Impossible
The Herald of Hope, The Southern Supreme Kai
Profile:
[]
Character Name: Impossible
Nicknames: Impo
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Race: Kai
Age: 14,032
Birthdate: July Twenty Seventh, 12,71 years before Age
Personality:
Likes: Impo enjoys hanging around in the mortal realm. He enjoys watching over others from up close, rather than from afar. He doesn't mind getting his hands dirty every now and again.
He loves experiencing the sights and sounds of the mortal worlds. It's always so fascinating to witness how fast they change. Changing even from day to day, moment to moment. Nothing on the World of the Kai's moves even half as quickly.
Music is one of Impo's favorite things about mortals. Sure, the food they make is nice, but music? Songs can do say so much in so little time. It hooks you in with soothing sounds, or gets your blood pumping with powerful beats.
The feeling that brings him the most pleasure, is the feeling of helping someone, and receiving genuine thanks in return. He doesn't help the mortals for their praise and worship, but he wouldn't turn down feelings of gratitude.
Impo would have to admit, with a tad bit of guilt, that fighting is something he enjoys doing. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure for him, but getting his blood pumping in combat is like a wine wine for him; something he loves to indulge in, but not with much frequency. He prefers stronger opponents, but will hold himself down to the level of his opponents, if they are significantly weaker.
A fun little habit he picked up from the Fae is their love of pranks. A little mischief every now and again doesn't hurt, and he does love getting a rise out of people. So, every now and again, he likes to play a prank on someone, be it spooking them with a sneaky Kai Kai, or suddenly transforming objects into cheese, before turning it back. Harmless gags to annoy people.
Cheese. He loves cheese. In all his many years alive, he has never found a more delectable food. It goes together with so many other foods, it can be eaten by itself, it can be melted! Oh it's so good, he can't help himself when he smells it, he just goes to town on the dairy goodness.
Dislikes:
Impo doesn't really enjoy being alone. It's one of the reasons that he visits the moral worlds with such frequency. The World of the Kai's is so... dull. So filled with life, but the people there are so cold. They lack a certain life to them than Impo thrives on. He wants companionship from reactive people. He yearns for emotional beings to be around him, to be surrounded by kindness and love. He can't experience that like he does in the mortal realms. That's why his home no longer feels as such anymore.
War. They say it never changes. From what he's seen, he's inclined to agree. Hate, death, violence, bloodshed, all of it is something he loathes, and war wraps them all together in a hideous package. He loathes it all, but he also understands what happens when a Kai interferes in battles, when they take sides in wars.
Death is a sad thing. It is a cycle that keeps the worlds moving, fear of the other side to keep progress going at the pace it does. He knows that it is a necessity for the mortals, but he can't help but shed a tear sometimes. When witnessing the loved ones weep for those passing on, he gets emotional right along with them. When those who are passing alone, he often stays by their side as they fade unto the next life. When he's feeling generous, he sometimes gives people one more week, letting the ones still living just that little extra time to enjoy their loved ones.
If there's one thing he can't stand, is seeing mortals suffering. His goal in the mortal realms is to help and heal those in suffering. He goes from planet to planet, doing his part as a Kai to aid the mortals through whatever hardships they go through. He hates pointless suffering.
Killing. Above all else, he hates killing others. He knows his duties as a Kai, and knows that sometimes it's a must... but he loaths it above all else. Every life, not matter how fleeting, is precious. He strives to maintain the lives and happiness of mortals.
Strengths:
He would say his willingness to work with others, especially mortals, lets him work faster and more efficiently than the other Kai.
Weaknesses:
He hates to kill, and can hesitate when the moment requires it. He also tries not to take sides in large scale conflicts, making him slow to respond to violence.
Vices: He does enjoy some of the finer foods of the mortal worlds. Wine is something that he has a particular weakness for. Mix that with cheese, and oh boy. He also might have a particular weakness for pretty ladies. Only maybe.
