was soon tossed aside, as the sound of a loud rattling and hissing echoes from the side. Atsuko soon pin-points where the noise is coming from, and spots the red eyes. The Saiyan draws her blade and takes almost what looks like a test swing in the direction of the assumed enemy. However, nothing happens due to the range. " Hm. So magic and holy power don't work either." , she confirmed.
With that, she sheathes her sword and gives a nod as Ayami mentions picking up the pace and moving on. " Indeed. We know enough to begin moving forward. If that thing is chasing us, we'll want to keep a steady pace." Lambertia pointed out that door five seemed like a good starting point, and Ayami confirmed it with her radar. She began tinkering with the terminal after her explanation of the device. In light of that, Atsuko walks over to the door, and then turns to the rest of the group. " While Ayami works on getting the door open, I'm going to take the time to tell you all what to do in order to stay safe." She states with just enough sternness to her voice to catch their attention -- if they weren't already paying attention, anyway. " We can assume that there are going to be plenty of dangers moving forward. So we should stick together. Make sure to watch each other's backs. We'll be moving slowly so we can avoid any traps and pitfalls. If you see or hear something interesting or dangerous, alert the group." She begins the explanation of the general strategy. " If we run into any enemies, it's imperative that you do not try to rush them. Let the enemy come to us, so we can face them as a group. And so if there are any traps, they'll weaken our opponents instead of us." , she continues." Finally. Ayami and I will take point. I'm the most equipped for combat, and Ayami has the radar. We'll have to work together if we want to get out of this. So try to coordinate with each other to the best of your abilities. That means communicating your ideas and tactics too. If you have any questions, now is the time before we start moving. We'll want to be focused when we're on the move." She finished her speech, just hoping that it would be enough to keep the group's morale from dropping. This was basically Dungeoneering 101, but the tips should keep anything bad from happening. With that, she checks on Ayami's progress, seeing that the Elfen managed to crack her way into the system.
Hmm... So this thing held messages too? The Knight watched with intrigue. Titania Lambertia Ayami Vaelaria Akisei Dungeoneering 101: 1 - Stick together 2 - Watch each other's backs 3 - Watch out for traps and pitfalls 4 - Call out anything dangerous or interesting 5 - Let enemies come to you instead of rushing them 6 - Coordinate with the party

It was rather satisfying to hear some of the others confirm what she had pointed out to them, though that was all she had for them at the moment. Partly due tto her having only wonke barely a minute before and partly due to her having only woken a minute ago. She made a slightly puzzled face as that last thougth looped a few times, her mind taking a few moments after she’d made herself usefull to pull a few more braincells to consciousness.
Hearing Ayami introduce her she tuned and grinned at whoever she was speekign to, “Guess that’s your short for Lambertia.” She weighted it up againt the other names she’d been given. Wasn’t insulting though so she could wait till whatever this was hade come to a close. “Hi Ayami. I prefer Amber.” Might not wait though.
“If in doubt, follow the wind and it shall set ye free.” She quoted words form an old Nuada tribe saying. Never ones to be constrained or trapped Lambertia thought they might eb a good inspiration for this circumstance. “I don’t just look,” She was interrupted by the sounds form behind the large ventilation grill. Sratled she first took a step back but as soon as the red eyes backed away from it she approached the barrier. Giving herself most of her arms reach spacing form it sheee peered through it and tried to pull the light from within that space to try and ger a better look at whatever was there. Once that wa done she took a few steps back before turning and walking back towards Ayami and the door. “That sounds great Suko, I think you’ve got it there. We gotta be a pack to, do this this.” On her way she gave Atsuko a friendly nod and a wave, wordlessly acknowledging her assuming leadership “Sugestions? Hm, I think I have an idea. Suko, yea I think you should uh, ‘take point’ as you put it but I don’t think Ayami should be up front with you. IF the radar is important it should be behind the pathfinder.”
