You might be wondering? Why was Hono all the way in Satan City? Well, since she could fly, she decided to be a delivery driver of sorts. She could get from West City to Satan City in a respectable amount of time. Being able to deliver anywhere on the continent? It was good for business! It meant Avan could sell his food anywhere! Smart huh~ Hono didn't even mind it, she loved flying. It was fun seeing all the various landmarks! The girl was flying right above Satan City, pulling out her phone and looking exactly where she needed to meet the customer. A hungry businessman was awaiting his lunch.



Hono swiftly flew down to the park. Alright! The plastic bag was perfectly fine, Hono has dropped it on the way... more times then she'd like to admit. Her eyes would scan the park, it was a bit busy. Though it was easy to find the customer, the only man wearing a suit in a hot park, what a smart idea. The girl would approach him, "Alright! Here's your food!" Transferring the plastic bag over, the food was already prepaid, thank you modern technology!



"Thanks, missy, I'm starving, my wife and I ate at your restaurant when we visited West City, I was so surprised that you guys did delivery all the way out here, but I'm not complaining" Slipping into his jacket pocket, he would hand Hono a very generous tip. Hono didn't complain about it, simply bowing and slipping the money into her back pocket.



With that final delivery, she was off for the day! Said who? Says her of course! A bit of wondering, she would walk right past Detective Proundmoor, stopping at the vending machine, lemonade would be amazing right now! Quickly taking out her zenny, she would begin inserting her money into the machine. The machine seemed quite old, the usually bright colorful face was brown and faded. Hono would press the button, the machine rattled a bit. However... nothing dispensed.



The greatest pain of all! The vending machine stealing your money! Hono was clearly curious, she began to vigorously shake the machine. "COME ON! GIMMIE MY DRINK DAMN IT!" She shouted she would begin kicking the front, hoping her drink would soon come. She had slightly dented the machine!

Hono kept up with the shaking after her slight kick. She hadn't even noticed the notification from the machine. She wanted her lemonade damn it! However, she had noticed the machine had to spit her out a drink. Reaching into the hole, pulling out a can of cola. With a sigh, Hono would look back at the machine, "That's not what I wanted!" She would shout. Why was talking to an inanimate object? She was mad and had to let it out somehow.

She heard a voice, a bit of a mature one. She quickly turned to the detective and explained. "This piece of shit stole my money, I just want my lemonade!" However, she felt a bit dumb when she was pointed to the hud. "Oh-" She would extend the cola can out as if offering it to the lady. If she didn't accept, Hono would toss it in the trash can located right next to the machine.

"Martial arts school? Nah. I went out into the woods when I was little and just kinda trained myself self..." Who was this lady? Hono would go ahead and push a new button on the machine, Lemon-Lime soda would be good enough for her. The machine rattled, dropping out Hono's desired drink. Picking it from the hole, she'd crack it open and take a sip.

Hono would check her phone, sipping her soda a bit. She seemed to be focused on something else entirely. She was texting her dad, letting him know she was out and would be back for dinner. Slipping her phone back into her pocket. Hono had put in 10 Zeni into the machine, however, she didn't get her change, after pushing the coin return she would once again shake the machine... but nothing. Giving it one last shake.

She would then turn towards Nexus, she was writing something down. "It shows?! What does that mean?" She asks a bit offended. Hono would eye up the women, she was quite pretty. She didn't really look like the detective type. "Yeah, I'm 18 why?" she asks nonchalantly, focused on the cold soda in her hand.

Hono glanced down, grabbing the ticket, quickly examining it. "What... is this a joke?!" She said balling her fist up. "Give a citation to the owners of this machine for stealing my money!" She retaliated shaking the ticket, "What if I don't pay?!" She asks angrily. Hono hadn't said her name yet, so what was Nexus gonna do?

Nexus kept her arms crossed, looking at Hono that seemed rather upset by the ticket given to her. Yup, she knew this little girl was going to get fussy over a damn ticket. This was when she would point to a street camera simply staring at them from a distance. "You see that camera there," she would ask the woman. "That camera right now just identified who you are. It knows you, it knows me, it knows everyone that's native to this world. The government on this world knows all of us. If you refuse to pay for that ticket, it'll tell me who you are then I'll come find you and drag your ass in front of a judge. You'll be in big trouble by that point."

The woman gave a glare at Hono who still kept up her piss ass attitude. It was to be expected.

Suddenly, a small hand reached over and grabbed her jacket. It was almost like an instant when her arm was in her jacket about to pull out her weapon. To her surprise though it was simply a young saiyan boy who was obviously just very physical. The woman slowly sighed in relief and took her hand off the ki charged pistol. She wasn't going to shoot that boy just for surprising her. "Kid, you can't be sneaking up on me like that. You about have me a flipping heart attack," her voice seemed more lively for the boy. Nexus would be much more caring for kids then... yeah, older kids like this one. She'd look over at Hono afterwards and focus her attention on her.