[Impo is a kind and caring soul. He values life and happiness of mortals, and wants to be a part of their lives, despite not being one himself. He loves their culture far more than he does his own, in spite of their many flaws. In fact, he might love them because of their flaws. Perfection, to him, is a gross and nasty thing. Perfect is stagnant. Perfect is unchanging. Perfect is dull and boring. He loves mortals because they're so different from himself, and will protect them, even if it hurts him. Even if it cost him his own happiness, his own well being, his own reputation, he would sacrifice it all, to keep the mortal realm safe. He is easily swayed by his emotions, and can rush into situations foolhardily.
He often shows his emotions on his sleeve, not seeing a reason to hide himself behind a mask. He can get under people's skin, however. He likes to be joyful and happy, and can get confused when he takes something too far. He enjoys joking and teasing others, wanting to get a reaction out of them. Some mortals call this 'trolling'. He can be lazy when it comes to his other duties, getting too absorbed with the affairs of mortals, often spending a lifetime too long with some that he takes a particular liking to. He gets angry when he sees others being threatened, and will intervene when the situation calls for it. He tries to resolve things with peace and non-violence, but knows when to act as a Kai.
When acting as a Kai, he's generally not in the best of moods. He tends to be more irritable, grumpier, and downright wrathful when prompted. This is because the situation usually calls for it. He is not afraid to bring forth his might when required, and if he thinks it's for the best, will act swiftly and in a decisive manner. He usually avoids planets for a few decades when he does this, because of the shame he feels for doing so. He doesn't like being a Kai. If he had the chance, he'd probably wish to be a mortal. But he knows that would be a selfish wish. He can do more good as a Kai than if he were a human or something.]

[Impo is a Kai, standing six feet in height, putting him on the shorter end for the majority of races. This helps him be a less intimidating presence for the mortal worlds he visits, in spite of his title. His physical build is muscular, but not extremely so. Impo prefers to fight more with his magics, rather than with his body, so while he is very fit, he is not as well built as martial artists. Impo has forgone tattooing his body, not liking the thought of needles putting ink under his skin. He's also more than a little hesitant to how painful it sounds. He does have a few scars, however. On the upper half of his back, to the right of his spine, is a scar that seems to be from a stab wound. On his right arm is a trio of gash marks, clearly from claws. Lastly, he has another scar on his left thigh, one that looks like a blaster burn.
Impo usually creates a new set of clothing whenever he arrives on a planet, based on what he sees others wearing. He has his usual Kaioshin outfit memorized in his mind. He wears a black pair of those puffy pants, along with blue boots. His shirt is a white color, and his kaioshin outfit is a blue color, same as his boots, with purple as the highlights, along with gold buttons. He hates wearing this outfit, and will only wear it when he's back on the World of the Kai's, or doing Kai business. When he creates new outfits, he prefers using blues, whites, reds, and when he's feeling daring, green for his color pallet. He generally goes for clothing that covers his arms and legs, and has a fondness for hooded outfits. Makes him feel 'dark and mysterious'. The ladies love it, he's sure.]
History:
Family: None
Home world:
World of the Kai's
Starting planet: Earth
Home Town:
[Little over fourteen thousand years ago, on the world of the Kai's a fruit fell from a tree. This fruit was massive, and let out a wet crack, as it split against the ground. The fruit burst open, and a core person was out into the world. The person looked lost, as he began to weep. It was so cold here, compared to where he once was. He curled up into a ball, trying to retain some of that lost warmth, but just couldn't do it. He wept and wept, until his tearful cries caught the attention of a passerby. "Oh my, what's this?" A voice said aloud, catching the attention of the core person. They looked up, face stained with tears, red from exertion.