[ spot to put anything she found out about the creature so people can have heard it by their post ]

ACTIONS REWARDED
1.Kiara equipped the scrap sword, the 'damsel' can hit things harder!
2.Ayami hacked the terminal and uncovered useful information, with more information able to be downloaded for later use.
File Names:
The Experiment [Read] Lab Defense Routines [Admin Code Needed to Access Protocal] Titania? I Take It Back ?¿?¿?¿?¿ [File name and contents corrupted, must be restored]
3.Staying together is smart... easier to defend against threats [Effect of defensive maneuvers doubled while working with at least one other person, permanant]
4.Lamberita discovered the face of the beast!
The group was already making their moves. Introducing themselves, trying to gain influence and allies. Trying to find their way out in different ways. The Elfin made her way over to the vents to try and see what was inside, even using her powers to get a clear view. Unfournalty what she saw on the other side might just give her a fright. Om the other side was a massive pair of fangs and a long slithering tounge. When the mouth clapped back down she'd be able to see nust what they belonged to-a snake far bigger than than the norm, likely far bigger than people had seen on earth. Its entire body wasnt in view, but it was clealry much larger than could be seen through a vent. As The Elfin began to back away the snake finally caught sight of the girl and gave powerful hiss of rage as its fangs touched down on the vent, luckly very durable, but none the less a close call for her and those around, this would continue a few more times with the vents barely firm, before the snake began to slither away through the vents and pipes, attempting to find another way to its prey. It could be heard moving, albeit slowly over and under them.
How would the party react?
As for the computer Ayami acceseced? it would indeed give up quote a bit of information. Information relevant to their current situations. A port also opened that, if Ayami acted quickly would allow her to download anything she coudnt read right now given their... situation. Their were several messages within, all from this soldiers computer or, as the message would make clear.. a scientist, he was keeping his own journal to vent it seemed.
"I understand we must do all we can to protect our planet, but is this really ok? Getting the relivent DNA from a willing saiyan cost us several men. But we obtained it. I would not normally question the wisdom of our king, and on paper I can see how effective it would be... but it hasn't turned out right. That thing will not listen to our orders no matter how we try to tame it. If anything were only making it angrier and angrier. The creature keeps trying to blast it's way out, slam it's way out... bite it's way out. At this point I'm going to have to call it, whether it makes the king mad or not. Even his little favorite is agaisnt it all.
It has done nothing but absorb the worst aspects of a saiyan into its self. It wants nothing more to consume us, I can feel its killing intent. It wants to fight, fight and consume all in its path.
Mixing the Oozaru traits of a Saiyan with snakes.... what foolishness, I pray that the clean up crew doesnt have the same trouble as us.
I prey it's not able to get out of its cage.....
At least this place was built durable, the doors at least should offer them some means of escape if need be"
The message ended there, the remaining files ready to be read as well... if one didnt want to get out of drive with that situation they were in, the poor still sat ready, the connection displayed suggesting they woudnt take long to download.
The area shook once more with the force of the creature above. It seemed it was getting closer and closer... though it was also taking time. --------- Oh Kiara, such a riot, such a pleasure to see try and figure it out. Didn't think she had the skill did she? Well she had learned a lot in her years, that included binding her particular brand of ki. Of course she coudn't bind her OTHER skills but then she didnt really have to did she? She would ether have to conform to the test and use them smartly like everyone else, or not use them and rely on the others to protect her. She had no doubts the kai would survive if she needed to though, she was far more interested in the other participants here.
What was most intresting to her was how they would handle the various defenses this place had. But more than anything.
How they would handle the terrible beast within.
As the scientist had yet to answer her she would maintain herself with this... What would be their next move?

