Ayami is cheerful. Someone with near-bottomless optimism who always tries to look at every situation in a positive light. She carries herself with the intent of always trying to make friends, even if some may react negatively to her friendly nature. Typically this results in her making connections easily, although other times her outgoing nature causes quite the opposite effect, annoying those who may be more reserved into avoiding her. Despite this however she always tries her best to make herself and those around her feel a little happier.
Standing as a polar opposite to her outward personality however is a hidden temper that she tries her best to keep under control. It is difficult to anger her, but when she gets angry... She's like a raging storm of anger shockingly removed from the friendly happy-go-lucky person she normally is. It is perhaps her greatest weakness; that she lets her emotions guide her rather than herself guiding her emotions. A trait that manifested from early childhood and has existed ever since. Her grandmother has taken to calling her "Little Tempest" due to her very destructive temper. Typically the only thing that can elicit this level of anger however are those that push others around, or those that cheat and take unfair shortcuts to get ahead. She has little patience for those that don't want to earn their place in life.
Aside from her temper, and her outgoing attitude she also has several interests she has kept up on for years: Martial Arts, Fishing, and Machines. Martial Arts being the greatest interest very VERY closely followed by machines and tinkering. Fishing is more of a relaxed pastime for her compared to the other two which drive her night and day towards several goals. She can sometimes be childish and naive due to a somewhat sheltered upbringing, though these flaws tend to be overshadowed by her strong heart in most situations, only coming out with the onset of her bad temper problems.

Ayami has a wide variety of outfits she wears, however there are two she wears the most often out of all of them; Her casual clothes and her battle jumpsuit. First off is her casual outfit. Clothing better fit for manual labor, she wears a dark gray tank top that ends at a pair of slightly baggy dark green jumpsuit pants; the upper half of the jumpsuit tends to be tied around her waist, however will sometimes be worn properly on colder days. Her hands are fitted with a variety of gloves depending on the situation, however most commonly she wears a pair of black finger-less gloves. On her feet she wears a pair of black striped calf-length socks and gray sneakers for day to day activities. However when involved in tasks that are more heavy-duty in nature she opts to replace those sneakers with a pair of black boots. Additionally, her casual outfit is sometimes paired with a black jacket depending on the weather.
Her Combat Jumpsuit is far more visually involved compared to her casual clothes. An outfit she wears when fighting because "I gotta put on a good show!". Here she wears a blue jumpsuit accented by white stripes across the entirety. A red harness is fitted tightly around her upper torso, and a toolbelt fitted loosely around her lower torso. On her hands she opts for gloves that are both better designed around grip and more tightly strapped onto her hands so that they won't become loose or off-center. Around her left leg is a small messenger bag strapped on carefully, and finally on her feet she wears a pair of lightweight steel boots designed for flexibility and defense alike.
No matter what outfit she wears, she is often also wearing a piece of red and brass headgear with attached goggles that assist in eye-sight by featuring adjustable magnification.
Her eyes are a deep ocean blue color that stands out compared to the average earthling's blue eye color. In truth this is due to her race of Elfen, however to her she simply believes it to be some kind of genetic "luck" and not a trait of her race. Her hair is a pale pink done in shoulder-length braids, with a part on the left side of her forehead. On the middle of her back just below the shoulder blades is a small tattoo of a chinese-style dragon surrounded by oceanic tidal waves, often concealed by her clothing however.
Her body is... For lack of a better word "Healthy". She has little fat, light muscle tone, and is somewhat taller than average for her age, all of these things in combination leading to her having a rather "Curvy" profile. Her chest fills out whatever shirt she wears nicely, and her stomach is semi-toned. Lacking any features of a "six pack" but still quite skin-tight.
History:
Family: Adopted Grandmother: Ayaka, Adopted Brother: Koji, Adopted Parents (Deceased), True Father: Aufei, True Mother: Tsuna, True Sister: Crystal
Home world: Earth
Starting planet: Earth
Home Town: Beansprout Island
Born on Hegemon in Age 1,237 to the Ice Elfen Aufei and the Water Elfen Tsuna, Ayami (Then called Mizumi) much like her elder sister was the result of a "Forbidden" relationship between members of opposite tribes. During this time period such relations were considered a punishable offense - Perhaps even worse given that Tsuna was the daughter of a Nammu tribe Elder. Fearing punishment not for themselves but for their new born daughter, Aufei and Tsuna began to look at alternatives - Ways to keep Mizumi safe. Sadly unlike what they had done for her sister Crystal, Mizumi was not born of the ice element. Living in Hyperborea would have resulted in an extremely punishing environment for her. Due to the laws, it was doubtful any other tribe would have accepted her either. Though the Fae were benign, they do not naturally reproduce and would scarcely have any clue on how to raise an Elfen infant.