He looked on, as a woman stood above him, looking perplexed, as if he were a peculiar puzzle. "Your fruit wasn't supposed to drop for another century at least. Yet here you are. That should have been impossible." She said, rubbing her chin, confusion still evident on her face. The person on the ground was shaking, but had stopped crying. He was looking up at the woman in awe. This was the first person he had ever laid eyes upon, and couldn't stop staring. She was amazing. "Well, we can't leave you bawling on the ground. Let's go deary.[/color]" The woman helped him to his feet, and took him into the greater world.
Centuries passed by, and the core person was named Impossible. It was a funny joke for the Kai that found him, but Impossible didn't mind. As the years went by, he learned more and more, studying rigorously any materials he was given. He learned all that there was to being a Kai, did his best to be as studious as possible. But there was one subject that he he loved reading about more than any other. He loved reading about the mortal realms. They were so fascinating, even if he couldn't quite place his finger on why that was. He soaked in the information like a sponge, and couldn't stop fantasizing about them. Life that changed, not over the course of thousands of years, but centuries, decades, single digit years. He wanted to watch that, wanted to experience it for himself.
He was out one day, sparing with his teacher, before he got the nerve to ask the question. He blocked a punch from a taller man. "I wish to visit the one of the mortal worlds." He asked suddenly. This surprised his teacher, letting Impo score a lucky blow to the man's sternum, winding him. He put his hand up, calling for a time out, something Impo obliged. "Why in the world would you want to do that? Those worlds are disgusting, and far below beings like us. Rid yourself of such silly thoughts. You have more important things to worry about than what the mortals are up to."
This... was not the answer Impo had been expecting to receive. Being told no was one thing, that was fine. He wasn't some spoiled brat. But... something the about what his teacher said struck a cord in him. The casual dismissal of his interest in mortals wasn't something he was expecting. They were all potential Kai's, weren't they? He himself was training to become a Kaioshin. Shouldn't the Core People be more invested in the affairs of the mortals? Shouldn't he himself be experiencing what it's like and visiting worlds? A seed of doubt was planted that day.
As the years passed on, he tried harder to find the general opinion the Core People had for the Mortal Realms. What he heard had him worried, to say the least. Causal interest at best, and dismissal and contempt at worst. It would seem that his opinions on the mortals was an exception. Impo couldn't comprehend it. Were the mortals that bad? He only had books and second to third hand knowledge about them, so he really couldn't be sure. The seeds of doubt were blooming into frustration. How could he know the truth if he couldn't see for himself? All his teachers told him something similar, 'don't worry about it', or 'ah who cares'.
It all came to a head one day, when he was studying. He was distracted, and clearly thinking about something. He was zoned out, ignoring the words of his mentor. Impo felt a slam against the desk he was sitting at, finally paying attention to the teacher. "What has gotten into you lately Impossible? You haven't been yourself for the last decade. What's wrong?" He asked, concerned for his student's well being. He sighed, and avoided meeting the man's eye. "It's just... I can't get it out of my head. I want to see the mortal worlds!" He said, standing up, and looking the man dead in the eyes.
He could feel a powerful determination burning in him, one that he hasn't felt in a long while. He needed this, he could feel the desire burning in his blood. He wanted to see what the greater universe at large held, he couldn't stay confined to this planet any longer. The man before him didn't agree. He scoffed, dismissing his 'silly desire'. "Oh please, why would you want to do that-" Impo slammed his hands against the desk, cutting him off. "NO! I want this! I NEED this!" He told him, desperation leaking into his voice. His mentor just stared at him for a moment, before sighing. "Fine. Give me some time, and I can arrange a trip for us. In the meantime, focus on your studies."
A huge smile spread across his face, and he couldn't keep himself from laughing in delight. He was getting a chance to go. Finally! Now he could see for himself, learn for himself, what the mortal realm was like. It took the teacher over three years to get the approvals necessary to go, but was able to swing it, since Impo was a Kaioshin in training. He stood under a tree with his mentor holding his shoulder. The man had a frustrated look on his face, looking for a world to teleport to. Impo, for his part, was barely able to keep his excitement in check, distracting the mentor further. Five minutes go by, before the man tells him that he's found it. In an instant, they're teleported across time and space.