PL: Suppressed PL: 5 “Proctor Titania, is this report right?! Are you putting military candidates up against that freak experiment?!” Tsuki burst into the room, slamming the door against the wall. She was breathing heavily, a shocked look on her face. Tsuki was part of a special ops squad within the military. Which was handpicked by Titania herself. That didn’t mean she was afraid to speak her mind though, provided it was under the proper pretenses. She cleared her throat, giving Titania a quick salute. “I have an objection with you putting the trainees up against that creature. This is a training regiment more fit for an established military squad, not a trial for non-trained combatants to go up against. I firmly believe we should put them through a different exam. Or at a bare minimum, take the creature out from the equation.”

Kiara had no idea what to think of the Elfen who was now staring at her with a piercing gaze. Thanks to her, she had things she could call everyone in the room if she needed to. But the way the Elfen was looking at her was off-putting. She didn’t think she did anything that was suspicious? She instinctively took a step back.
She relaxed a little when Ayami started asking her a bunch of personal questions. She didn’t know what the pause from before was all about. Perhaps it was to process all those questions she was currently throwing at her. Kiara took a few steps back, then held out her hand and offered a shake.
“Um… I’m Kiara. I guess you can call crafts a specialty of mine. I did make the hairpin myself, yes.”
She gave the inventor a nervous smile. This person didn’t seem to be bothered by the dangerous environment that they were all in. She followed the strange girl over to the terminal, peering over her shoulder as she worked on it.
“You can hack military computers?! I really hope we don’t get in trouble for this. Er… more trouble than we’re already in. Also, what are puppies? Is that some kind of computer terminology?”
Kiara’s face paled as she read what Ayami had managed to uncover. She quickly dashed behind the others, keeping as much difference between herself and the opening where the creature was spotted as much as possible.
“Yes! I think the more experienced fighters here should take point! I’ll um… guard the rear! In case something else tries a sneak attack!”
Although she was projecting fear, the Kaioshin was in actuality angry right now. Akisei despised mortal scientists with a passion. They were the most likely people to cross the line that separated mortals and deities. The ones who viewed ethics at optional got a real special place in hells.
“The nerve of these mortals! To create a creature that only thrives on malice and hatred! They didn’t even make it fully sapient! This is why mortals shouldn’t try and create life. Whenever they try, they create creatures that are better off dead.”
Kiara "Guards the rear."

Ayami listened to Atsuko go over the basics of dungeon crawling as the elfen put the finishing touches on her terminal tinkering. She turned and gave the saiyan knight a thumbs up."Well put! Uh, I don't really have any particular objections to either spot. I don't mind taking point with 'Suko, but I guess Berty-Er, Amber has a good point too! If we lose this radar it's game over. Let's not mince words! I don't think I'll get lucky enough to find a second radar I can whip together! But don't worry, I'm used to juryrigging things, I can repair minor dents and dings on this thing as long as we keep running into scrap piles. So! Let's just hope there's nothing here that vaporizes, melts, eats, erodes, or fries radars."Ayami left her position up to the group to decide, it didn't particularly matter to her where she was as she could still do everything she needed to whether that was from the back of the group or the front. She also gave Lambertia a thumbs up and a wink as she acknowledged the light elfen's request to use Amber as a nickname rather than Berty. ... Personally the young mechanic much preferred "Berty" as it sounded cuter. But she wasn't going to argue! Besides, Amber had its own charms. The saying she used was curious though..."Follow the wind"...It was a good point, any place underground needed to vent to the outside somewhere, if there was a breeze then there was a chance of finding the place this labyrinth vented to."Hey I like that! Where'd you hear that from? Did you come up with it yourself?"As the elfen inventor tinkered with the computer she glanced back at Kiara, watching the strange girl who seemed to eye this terminal with great curiosity. Although her choice of words and panic over it was a bit...Odd. Even more so with that latter comment!"It's not really hacking so much as I'm taking advantage of a feature. Besides! Do you really think someone's gonna come all the way down here to punish us for using a computer?"She grins but continues