"Tell you what.... If you go grab that soda out of the trash you just threw away and hand it over to me, I'll let you go with a warning and you can dispose your ticket," 

She was going to give Hono a second shot at this. If she was to grab the soda for her, she'd take it to the restaurant to where she ordered her food and have them wash that soda off for the boy. Yeah, she may seem like an asshole to some but she certainly cared for some people! 

Kabucha simply smiled at Nexus, entirely unaware of the sudden shock he gave her. He held onto the back of her jacket, simply watching the two women converse over things that absolutely went over his head. Not that he could be blamed for not knowing anything about the intricacies of law given his age.

He watched and listened curiously as Hono spoke to him, getting down to his level and looking him in the eyes. Blonde?

"Meee?"

He gave Hono a toothy grin, he was blonde so obviously in his mind she must have been talking about him! He definitely didn't know about adult things however... Oh but he WAS able to answer her question! In his...Own vague way.

"Mama's getting food!"

... Although that didn't exactly answer Hono's question. At all really. Although as could clearly be gleaned from his tone he wasn't in any distress over being lost at least. ... He was probably a little TOO trusting given he had just now met these two. But at least they clearly meant no harm to him. He watched as Hono grabbed the can from the trash, his eyes sparkly as he saw the shiny metal tin gleam in the sunlight. He didn't know what it was...But he knew he wanted it!

Almost as if on cue, right after Hono asked if the two should look for his parents, birds began to fly off in the surrounding area in a panic as a very loud distressed roar echoed out across the neighborhood.

"WHERE'S MY BABY?!"

... Thaaaat was his mother.

"No no! Not you. Her!" She would point directly at Nyx. Giving him a soft chuckle at his grin. He was so small and so cute! Hono couldn't help but smile back at the boy. Extending her hand, Hono would ruffle his little hair. So his mom was getting food and he just seemed to wander off. That was normal, it reminded of the time her little brother wandered off and her mom was in a panic. It was a bit sad but was a good memory. They were older now, so getting lost didn't really happen.

After being told she could void the ticket, Hono would ball it up, using her Ki to quickly burn the ticket. The ball turned a deep black before the ash was blown away in the wind. "Out of sight, out of mind" Hono would say with a slight smirk, rubbing her fingers together quickly to get rid of any ash that might have lingered. Hono wasn't gonna let this dick win this one! She had to retaliate!

"Good to know you're soft~ Cute and Soft huh~" Hono would tease her a bit. Next was the matter of finding the child's parent. They couldn't be far! She let Nyx take the lead, she was the officer and it was her job to handle situations like this. After just a moment, Hono's ears would ring after hearing a Banshee like a scream. Definitely the mother... Hono nodded at Nexus.

Hono would attempt to teach the boy not to run away. "Make sure to stay with your mom! If not you could get snatched up and eaten!" she would try and scare the kid, as a way to teach him! Definitely wasn't a good approach but, was she really wrong? He could have easily gotten snatched up.

"I'm not some delinquent you know! I have a little brother and sister, so I try to be a damn good role model" She would smile and chuckle. "You're not so bad you know?" Hono would complement the officer, a small smile filling her face. "If I ever need an officer I know who to call..."

Nexus saw her dispose that ticket which made her roll her eyes. 'Geez... She's more of a child then the actual kid here,' watching as the boy took the soda. It really did make Nexus feel a lot better that she made this boy's day. Watching him drink that soda put a huge smile on her face... That's something honestly the detective rarely does anyway. Smiling like how she was now at least.

Hono would come back with more slick comments to which she'd have the perfect response for her... "Yup, totally. I can write you a ticket for establishing a personal relationship with a law enforcement individual if you want..." Obviously a ticket like that doesn't exist but Hono doesn't need to know that fact! As they walked down the walkway a little, Hono was making some... stupid comments... Eating him up, and all that stupid stuff. Nexus gave her a stank eyed look, clearly not very amused for what she's telling this boy. However, the biggest comment came when she said 'damn'. Nexus's eyes widen as she went from being happy with this boy to being very pissed.

"Excuse me.... But you really need to watch what you say. I don't appreciate you speaking like that to this young boy..."

It didn't just help now that he just said the word himself... Nexus remained calm but gave the young brat a stern look, "When we find this young man's mother... You and I are going to have a very, very, veeery serious talk." Nexus has never been so dark ever... However, her voice became so grim. She was very pissed off with Hono. For someone who takes care of a younger sibling, she sure acts like a fucking degenerate in her opinion. Finally though, the mother was heard screaming and eventually she'd find them. Nexus changes her feelings now as the mother meets them.

It was very nice to see the woman united with her son. This honestly made the young detective sigh in relief as they were both together at last. The boy seemed confused and all to which it didn't seem to surprise his mom. Nexus guesses it's in his nature. Nexus warmly smiles, shaking her head. "Don't need you to repay me ma'am... It's simply my job to do this. No, no.. I actually enjoyed his company, he reminded me of something familiar..." to which that had her thinking about her childhood... At least some... good things about it. She was mostly adventurous herself. She really enjoyed going out and about when he father wasn't around. Obviously, he'd catch her at the end like this boy did with his mom but....

"Detective Proudmoore... It was a pleasure to help you and your son come together. A wonderful kid you got here, ma'am..."