They arrive on a planet covered in plants, much like the world of the Kai's. He takes a step forward, before collapsing to the ground. Impo is panting for breath, as his power is reduced to twenty percent. He wasn't warned about this. "For some of us, we are stronger in Otherworld. Once we leave Otherworld, that strength goes away, leaving us much weaker. I am not one of those people, but clearly you are. This is a learning experience for you, so take your time and collect your bearings." He told Impo, an hint of 'I told you so' lacing his mentoring tones. Still, the Kaioshin in training didn't care. He was here, and he got to learn for himself.
The two began to traverse the world, learning that they were in a forest with a great humidity to it. Orange trees towered into the sky, covered with purple vines that hung beneath the canopy. Weird insectoids flew around, some ignoring the two of them, while others slapped against them. A few tried to bite them, but were too weak to break their otherworldly flesh. Impo heard the occasional slap from behind him, but was too fascinated by the world to pay it any mind. It was so interesting, that he couldn't contain himself any longer. He rushed a head, ignoring the cries from his teacher, and started to have fun.
He flew through the trees, exploring the world at a speed that most could only dream of. He found a large creature covered in fur, and had large fangs and claws. He looked at it as it hissed and growled at him, but was too scared to attack. Impo landed on the ground before it. "Hey there, my name is Impo! Who are you?" He said to it, ignoring the warning signs of its hostility. It gave one final growl, before lunging at Impo. He was shocked, but defended himself, blocking with his arm. If he had been his normal power, this probably would have worked. But he was weaker now, having forgotten already.
The predator tore into his arm, cutting three gashed into his forearm. Impo screamed in pain, clutching the wound in agony, flying up and away from the animal. The beast started to give chase, but was stopped. A beam of light crossed the area, before the trees, and the beast, were cut in two. He could only stare as the animal lay there, dying. It looked shocked, before the light faded from its eyes. He felt numb, even as his mentor started healing him, talking in his ear, but he couldn't hear it. He could only stare at the corpse of the animal.
"Why..." He muttered under his breath. The animal hurt him, sure. But that was his fault, not the animal's. And now, it was dead. He didn't want it dead, he didn't even blame it. It was his own foolish actions that got him hurt, and the creature died for it. An angry scowl spread across his face, before flying away from his mentor. "WHY DID YOU KILL IT!?" He roared in anger. The mentor was taken aback by this, probably having expected thanks for his deeds, not anger. Confusion was quickly replaced, his demeanor returning the anger in kind. "I just saved your life! You're welcome!" He yelled at his student, not understanding the problem.
And that was the problem, wasn't it? He didn't understand. "Who cares if I die!? I can come back, can't I? That was a mortal life you just cut down, and for what!? This?" He pointed to his half healed arm. "The fact that thing dared to strike you at all was all the justification I needed to cut it down!" He yelled back. "You are a Kaioshin in training, your life is more important than any animal, especially one that dares to harm you! It deserved to die!" He didn't say another word, as Impo leveled a finger at him. A glowing orb at the end of it. The air was tense, as if the planet could feel what was about to go down.
The air was electric for a few more seconds, before Impo closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He released his hold on the power, letting it fade away. "Just... take us back." He said, refusing to look at the man for another second. He wasn't willing to start a fight that might lead death. Not like this. The mentor said nothing, as he grabbed Impo's shoulder, before they were returned to the world of the Kai's.
After that day, Impo dedicated himself to training. He trained himself harder than ever, determined to be stronger. He had to be strong enough to prevent pointless deaths like that from happening again. He had to know better than to lead mortals to their deaths. He was a changed man after that day. The world of the Kai's felt... foreign to him. He hadn't spent much time on that planet, but it felt so much more alive than this planet. Uncontrolled life everywhere, fighting constantly to survive. There was no struggle here. There was no change. It all suddenly felt the same here. An endless cycle, where every day mirrored one another. It was dull. So when Impo finally got the chance to claim his spot as a Kaioshin, he took the the opportunity without hesitation. He wanted more of the mortal realms, and he refused to be confined to this afterlife any longer.]