speaking."A puppy is an infant canine. Have you...Ever seen a dog Kiara?"Her last words were spoken with a tone of utter confusion, it was understandable to be confused in this case considering dogs were a fairly common creature, more so their infant counterparts. Maybe - The elfen inventor assumed, if Kiara was from another planet that didn't have dogs then the lack of knowledge would be warranted, but as far as Ayami could tell, this was just a regular human being from Earth...Maybe Kiara was just sheltered? The young mechanic simply shrugged as the timid human insisted on taking the very back of the group."Alright Kia, but I don't think anything's gonna sneak up on us. Not after I finish doing what I'm doing!"As the message displayed Ayami stepped back and took it in, reading it with curiosity...So they had created some kind of snake fused with the genetics of an Oozaru? That...Wasn't good. Ayami simply whistled, still grinning happily."I guess the angry waterhose got out of his cage huh? Still...Genetic engineering? That's rad!!! A snake with all the power of an oozaru...This thing needs a name! How about "Orochi"? It rolls off the tongue pretty well!"Naming Orochi aside, there was some curious data still left here...And the terminal even opened a port for downloading said information. The elfen mechanic wastes no time and flips a tiny hatch in her goggles, pulling a cable out and extending it over to the download port, connecting the two together with a click. She downloaded every single file, even the corrupted ones. Once the terminal confirmed the data had been successfully transferred Ayami unplugged from the port and turned to look at the others!"Good news! I think I can uncorrupt those last files, but...It'll take some time. I've got a program built into my goggles specifically to rebuild any programs that become corrupted, although it's mostly for the onboard software...I think it will still fix these text files!"... Thaaat good news didn't last long unfortunately. Lambertia was the only one here who actually chased after the strange thing in the vents, and discovered something pretty ghastly...Although the elfen hadn't seen it herself, she could make a few guesses as to just what it was. She tapped through the various menus...The defense system program was interesting but unfortunately there was no way to access it right now. But there was one last thing Ayami had to do."Right uh...Seeing as that thing is hot on our tails, I'm gonna let all of you step through the door! Don't worry I'm not staying behind, you just won't want to be in this room when I finish."Ayami opened the terminal's face panel again, pulling it free from the frame. She began unplugging wires and replugging them in all the wrong slots...Although a careful eye could see that the water elfen wasn't just picking wires at random. She went for very specific ones. Finally with her job done she forced the terminal to reboot again and fit the screen back into place, securing it tightly. She brushed off her hands and stepped over the threshold, smiling at her fellow labyrinth explorers."Don't touch the terminal now. I've rewired it so that it's a ticking time bomb! As soon as someone tries to use it...BOOM! It's probably not gonna stop Orochi, but...It'll give him a nasty shock!"Ayami didn't make it very clear, but she certainly didn't want to stay in there longer than necessary. That was why she downloaded the remaining files instead of simply reading them out, they could be read through the UI of her goggles, and with that beast bearing down on them...There was no way staying behind was a good idea. Titania Akisei Atsuko Vaelaria LambertiaActions:1. Ayami downloaded the data from the terminal 2. Ayami began decrypting "?¿?¿?¿?¿"3. Ayami rewired the terminal to explode upon use.

The Saiyan listened intently as Lambertia spoke, already offering a suggestion. Mainly that whoever holds the radar should probably stay behind the one in front. The Knight ponders it over, and then nods. " You're right. That device is a lifeline for us. We can't risk it breaking." , the Albino Saiyan then looks over to Ayami. " Hope you don't mind me taking the lead. Just make sure you tell us which way we need to go." Fortunately, the young inventor was willing to go along with the adjusted plan. Atsuko looks over everyone in the group for a moment, making sure nothing else was being suggested. " Alright. It looks like we've got our plan." The more concerning aspect of all of this is when the Light Elfen investigated the vents and got quite the reaction out of that beast -- which the Saiyan could surmise was a giant snake from the sounds it was making. That did raise the question of how it got here and why. But Ayami was able to shed some light on this because of her investigations into that terminal. One word stood straight out to Atsuko; Oozaru.
