Disclaimer: This solo thread/post is about the interactions between Kosho and Koe, my two characters so far. For plot purposes, Kosho and Koe will have the same PL. Any transformations unlocked by one character are not unlocked for the other character (e.g. Kosho already has his Ikari no Jotai form, so he can transform into that, but if Koe hasn't unlocked her first transformation, she still can't transform into it). I sincerely hope you enjoy the interactions between the two.

Stumbling across the West City shopping district wasn't an accident in the slightest. This was carefully planned out, after Kosho had saved enough money to find some new Earth clothes. He took Detective Proudmoore's words to heart, and it all made sense regardless. If he didn't want to stand out too much on Earth, then it would be wise to purchase Earthling clothing so he could blend in more. He even brought it up with his superiors to see what they thought about it. Fortunately enough for him, they thought it would be a good idea to do so, as that would mean more undercover Saiyans, which could potentially mean a higher chance of catching the perpetrators who killed the Saiyan King off guard. It was a solid convenience. The only shortcoming Kosho still had was his tail, which he knew he would refuse to remove. Not only is it a way for him to get exponentially stronger just in case he needed the Oozaru transformation, but it was also a source of pride for Kosho. If he didn't have his tail, how would people immediately know he's a Saiyan? He's more than fine with hiding it for undercover's sake, but he wouldn't dare think of removing it.
My tail is my pride, it's a part of me. I'll be damned if I let myself or someone else remove my tail without a fight. Ain't no way!
Dropping from the sky into an alleyway next to a busy street, Kosho looked around before coming out. His tail wrapped around his waste, his Saiyan armor in full bravado, there wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind that he stuck out, and this Saiyan was looking to make himself not stand out as much. The man emerged from the alleyway and turned a corner, finally arriving into the shopping district. There was only one thing left to do: shop. He wasn't entirely sure how shopping worked here on Earth, but he guessed that he would figure it out along the way. He tried looking through many of the popular stores and brands, seeing just how affordable they were and how they looked on him.
A lot of the clothes that Kosho tried on, he never ended up buying. In fact, nothing really seemed to stand out to him. He didn't think he liked this style of Earth clothing, and figured it'd be better if next time, he came here with someone else to tell him what looked good on him and what didn't. Either way, a lot of this clothing didn't really fit him to his liking. Despite asking many people about the clothes, trying his best to socialize with the Earthlings to get his questions across, it all came in vain. It was rather disappointing, really. Sitting down on some bench outside, Kosho slumped down and sighed. He knew he had to keep trying, in order to find something, but it was all just very exhausting. Kosho looked around at the other Earthlings, looking at their different styles of clothing, different ways of dressing. Conforming to a different society's way of living was definitely hard. It wasn't something Kosho really wanted to do. The Saiyan from Patch lost a lot of his original motivation just this one day. However, it was necessary to keep on going. He already came this far, what's the point in giving up now?
Kosho stood up once more and pressed on again. Going through the same shops he was at before, going through different ones that people didn't recommend; anything that sold clothing was a place Kosho walked into. He was also immediately turned away from lingerie shops and female underwear outlets, as they knew immediately he was confused and didn't know where to shop for clothing. All this searching made Kosho end up stumbling upon a hut that showed off some weapons. There were swords stacked up on a stand outside, a mace, and a warhammer, along with what appeared to be a helmet with giant eyebrows. The man standing outside nodded to Kosho, who in turned nodded back. He was definitely there to make sure no one tried to steal the weapons, but this Saiyan was so exhausted and tired, he thought he was there to greet Kosho. After nodding back, the Saiyan reluctantly walked into the store to browse its wares. It was definitely a nice break, as it seemed to be some sort of martial arts store. There were different weapons around him, stacked on shelves, behind a desk for display, inside display cases. It was all very enticing and captivating. In the few seconds Kosho spent in this store so far, he found more fun than being in any of the other stores and outlets he was in before.
Breaking the mesmerizing silence Kosho was in, the clerk at the kiosk cleared his throat.
"Is there anything you're interesting in purchasing?"
Snapping out of it finally, Kosho looked up at the clerk, his face popping off the glass display case showing a pair of gauntlets. Immediately realizing that he probably made a mistake in coming to this store, the Saiyan stood up and apologized.
"Oh, uh, I'm sorry. I was looking around for clothing, but I guess you don't sell that stuff here. That's my bad."
To which the clerk responded with a chuckle.