Race Bonuses:
[Divine Potential:
The Kai are a race of near limitless potential. The energies bestowed upon them by the Otherworld grant them capabilities in a myriad of ways, as such those with this racial will receive a permanent x5 multiplier while in the Otherworld. This racial also comes with a secondary effect of which must be chosen at character creation:
Gift of the Creator:
While in the Mortal World, a kai with this racial may grant an ally a 10% boost to the PL used by their Techniques for three turns, once per thread.
]
Genesis Rebirth:
Though it often takes hard work on the part of Mortals to leave behind the Otherworld after their death, the Kais have no such difficulties. Whenever a kai dies with this racial, they may revive for free. As an additional secondary effect, those with this racial can grant a temporary revival to mortal allies that lasts for one real life week, after which the mortal player will return to the afterlife until they can revive properly. This secondary effect has a cool down of one real life month.]
Roleplay Example:
["Four hundred? Oh please, that's nothing to someone like me." Impo said to the mortal. Impo was currently on a dirty and dusty planet. Water was scarce here, and the dry season was a bad one, according to the alien elder. He was a vaguely humanoid creature, with four arms, and an orange pigment to his graying fur. His head was smooth and slender, looking more like a fox than anything. These people reminded him a lot of Earth creatures, but that wasn't a surprise to him. his mind always seemed to wander back to that place from some strange reason. Maybe it was the culture, maybe it was the people, but either way he couldn't wait to go back. Which brought his attention back to the situation at hand.
He had recently started a journey, hopping from planet to planet with his Kai Kai. He was about a century or so in to his little trip, when he found a group traversing a desert. Apparently his timing couldn't have been better, as they were running low on supplies. A group of four hundred, crossing a barren desert, looking for a paradise on the other side. It was a touching story, one that had moved the Kaioshin. He had flown in, right as they were about to set up camp for the night. According to the elder, it got deathly cold once the sun went down. Not surprising. He'd traversed a dozen or more planets that had something similar.
"Let me see what I can do. It'll take me a couple minutes, but I can make some supplies by the time morning comes along." He told the Canidae-like creature, before flying off into the sky. He got a lot of slack jaws staring up at him as he flew. He needed to be a little ways away from the mortals, just so their camp didn't get ruined. He flew at a a lazy pace, enjoying the cooling air. It was starting to get that crisp chill, as the sun dipped past the horizon. He wasn't as affected by the temperature as these mortal beings. Things like freezing to death stopped being an issue, when you woke up in otherworld when you died.
He stopped at what he assumed was a hundred feet in front of the caravan, before touching down. The ground was a rocky orange, with dusty dirt, or whatever this planet had in place of dirt. Maybe it was dirt, and more planets than just Earth had dirt? Oh, that's interesting! Still, it didn't matter for his power. He knelt down, placing his hand atop the 'dirt'. He closed his eyes, and let out a deep breath, as his power flowed through him. It moved through his arm like water, and into the ground. Suddenly, the lifeless ground stopped looking as lifeless. Like a miracle, plants began to grow from the ground. More and more, life began to sprout from the ground, as it began to overtake the orange desert.
Plants of all shapes and sizes burst forth, twisting and taking shapes that Impo could have never expected. A garden began to grow right underneath him, filled with life. He could hear the mutterings of excited people behind him. It wasn't quite dark out, so what he was doing could be seen by all of the mortals. He felt a sense of pride welling up in his chest, as a smile broke out across his face. The garden kept spreading, filling itself up with weird glowing fruits, and thin trees, that almost looked like giant carrots. It was fascinating. Every planet had different flora, often with vastly divergent ecosystems. Looking at all the strange and wondrous plants, he could safely say that none of them should have been able to grow together.