Once more, she speaks up to gather the group's attention. " Alright. If that thing has the power of an Oozaru, we shouldn't try fighting it without every possible advantage on our side. Saiyans get a ten times increase to their power with it, so there's no telling exactly how strong that 'Orochi' is." , she explains, taking a cue from Ayami's name for it." Given the delayed reaction it had to Lambertia, I'm going to assume that it has poor eyesight, like most snakes. If we run into it, we'll prefer stealth over direct combat. If we come across any other threats here -- enemies or traps -- then there's a chance we can use them against that thing." Sure, this was all the most ideal to hope for. But one thing was for sure; fighting that thing head on was going to be suicidal. They needed to play it smart, especially if defeating it ultimately became necessary. They would have to wear it down over time while minimizing the risks to themselves." Agreed. We should set off now that we know what we're doing. Stick to the plan, everyone. We'll get through this just fine." , the Saiyan stated, and now made her way through the open door as per Ayami's instructions.
The first thing she did upon entering the new room is survey the surroundings. She kept her steps slow and careful when treading new ground, and tried to spot anything out of the ordinary on the floor, walls, and the ceiling. This would allow everyone else the opportunity to make their way inside safely, and wait for Ayami to finish up.
If anyone tried to go too far ahead, the Knight would gesture for them to hold on for a moment. If nothing seemed dangerous or out of place, then she would make another gesture for the group to start moving on -- with Atsuko naturally taking the front so that she could continue keeping an eye on their surroundings. Ayami Akisei Lambertia Vaelaria Titania Actions: 1 - Steps carefully into the new room. 2 - Surveys the surroundings carefully. Examining anything different or out of place in the floor, walls, and ceiling. 3 - Provided nothing stands out, she takes the lead -- she'll automatically adjust her path to whatever the radar says, as per Ayami's instructions

She smiled widely at Ayami for the point she made of correcting to her choice of nickname, letting her eye flash a little bit brighter and returning the hand gesture with a mirrored thumbs up.
“The Wind? Well I was in Loft and met these twins and…. I will tell you about that some other time.” She scratched the side of her head head and covered her eye while falling in step with the groups to leave the room. At the moment the concern that was literally biggest was that snake. She nodded as Atsuko discussed it. While she wasn’t sure what an Ozaru was exactly the explanation was succinct enough.
Reptiles of such size were a real problem to fight if they were of a mind to, and this one could become ten times stronger? They’d need every advantage they could get if they had to confront it. So with her hand over her eye she played around with eh visible light spectrum, practicing quickly with the visible light spectrum there, filtering till she could only see through that eye in dichromatic vision. Uncovering it she closed her other eye and looked around so she could get an idea of how it might see things. If she could get a grasp on it then she might be able to interfere with its vision. She’d walk around the group getting a look at each of them with this vision. What would be best, altering light as it reflects off the group, or flooding space with the light that snakes could see?
Stepping up next to Atsuko, but not ahead of she shared her idea“Atsuko, I think I can confuse it vision. If snakes on earth are anything like Hegemon. They can only see two colours. I might be able to use that against it. Maybe filter that off of us, focused it somewhere specific,” she gestured at the woman’s weapon, “Or maybe flood its eyes with light.”

"Be the chess player, not the chess piece" |
| Actions Rewarded! 1.Orochi took 50 damage from Ayami’s explosive! Health unknown, the creatures actions were temporarily delayed.
2.Ayami deciphered the corrupted files, information obtained!
[Weakness]Cold temperatures:Cold based attacks have show to have the greatest effect on the creature. Theirs a note about a weapon being made in the weapon development sector to combat the beast…
[Weakness]Light:At first we thought it had no effect, but that was simply because we did not know how to effectively use it. The beast can only see two colors, like any other snake. Because of that…. If one were able to manipulate how those colors were seen on the fly, it could be an effective means of distraction. Unfortunately we have not been able to make such a tool here… But snakes are mostly blind, if one could take it the rest of the way, the creature would only have it’s tongue to sense us. At least… that’s the hope.