"Nonsense! This is a martial arts store, right? What, do you think all martial artists walk around in every day clothing instead of clothes that are suited for the job? I mean, look at you. You're even wearing armor suitable for a warrior, so why shouldn't martial artists do the same?"
Kosho was astounded and excited once more as the clerk disappeared behind some curtains, a few short seconds later pulling out some light boxes filled with clothing.
The clerk opened one of the boxes to reveal clothing suitable for martial arts. It was pretty baggy, but looked light, extremely flexible, and comfortable to wear, even when doing rigorous activities. The man begun again, explaining what it was.
"This here's called a 'gi.' As a martial artist, you wanna be able to to wear something that's light, keeps your body as protected as possible, and is pretty flexible. You don't wanna have any restricted movements, and you definitely don't wanna be uncomfortable wearing it. That's why a lotta fighters out there wear gis like these when they fight. How about we try some of these on, see which ones you like?"
After browsing, trying on different sizes and colors, Kosho ended up deciding on a black gi, fit with yellow wristbands, a yellow undershirt, and a yellow belt. The shoes he ended up wearing were state-of-the-art combat boots, fit with straps that can be fastened tight enough so that they don't come off his feet. He settled with these and purchased a few more backups of these gis, just in case one or two of them get tattered or destroyed in battle. It's happened once before with his own armor, so he wouldn't be surprised. With that, Kosho left the store, happy with his purchase and somewhat excited. He'd finally got through his objective for the day.

The voices didn't stop, even on her day off. They kept on going on and on and on, about senseless things. Normally, she'd be throwing things at the wall right now, but because Koe was in public, she made all the effort she could not to even pay them any mind. It was the same old thing every day, anyway. How hard could ignoring them be? She has to deal with them for her whole life, so she might as well get used to it sooner rather than later. If only that were the case with the condition Koe had. Whatever, on to her original objective.
Snacks!
Guns!
Clothing!
Yes, no, and yes, all three of you are idiots, by the way.
Says the chick who's talking to herself in her head.
Technically, I'm not, so shut the hell up, Kuchi.
The shopping district in West City was essential. Yes, it wasn't in the city she lived in, but she figured she could deal with the loads she had to carry. Either that, or she could have them delivered to her address. Something along those lines. Either way, it would all be taken care of. Right now, she needed the essentials: some new clothes since she's bored of her old ones, groceries because she can't live on OTC medication alone, and not guns, because why the hell would she need a gun when she can shoot laser beams out of her hands? Besides, chances are she was a lot stronger than most humans, so using a gun on the people she arrests or investigates would only prove to be difficult and problematic.
Koe was a woman on a mission. She made every single effort to ignore everyone around her, in fear that it would just add on top of the voices she's hearing in her heads. Earphones in her ears, blasting some heavy rock music, the detective off-duty slid her way through the crowds, going through each and every store, purchasing only what she knew she needed. Whenever she had too much in her hands, she'd call a cab to deliver her goods to her house. She provided the driver with the address and gave them a tip before they went on their way. She was knocking off everything on her list, one after the other, with efficiency, not stopping anywhere to get distracted. To Koe, the longer she spent outside, the more she'd be hurting herself and inconveniencing herself.
Getting all of her shopping out of the way, Koe looked back at the shopping district, ready to walk away for the day and head home to spend the rest of it by herself, either reading or watching TV. Anything to keep her head at bay. As she turned away, her voices started poking at her.
Food would be nice right now.
No, not food, some kinda snack.
Ice cream.
Treat yourself, you deserve it.
Either that, or you could let us die from lack of ice cream.
The choice is yours.
Not really.
The voices kept on in her head for a few more seconds, pestering Koe for ice cream over and over again. Now that she was thinking about it, ice cream didn't sound bad at all in that specific moment. Maybe it was exactly what she wanted at that point in time, rather than the voices? At that point, it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered right then and there was ice cream. Choukaku entered the crowd again, her music still blasting in her ears, slithering her way through the traffic like a snake in Ultra Instinct. She finally arrived to an ice cream stand and felt relief. She didn't want to order anything too out of the ordinary, so she went with chocolate in a cup. She decided since it was such a nice day, it wouldn't kill her to eat at a peaceful spot. Again, she went through the crowds, finding her way to a bench alongside a part of the road where no one was really walking, plopped herself there and let herself enjoy the ice cream. Overall, this trip was seeming like it was worth it.

(Both)
She was finally finished treating herself. All that was left was for Koe to go home. Leaning back in the bench, Koe gazed up at the sky, and then immediately closed her eyes because the sun was in them.