The garden spread, extending further and further into the distance. He stopped after a minute of growth, and took a step back. It was a think of beauty, in his own opinion. So many strange plants, some glowing, some moving, and some so weird that he couldn't describe it. He turned to face the mortals, who were watching in awe. He could feel the smile on his face, as he sensed the emotions of them all. Joy, relief, hunger, desire, all of them and so much more swirled around, like a decadent aroma. "This is my gift to you, mortals! Every plant in this garden is edible, and yours for the taking. Enjoy it!" He said joyfully, before a crowd swarmed past him. They partook in the garden, ripping it to pieces, not even waiting as they sunk their teeth into the fruits. Impo decided to travel with them, till they found this land that they yearned for. It took them roughly ten years, but eventually they reached the paradise they sought out all those years ago. Impo left them there, tears in his eyes, as he bid them farewell, as he headed off for the next planet.
Kitai... was in an annoying situation. He was currently sitting on the top of a building in the shopping center of Karakura. This specific building was one that he himself owned, aptly named as 'The Kitai Shop. It was a small little store, that was connected to several others in a long row of various stores. It had a simple white coat of paint, and didn't do much to stand out from the others, with the exception of a neon sign spelling his name in place of normal letters. An open sign sat on in his store window, but no one really stopped in. People were too busy, with no time to take a gander at his little run of the mill building.
The Saika sighed, as he watched the number of people roaming the streets begin to dwindle. It was getting close to that time of night, and all the places around the block were winding down. This was the fourth day in a row of no foot traffic, and it was really starting to get to him. Sure, his wares weren't exactly what most people were going to casually buy, but he'd been at least expecting something out here. There hasn't even been any wackos trying to shut him down! He sighed again, head in his hands. At this point, he'd probably get unlucky enough to be dragged back to... that place, before he made even a single sale.
It wasn't that his store was ugly or anything. The inside of his shop was immaculate, if he did say so himself. Each wall was a clean and bright shade of gunmetal grey. He had eight different glass countertops, each filled with his various wares and commodities. Sure, there was a glass barrier over the tops of the counters preventing people from getting over them, but that was standard for a store like his. After all, it was foolish for an arms dealer to be unprotected in his own store. Still, he made sure the glass was crystal clear! That had to count for something, didn't it?
The lunatic sighed once more, and decided to call it a day, making his way back inside. He'd taken only a few steps through the rooftop door, before he heard the entrance jingle go off. A large smile spread across his face at the sound. He nearly flew down the steps, hoping to possibly make a sale, or at the very least get the word of mouth going about his business. When he reached the front counter however, he was greeted with the sight of a nervous teenager, looking out the window, trying and failing to lock his front door. "Hello! Welcome to the Kitai shop!" He said in his most polite tone of voice, sounding much too eager in his greeting.
The young lady leapt nearly a foot off the ground, spinning in place to look at the Saika. She was quite the pretty young woman, around her late teens, early twenties. She was dressed in a pink kimono, that was torn in various places. If he had to guess, the tears were from grabbing, if the bunched up areas of fabric were anything to go by. Her hair was dark pink as well, with a little too much makeup, which was currently running down her face. She wasn't wearing any shoes, and had several scrapes on her toes, probably from running on the concrete when she wasn't used to running.
She was also shaking like a leaf on a sakura tree, and was as pale as a sheet of paper. She relaxed for a split second after realizing he was someone else, before rushing over to him. "Please! You have to hide me!" She begged him, still looking back through the front bay windows in fear. Kitai was still looking at the young woman with a slightly strained smile on his face. He was almost tempted to turn her away, but a thought quickly passed through his mind. "Sure! That'll be fifty ryo!" His grin didn't once waver. Kitai was a great many things, but he certainly wasn't someone who did charity work. She stared at him with her mouth gaping, visibly stunned. Clearly that hadn't been the response she had been expecting from the tall man.