Though Tsuna objected quite strongly, there was really only one option left to them. They had to find a better world, hopefully one that was accepting of her environmentally as this one was. They finally found one after a month of seeking all available information. A tiny blue planet very far beyond Hegemon. A world visitors from space called "Earth". Maybe this Earth would be the best place... With one last difficult goodbye, Aufei and Tsuna bid farewell to their child with the promise that one day, when Hegemon was a brighter world they would come find her again. Barely even five months old, Mizumi was sent to Earth aboard an autopilot space pod, leaving behind her true parents, and her true home world that she never knew.
Thankfully however the fears of her parents had not been realized; Earth truly was as peaceful as they had been told. The space pod landed softly in the ocean right next to a small village island. As luck would have it, this was a fishing village. Fishermen living there spotted the space pod drifting harmlessly in the sea and in an effort to rescue what they believed to be a stranded space traveler, took the space pod ashore with them. Rather than finding a seasoned space traveler however, the villagers found an infant with deep blue eyes and a message written in a language they couldn't understand. Though most of the villagers were unsure as to how to proceed, a couple decided to adopt her and raise her themselves. From then on Mizumi became known as "Ayami", named in honor of her adopted grandmother.
Though later on in her life, Ayami developed a love of martial arts while still at a very early age due in part to her Grandmother's ownership of a school - One that has become quite popular in recent years and drawn many fighters from a range of ages. And it was this wide variety of fighters that drew such a grand interest for her. As early as five years old, getting to meet so many different martial artists with such a diverse field of skill levels sparked an early interest not just in martial arts, or even just fighting, but in the ideals of martial artists: Honor, Flashy moves, and putting on a show for your fans. These are the things that drive her even today. This love of martial arts was only increased by watching the Tenkaichi Budokai every year it appeared on television. She became deeply enamored with the most famous female martial artist of the era: Mashera. Ayami's grandmother still teases her about her "First crush"...
At ten years of age she was finally allowed to train in martial arts under Ayaka. It took... A lot of practice before she adjusted. She was rather clumsy as a child and so it was several years of hard training before she gained the precision necessary to accurately perform most moves.
At thirteen years old she made her first real friend, a girl named Candence. Candence and Ayami bonded rather quickly over shared interests. And through her friend she gained an entirely new hobby: technology and invention. Through Candence's teaching Ayami quickly grasped a great understanding of tinkering with machines and creating new ones. It was this hobby that pushed her towards entirely new goals. Now she didn't just want to be a champion of martial arts. She wanted to create things that helped people, things that could help HER to give others an even better show, a legendary display of martial arts and showmanship that would never be forgotten.
It was that goal that drove her to improve leaps and bounds over the next few years... And the goal that eventually caused Candence and herself to grow apart before finally having a fight and going their separate ways. Fighting with Candence, letting her temper flare up and get the best of her... It's one of her greatest regrets, even today. A year after breaking off her friendship with Candence, Ayami's adopted parents died in an accident at sea. Her and her brother Koji went to live with their grandmother from then on. Underneath all that chipper attitude these two years still haunt her sometimes. So many doubts regarding what she could have done differently, or if she was ever even right about anything.
For some time Ayami simply locked herself away and focused on inventing, it was the only thing that kept her from doubting herself. But it was the words and support of her grandmother that eventually helped to push her out of her dark gloom. Finally she had realized that for all the bad that happened, she owed it to her friend and her parents to keep pushing towards her goals and never let anything get her down again. Soon enough she had returned to her cheerful optimism, this time with a renewed sense of purpose.
Finally, we arrive at the present. At the age of seventeen Ayami continues training under her grandmother, working towards new inventions every day, and keeping her eye out for the day she can finally win the Budokai Tenkaichi and become a great martial artist just like her heroes. She won't let anything get in her way! The future looks bright for this Elfen, no matter what she may have to face.

Element Infusion:
Natural born prodigies with the elements of existence, Elfen are capable of infusing their birth element into any ability they've trained themselves to use effectively. Any ability that has been mastered can have the "Elemental" tag applied to it for free, allowing an Elfen to visually and mechanically apply their element to all manner of techniques.
[Cannot be applied to "Special" Techniques such as Spirit Bomb, Mystic Form, etc.]
Force of Nature:
So deep is an Elfen's connection to nature that some claim they are capable of achieving a power far beyond their limits, a single technique that represents the most brutal storm, the greatest fires, the most scarring earthquakes, and the coldest of winters. When choosing Force of Nature, the user is given a special ability based on their element, one that is capable of being charged up to use 70% of one's power level in exchange for draining 80 points of their ki should they take the time to master it.