So much for a relaxing look at the sky.
Scrunching her eyebrows and picking her head up again, Koe gave herself the motivation she needed to get out of the bench and stand up. Immediately afterwards, though, her voices stopped her in her tracks.
Wait, something's here.
Confused, Koe questioned her voices, unamused by her being stopped.
What? What're you talking about?
There's a very high energy level around us. It's very close by.
What, you mean among all these HUMANS? They're powerless compared to us.
This one's different. It doesn't feel human, and it's a lot stronger than humans.
Huh...?
...It's as strong as us. Maybe even a little stronger?
At that moment, Koe's eyes widened. This hadn't really happened before, except for one specific occasion. She was hoping it wasn't that dreaded individual, but if that was the case, the voices would have probably been saying his name. It wasn't him, then who could it have been? Who is it? Regardless, Koe started straight over to the area the voices directed her to. She made no effort of stopping, thinking things through, nothing of the sort. If it did turn out to be him, then she'll simply leave. It wasn't worth fighting him or even encountering him. Regardless, if someone was as strong as her and in the area, she couldn't necessarily ignore it. How could it be that someone as strong as her existed among these Earthlings? One thing was for sure, though, this thing wasn't human. At least, that's what the voices said. Playing back the pieces of the puzzle she already had in her head, Koe finally arrived to the energy source.
It was fast approaching. Something that was as strong as the Saiyan was pushing its way towards him, not even bothering to conceal their Ki. Confused, Kosho looked in the direction of the Ki, without moving, boxes in his arms.
How could this energy be coming at me so quickly and precisely...Ah, crap. I forgot to conceal my Ki. Oh, well, better just remember for next time.
Kosho braced himself, not really sure what he'd find. The energy signature felt a lot like the other Earthlings around this Saiyan from Patch, however, of course, it was a lot stronger than the rest. What could this possibly be? When the source of the energy finally showed itself through the crowd, Kosho was a little surprised (to say the least) to see a woman, shorter than him, standing right where the energy is coming from.
Koe wasn't sure of what to make of this encounter. There was a strange individual standing in front of her, in a black and yellow martial arts uniform, just holding some boxes, staring at her in just as much confusion as she was staring at him. His skin was darker than hers, and he wore a yellow headband. His hair was pretty spiky, too. Just who the hell was this? Closing in on him even more, Koe studied him until she was about a foot away from his body. It was an awkward closeness that Kosho wasn't really used to on encountering someone for the first time. Surprisingly enough, he was the one to break the silence.
"Um, is everything all right?"
Upon hearing this, Koe snapped out of her studious gaze and backed up a bit. It was then that she noticed he had a tail.
Okay, so what the hell? Is he one of those guys who used that animor...animal...whatever the hell that drug was?
Questions wouldn't be answered if they weren't asked in the first place. Koe cleared her throat and started interrogating Kosho.
"You don't seem like you're from around here. Or, at least you don't seem human."
"Well, I'm not an Earthling. Ya got that right."
"Some weird tail you got there."
"Where I come from, you'd be weird NOT to have one."
"Uh huh, really? And where exactly are you from?"
"You're gonna question me without even introducing yourself? Why are you even asking me these questions, anyway?"
"You should know the reason why. How the hell are you so strong? The energy you're giving off is a lot greater than literally everyone else here."
"Yeah, knew I shoulda hid my Ki."
"Your Ki? So, you know how to use that, too?"
"We wouldn't be talking here if one of us couldn't, would we?"
"Okay, smartass, how 'bout you answer my questions before I put you six feet under?"
"How 'bout you, at least, tell me who the hell you are? I thought that was common decency here on this planet."
"You talk as if you're not from here."
"I thought I told you I wasn't."
Both Koe and Kosho were getting upset at this trivial argument. Each sentence they spoke to each other fueled their annoyance and anger. It irritated them just to be around each other in that very moment. However, one thing was for certain, it did seem weird for Koe to be questioning Kosho without even telling him the reason why. He doesn't even know of her position. Sighing, Koe calmed herself down a bit, and complied.
Ah, screw it, clocking in officially right now.
"I'm Koe Choukaku. Detective Koe Choukaku. Easy to remember, right? You at least know what a detective it, don't you?"
Fortunately enough, yes, Kosho did know what a detective was, but he never bothered to mention that he had met one before in the past. This other detective was a lot different from the one the Saiyan encountered back then. What was this one's gimmick?
"Now, if you wouldn't mind answering my questions?"