"What!?" She practically screeched at the albino. He merely chuckled at her outraged expression. "Hey look, strange men looking for someone. I wonder who it is they're looking for?" He said, as he pointed to the front of the store. She recoiled, head spinning so fast, he almost thought he heard her neck snap. Without saying another word, she reached into her pocket, and shoved a fist full of money into a money deposit slot. He chuckled some more, before giving her access to his backrooms, which she quickly fled into.
Seeing the movement inside, the men outside made their way into his humble store. These men were dressed in a very flashy manner. Four men, each wearing three piece suits barged through the door. The first, and someone who was trying hard to look like the leader, was wearing a gold jacket and pants combo, with a red dress shirt, with black buttons and shoes. He looked very fancy, and dare he say, stylish? He was bald, with sunglasses at night, making quite the statement. A gold wrist watch on his right wrist, and hints of a large sleeve tattoo from his left, gave Kitai more than enough information to guess who he was dealing with.
The other men were dressed similarly to their boss, with obvious color variations. The three cronies wore a more traditional black overcoat and pants, with a blue dress shirt, with emerald green buttons. Wait, this was japan, so they might be jade? Something fancy, that was for sure. Each of them were bald as well, but with much more visible tattoos coming up their neckline, with one guy having a tiger on his face. Unlike their inkwork, they didn't look all that important. Which was sad, given how tough they were trying to appear.
They strode around with a bravado that most men lacked, walking around as if they owned the joint. Oh how fun it would be to tear them down a peg. They had their chests puffed out, shoulders squared, and clearly looking to give someone a bad time. And all with Kitai counting the money made from his first sale in a week. "Evening gentlemen! Lovely night out, isn't it?" He asked, not paying them more than a glancing stare. He was much more interested in eyeballing his semi-ill gotten money. Still, they approached his counter all the same.
A man in all gold slammed his fist against the glass barrier that the Lunatic was currently sat behind. "Where is she?" He asked, clearly not in the mood for any of the games that Kitai was eager to play. The store owner just gave him a cheeky smile. "That'll cost you three hundred ryo." He told him, seemingly betraying the girl in the back. The man glared, before looking at the glass divider. Given that this was a weapons shop, the gold man could tell that it was bulletproof. He snarled, before pulling out the money and gave it to him, just as the girl had.
It was quickly picked up, before the Lunatic answered him. "She's in the back." Kitai got up to open the door to behind the counter. The man smiled, before he and his associates started making their way past the Lunatic. The man stopped, however, as he felt something metallic press into his gut. "But unfortunately for you, I'm out of available rooms in my store. You'll have to try again tomorrow." The Yakuza looked down, only to see the barrel of a shotgun was now being pressed against his sternum. One that Kitai was currently holding.
The other three behind their leader quickly respond to the display of force in kind, pulling out their own firearms. They aimed at the grinning Saika as best they could, but it was hard to do with the cold covered man in the way. "Now, I've decided that my store is closed. I'll have to ask you to leave. Either on your own, or with some... help." He told them in a slightly sinister tone. There was a pregnant silence, as the tension in the air grew rapidly. He could see the Japanese mafioso begin to sweat, but given what was currently pressing against his stomach, he could be forgiven for doing so.
Still, he had quite the pair on him for staying this cool headed given the situation. The man held up his hand, a sign for his possy to stand down. They put away their guns, but looked more than ready to pull them back out at a moments notice. They were better than the Russian mafia, that was for sure. The golden boy, however, had the stones, to look him in the eye. "We can forget this ever happened, if you just give us the girl." He said without an hint of fear in his voice. A commendable feat, if he did say so himself. "I don't know how you've stayed out of our attention for so long, but an insult against the Golden Tigers isn't something we're going to overlook."
The bravery on the man was astounding. Just what did they do to these guys to make them so tough? Kitai would love to know. Still, for all his bravado, the Saika was unphased by his threat.