Roleplay Example:
It happens every night.
I see the same dream every night, but... It feels so real. Like maybe... It's not a dream at all.
Ayami opens her eyes slowly to find herself not lying in bed, but on top of what appears to be a massive mirror that stretches off beyond the horizon. The sky is clear with the bright sun overhead, but the color... Isn't quite the same. Rather than a pale blue, the sky here is instead a deeper shade of blue, almost as if it were dark outside paradoxically with the sun still looming overhead. She takes a few careful glances around the area, confusion overcoming her. After a moment to try and get her bearings, she gets up onto her feet, giving a sigh and shaking her head.
"Here again huh...Well I guess I might as well start walking. I wonder what this place is anyway?"
I always see him.
Someone I don't recognize... He always stands just far enough away that I can't make out anything about him. I don't know his name, or where he comes from. He always waves to me as if he's trying to get my attention - As if he has something to tell me.
"Hey! You again! Just... Stand still this time!"
Ayami begins sprinting towards the figure in the distance, but no matter how fast she runs, no matter how far she goes, they are always at the exact same distance they were at before. As if they were moving at exactly the same pace as her. But it should be impossible...They're not moving at all. She gives out several exasperated sighs as her stamina begins to fade, as she realizes once again the futility of trying to reach this person at the horizon. She slowly comes to a stop, bracing herself by placing her hands firmly against her knees, her lungs working hard to push out gasps of air.
"Okay... Y-You uh... You just stay there! I'll reach you eventually. This time I'll seriously, definitely..."
It happens every night.
I almost reach the man, I come so close... I can feel it. "If I just run a little farther I'll finally get to him". That's what it feels like...
But then it starts.
A deafening crackling sound rings out across the landscape as the mirror slowly begins showing massive damage all around. There is nothing that can be done to slow it down, there isn't anything one could do to prevent this to happen. It happens on time, as if it were a natural occurrence and not the actions of an individual seeking to destroy. As if the destruction of this mirror was an act of nature itself, a purging of the landscape to begin anew.
"... Damn... Looks like it won't be this time, huh? No... No I have to get to you! I have to know what you're saying to me! Please, just wait right there!!!"
She begins sprinting once more, this time out of desperation as the cracks in the mirror slowly catch up to her, moving at a far faster pace than her top running speed.
"No matter what I try to do...It always catches me. Even if I try to delay it, even if I just stand still and accept my fate, even if I try to jump away from it just in time... It always catches me in the end. I can only delay it, never stop it completely.
"No... Just a little farther! Damn this fragile world! Who the hell else would ever get sent to a place like this?!"
The cracks in the mirror finally catch her... And then quickly overtake her, extending off in the horizon like a lightning bolt across the surface of the pristine mirror. The figure in the distance extends his hand towards Ayami, as if to catch her, but it is far too late. The cracks slowly being to grow in size and depth before finally, the mirror shatters completely, everywhere from her point in the world to the farthest visible distance, the mirror is utterly obliterated, and beneath it a sea of deep dark water. Ayami falls downwards towards this water, reaching her hand out towards the figure on the horizon, desperately, vainly, hoping that they can catch her and stop her fall.
"I guess... I really can't reach you after all."
She lowers her hand, allowing herself to free fall straight into the endless ocean below. She lands with a loud splash as she quickly sinks downwards, the bottom seemingly invisible as there is nothing below but an abyss. She can do nothing but close her eyes and accept it. Strangely despite being an ocean of water, it doesn't act in all the same ways that an ocean would. The water doesn't cause things to become soaked in it. It isn't cold despite being deprived of light...It's warm.
It happens every night.
Is it really just a dream?
Is there some way I can change my fate and finally catch up to them? I can't move my body... I can't swim at all.
I always fall down for what feels like an eternity...
As the abyss grows, it is suddenly cut by a blinding light at the very bottom. This light doesn't consume the darkness above it, rather it sits below as if it were physical rather than a proper source of light. She helplessly, uncontrollably falls towards this light... And just as she finally reaches it, she reaches out towards it to try touching it, and in doing so the entire world is slowly bathed in this brilliant light before everything finally goes white.
It happens every night.
Ayami slowly opens her eyes once more. This time rather than waking up in a strange world that defies logic, she is in her own bed as the morning sunlight gently shines against her eyes, forcing her to shield them with a free hand. After a moment of waking up, she finally sits upright in her bed, looking around a little confused. Her body drenched in sweat as if she had a terrible nightmare. She can only vaguely recall the dream she had last night, large pieces of it missing as if it never happened to begin with. The morning light drowns away the night previous and gives rise to a new day.
"Ah...It was that dream again..."