Kosho sighed and dropped his shoulders a little.
"I'm a Saiyan, from Planet Patch. My name is Kosho."
Kosho? Kosho...where have I heard that befo-
A huge weight was just lifted off of Koe's brain and slapped right back down on top of it again. A connection was made, and anger was slowly seeping into Koe, for a reason she wasn't really sure why. The only thing she knew is that the presence of this individual that haunted her dreams that one night is here in front of her, and her voices somehow predicted it. There was some strange foretelling going on, and she wasn't liking it one bit.
"A Saiyan, huh? That must explain why you look so outta place here. What, with your tail and everything."
"Yeah, I get that a lot. Are you done asking questions, Detective Choukaku? I don't wanna keep you up too long."
"Please, just call me Koe. On the contrary, though, I'm pretty interesting in hearing about you, Kosho. Why are you here, on planet Earth instead of at Patch where you belong?"
Kosho was starting to get even more irritated.
"What, all of a sudden I'm not welcome here? I thought you were the guys who called us here for help."
"Help? What the hell do we need your help for?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to help protect your King. I sometimes forget most of you don't know what happened on my planet."
Koe laughed at Kosho, her arms crossed up and her eyes showing blood red frustration.
"And, tell me, why would we need help from someone who couldn't even keep their own King alive?"
A nerve was struck in Kosho, and his heart beat faster and faster. He was itching for a fight, but not out of excitement. He wanted to fight her out of pure anger, rage, irritation. His eyes grew angry and his aura started showing around him. Closing his eyes, he made an attempt to calm down, but to no avail. When he reopened them, his irises were yellow, and his pupils black. They darted right to Koe, embracing the death stare she was giving with Kosho's own.
"Where did you hear that from?"
At this point, Koe knew she was in too deep. She wasn't sure why she just said what she said. She took a gander, and remembered the thing about "the King is dead" that the voices kept saying to her. Why she worded it like that was purely a heat of the moment decision to see if it would piss off the Saiyan, or at least hurt him. However, now she gets the big picture. Also at this point, she realized why she was so irritated at him. This was the man who was mentioned in her dreams that one night. She had some other recurring nightmares about him, and because of the sleepless nights she had and the fear and frustration she was feeling, she didn't want to let him go unscathed. She was pissed that he was the reason why she couldn't sleep, and she wanted revenge. Smirking, she gave her answer.
"A little birdie told me."
To which Kosho responded almost immediately.
"That's bullshit! How come you guys have birds that can talk, but we don't?"
Immediately, confusion settled in on Koe, and her death stare transformed into a dumbfounded expression.
"What...no....That...that's just a figure of speech."
There were a few seconds of silence that embraced the two warriors. None of them said a thing, and neither of them changed emotions. Kosho stood there, too embarrassed to say or do anything after making a fool of himself like that. Koe did as well, too confused and surprised someone this clueless existed. She wondered for a brief moment what other expressions he didn't know about. However, that brief moment came to and end very soon. Kosho immediately dropped the boxes he was holding in his hands and channeled some Ki into his hand, tossing it straight at Koe as an attack. She barely blocked it, and returning to her pissed mood, the two warriors were about to engage in combat.
Ki blast after Ki blast was sent out in the densely populated area. If they continued fighting in this way, they would have brought harm to the citizens around them. Both Kosho and Koe caught on to this pretty quickly, and they took to the skies, dodging each other's attacks and making sure not to send them downwards towards the street. Knocking some Ki blasts away from him, Kosho roared and let his Ki flare around him in a brutal, hectic burst. Koe responded with the same, while charging some Ki in her hands. She held them out in front of her, aimed straight at Kosho, who seemed to be preparing something himself.
"Take this!"
Koe unleashed a Fritz Blaster straight for Kosho, traveling at him very quickly. After harnessing Ki into his hands, Kosho extended them outwards and took a deep breath in. Catching the attack, he used his Proud Stand to keep it in place for a little while, struggling a little to keep it at bay.
Damn, this might be one of the hardest fights I've had in a while. If Atsuko had this kinda strength when we first fought, I'd be defeated quickly.
Mustering up the strength he needed, Kosho let out a fierce yell and sent the red Ki blast flying upwards. He'd successfully deflected the attack, and Koe was left a little stunned and very irritated. Growling under her breath, the detective charged straight for the Saiyan, sending a punch straight to his face, which Kosho blocked by crossing his arms over his face. Thrusting his arms away from his body, Kosho knocked Koe off balance, brought his arm backward and attempted to send it straight towards her gut. However, his fist was met with an obstacle in the way. Right before he landed his punch, Koe formed an Energy Barrier around her body, stopping the fist right in its tracks. She smirked and decided to show off how confident she was.