[Strength]Poisonous:The creature is highly poisonous, though it is not fast acting, it will cause you great pain over time. Over time we were able to derive the ingredients needed for antidote, we have stored both the ingredients and how to prepare the antidote in the research sector.
[Strength]:It seems the Saiyan Ozuru traits we implanted inside it allowed it to manipulate ki, at least effectively enough for it to fire beams of energy from it’s mouth. Combined with it’s already fierce nature and deadly physical abilities… this is a deadly combo. We have asked [Error, date could not be recovered] to deploy a [data could not be recovered] to mitigate the effects of this blast with that in mind, we lost the entire medical district the first time it released that attack…
3.Atsuko's observations uncovered several alarm systems and cameras in use, though they don't seem to react to there presence at all....
As the group made their way past the door it would seal itself behind them. Given what was hurt next it would be none to soon as well. The sound of things falling, shattering on the other side of the door would alert them to the creature’s presence behind them, however the ingenuity of the water elfen bought the group more time as an explosion was also heard behind them, along with the pained hiss of their foe resounding through the halls.
The new room the group found themselves in once more contained multiple paths, labeled ‘Research Sector’ ‘Weapons Development’ and ‘Cafeteria’ Ayami’s radar would point them in the direction of the Cafeteria and given how strapped they were for time they might be tempted to go straight for the exit. But could one of the other rooms contain some needed advantage? Many options laid before them, but only so much time to decide on a course of action. Was it better to try and find items they could use to arm themselves? To learn more about what they faced? Perhaps they should split up and explore both… or simply ignore the distractions all together.
The choice was theirs, but no matter what path they chose it would all be the same. As they went further in fallen scientists and solders littered the ground. Some preserved by those that had remained, some given the best last respects they could, others having fought to the last simply lay there. Some had come to get rid of this monster… their fate was clear.
When the files finished decoding their information was laid bare. The file name was unraveled as ‘Head Researcher Final Log’ An old voice could be heard on the audio, addressing those listening.
”My name is Professor Kyros, and I accept responsibility for what has happened here. Those fallen are due to my selfishness, my ignorance of how the world works. I sought to play god, and this is my punishment. My colleagues struck down before my eyes, any coming to help meeting the same fate…. The beast as if mocking me has so far left me as the only one it has not killed, but who knows how long that will last. These poor people… it is too dangerous for anyone to even retrieve them so they can properly be laid to rest. I myself have placed this message on a former employees terminal close to the entrance… in the hope that the information contained within can be used too finally strike the creature down. Please… not for me, but those that have fallen… please end the abomination we have created… so they can finally know eternal rest. I will remain until I find a way to end this creature… or someone ends it themselves, ether way I am sure I will remain here for the rest of my days. So then, men and woman of tomorrow, please… Grant these fallen souls peace”
What came next was a set of weakness’ and strengths the creature possessed, laid out in order of effectiveness.
………………. Titania looked up from her tablet, catching sight of her ever-fateful companion Tsuki. She listened to what she had to say closely. It had merit of course, Tsuki was a knowledgeable and well-worn woman. She respected her opinion, but this was about more than what she could so easily see. This group was rather special, she could tell. It was the only way she knew to keep her word to a friend as well. The spirits down there needed to finally be allowed to rest.
”That is correct, Tsuki”
Unlike most who got her calculating look, or a fake smile, Tsuki got a genially warm one from the Procter. Perhaps it was only natural, they were close allies after all… friends.
”They could be among the ones we need, Tsuki, are you so eager for me to pull the plug? Given what is to come…. If they cannot even stop this beast….”
She paused, tapping her chin in thought, even now the smile did not leave her face. Those around would assume they simply meant the recent stir of chaos in the world. But they… meant something more.
”Kyros is still down there as well, you know? If this keeps up he could die as well… hmmm can I ask you to believe in me? I see something in them, you can trust my mind no?”
Hopefully, this time around……