"What's wrong? You seem kinda stuck."
The witty comment Koe was coming up with wasn't amusing to the Saiyan. His rage was just being fueled even more and more. His eyes flashed yellow and black once more for a brief moment, and once the barrier dropped, Kosho grabbed ahold of Koe's arm, turned around, and chucked her in that direction. To her surprise, he didn't waste a single moment in his assault. His next attack involved him drawing his arms in a circular motion from above him and below him. Afterwards, his hands lit up white and black. He definitely didn't teleport to her in that moment, but he moved really fast and it seemed that way to the detective. She was just barely caught off guard and almost took the full brunt of that attack. Crossing her arms the same way Kosho did, she blocked his two fists and was sent flying backward even more. The Saiyan didn't want to leave her alone for one moment, constantly wanting to be on the offensive. His eyes were back to black, but he was still feeling immense rage. His Ki flaring around him, Kosho charged straight for Koe again, sending his fist straight to her face. Beforehand, Koe got a little premonition from her voices.
Watch out for a jab to the face. He might try that.
As Kosho charged at her, Koe started seeing his attack unfold, his fist reeled back and ready to get sent to her face. The detective moved her head out of the way to dodge the punch and responded with her own Ki-laced punch, landing it right on Kosho's face. Reeling back a little, Kosho staggered, his eyes flashing from yellow and black to normal over and over again.
Koe's confidence started to soar in that moment, and decided to unleash the next part of her counterattack. Harnessing Ki into her hands once more she sent out a Tata Pummel onto Kosho, who was blocking every single attack. Getting tired of hiding behind his fists, though, Kosho harnessed his Ki and let it erupt around him in a loud yell.
"KIAH!"
Unleashing a Kiai sent Kosho's opponent spiraling backwards. When Koe looked in her opponent's location, she was surprised to see he wasn't there at all. Shocked, she tried looking around for him, but couldn't see him at all. The voices couldn't pick up on his Ki at all, either. Suddenly, she got a warning.
Behind you-
However, that warning was all too late. Next thing she knew, she had an elbow implanted deep into her back. She coughed up some spit from the impact of it, and Kosho had succeeded in his own counterattack. Surprisingly enough, the Saiyan was now smirking.
"Come on, you gotta do better than that!"
Koe struggled to come up with a response with the wind knocked out of her.
"Ack...you...assho-"
Not letting her a chance to catch her breath, Kosho sent another fist into her back, making her cough up more spit. Then, he kicked her away, which ironically enough gave her a chance to recover. Flipping to a halt, Koe turned back around and saw Kosho holding his arm out, harnessing green Ki into his hand. She responded in kind gritting her teeth and holding out both of her hands, charging up a red Ki beam. Once both of them had charged their attacks to their max, lightning briefly dancing around their hands, they both fired their attacks at the same time.
"Just shove it already!"
"Ouroboros!"
A green beam of Ki and a red one clashed with each other and collided, both struggling to stay relevant for their relatively short lifespan. Both fighters who launched the attack struggled to keep it alive as well. Groaning, gritting their teeth, pouring their Ki into their attacks, both Kosho and Koe tried to gain the upper hand in this Ki clash. However, the beams ended up exploding where they met as both fighters were evenly matched in strength. Koe huffed and puffed, hunched over and trying to catch her breath a little.
Dammit, we really are evenly matched. How the hell am I supposed to win this fight? It'll just end up in a tie.
When the dust settled and Kosho's figure was revealed behind it, the detective found a new fear in seeing his body. As scratched up as his face was, he didn't seem fatigued in the slightest after all the offensive attacks he unleashed. Koe's eyes widened at the sight of it
How the hell is he not tired at all? Does his Ki ever drain?
Kosho on the other hand noticed that Koe was trying to catch her breath a little. He could understand if it was because of the assault he just pulled on her, but at the same time, he nows she did have to use quite a bit of Ki to block his attacks and shoot that Ki beam at him.
We're both around the same level of power...no, I'd say we're both at the exact same level of power. Why does she seem a little exhausted right now, then? Does she not know how to control her own Ki well?
Being a Saiyan did have its perks, and at this point in time it was due to the fact that Kosho knew how to channel his Ki efficiently when on the offensive. His Ouroboros barely drained any Ki that time.
