[Thread PL: 100] [Kabucha's PL: 10 (Non-mechanical)] A bright sunny day in East City... The parks here were quite beautiful and cut off from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city, lacking a lot of the noise that normally comes with the territory of a place like this. Here in this park there were no sounds but those of nature; Bird song, the leaves of the trees rustling as a gentle breeze occasionally blew through, bees buzzing about... It was exactly the perfect pace for Sabine. Since it was her day off she decided to spend it here with her son somewhere where they could relax. After all, the adjustment to an entirely new world had been...Stressful at first. It wasn't anything out of bounds for her, but Earth culture was so much different from Patch, even the native saiyans were different in their own ways.Still... At least the sights were quite beautiful and serene at times. Even better, this park had just the right sized bench for what the saiyan commander wanted to do! She laid out a tablecloth over the top of the bench, setting a basket down on the side. She then proceeded to pull things out of the basket, one at a time. A tea set with four cups, a kettle, and a tray... A plate with freshly baked muffins stacked on top, and finally a dish with cubes of sugar placed in it. She took a step back, admiring the nice set up! It was perfect for a relaxing tea time. Although...She supposed she might have over-prepared. Kabucha certainly wasn't a fan of tea... Oh well! She smiled to herself, taking a seat at the now decorated bench, pouring herself a cup of tea as she simply listened to the calm silence around them in this park...There were others around of course, but they seemed to be as relaxed as the pair of patch saiyans were.Meanwhile little Kabucha was running all around the park carrying a little red toy airplane, occasionally spinning the propeller on the nose of the plane, he was making plenty of "NYOOOWWWWW" airplane noises as well as he raced around. he climbed over park benches and playground equipment, crawling underneath chairs and circling trees wildly, he even climbed up onto his mother's lap before stepping down on the other side, merely using her as a bridge in his adventures. Sabine calmly sipped at her tea, no worse for ware despite his rough-housing."Careful not to hurt yourself dear."She chuckled at the boy, simply keeping an eye on him to ensure he didn't wander too far off like last time she took her eyes off of him. Though...Part of Sabine did wish there were others to share this tea time with. Perhaps a friend or an ally. It would likely be strange were any Patch soldiers to see her like this, a commander simply spending a day relaxing rather than training, doing paper work, or planning? Now that was a sight to behold.

[Thread PL:80]
Cauri wasnt far off from this strange pair. One of them was fairly normal strength wise, nothing to look twice at. But the other? She felt even stronger than her! At least she did on paper, skill she supposed would be something else. But still when she sensed her energy from afar she felt the need to come here. She had every intent of challenging her to a duel when she got here but....
She was drinking tea!
That's all she was doing, sitting there with the child not far off from her playing with her. She didnt know the relation between the to... but the kid at least was a saiyan like her. But the woman was the main concern here! She had strength like that but she was... so passive! Didnt she want to fight anyone? Drinking tea like that was... really borning wasnt it??? How could she stand it!
But where was the young crane student? Why she was hidden cleverly behind the nearby light pole of course, just out of sight where no one could see her! Observing this.... well their was no way she could be a saiyan like the child right? Saiyans like her were fighters! Yep! She had seen quite a few already, and the Master told her how her parents were great fighters to! So this just had to be... a human, yeah that was it! But... even the humans she saw who were strong like that were because they liked fighting! So... what was up with this woman! How could she possibly be stronger than her? She had been training all her life dang it! This wasnt even remotely fair! No their was only one way to settle this!
Cauri came out from her totally secure hiding spot and pointing at the woman sipping her tea, when she came in range she pointed an accusing finger her way-callong out confidently.
"Hey you, blue hair lady! I wanna fight you! Like... right now!"
Yeah that was the only way... she had to know for sure what was going on here.... she wasnt about to accept that some girl drinking tea so casually was stronger!
...Yep she got right into a stance and everything... fully assuming the woman would accept.

Kosho Current PL: 70 Current Location: East City Speech/Thought Color: eede24 All right! Now, time to explore East City. East City was one of the major cities of Earth that he hadn't been to. He'd been to North and West, and now it was time for East. He'd get to South City eventually. Then, from there, he could practically go everywhere else. There was a lot of Earth he hadn't covered, yet, and he was itching to take that journey. Looking below him as he flew through the skies, he could see the land turning into urban city area. Smiling, Kosho proceeded to land onto the ground. Taking in the sight, the Saiyan walked around and took in the view. He was off duty this time, and despite being free, he wore his Saiyan armor, anyway. Nothing to patrol, no missions to go on. Nothing at all to do, and Kosho was not about to spend the whole time indoors when there was a whole planet to explore. Not to mention, there's still a lot of information he doesn't know about. How'd the King die? Who killed him? Is that person here on Earth? There were so many questions, yet so little time, and no leads at all, either. However, now wasn't the time to be hung up about that. Now, it's time to explore East City.
Or, so he thought. As Kosho walked around East City, he stumbled upon a park. It looked pretty nice, but that wasn't the reason why he decided to walk through it. From this park, he was able to sense two relatively high power levels in very close proximity of each other. Noticing these powers, Kosho had an itch to spar. These two could help his power reach new heights, and he wasn't about to let this opportunity go under his nose. Walking through the park, the Patch Saiyan eventually reached his destination. There they were: the two high power levels he'd sensed earlier. One was sitting on a bench, the higher power level. She seemed to be drinking some tea. A very docile and calm demeanor about her, contrasting what someone would normally think of an individual with a high power level. The other power level seemed to be challenging the higher power level. Kosho could hear it from where he was, and this was not something he was going to miss. There was also a kid there, whose power level was no where near the others'. Well, Kosho thought to himself, he IS a kid. I wouldn't really expect him to have an insanely high power level. Approaching the other two, Kosho waved to them and called out to them.
"If both of you don't mind, can I get in on this fight, too? I would love to go at it with people as strong as you two are." Upon approaching the two, Kosho noticed something familiar about the woman sitting on the bench. Now that he could get a closer look, he had a feeling that he knew the lady from somewhere. Very high power level. Seems to really enjoy tea. Has a son? Is that her son? Wait...I think I know someone who fits the bill... When Kosho finally put two and three together to make seven, he raised an eyebrow and asked one simple question to the lady sitting down. "Are you, by any chance, Commander...Sabine?" Kosho hadn't exactly seen Commander Sabine in person, but he definitely knew of her. If this was really her, he'd feel a little embarrassed talking about fighting her so randomly, especially on her break, too. At the same time, he was just even more excited if it was her.

As Cauri stepped out from her hiding spot to challenge the older saiyan woman, Sabine responded by... Taking another sip of tea. Meanwhile Kabucha ran around with his airplane as if the new saiyan weren't even here! Eventually though his path met with hers, the incoming sound of "Nyoooowwwww" was all Cauri heard before she would likely notice the boy running right towards her with an airplane in his hand! Though assuming she dodged it swiftly... He would instead pass her right by, his course aimed for the very next person to arrive! Poor Kosho had arrived just as Kabucha approached, and within seconds the "Nyoooowww" came to a stop as the airplane would - Unless halted with intervention, make impact with Kosho's tummy.
"ah."
Was the only sound Kabucha made as he realized his airplane had tragically crashed, bringing a swift end to the pilot onboard.
"Say 'Excuse me' when you bump into others dear."
Sabine calmly interjected, still sipping tea even as Cauri stood in front of her looking for a fight. She glanced over just as Cauri uttered the words "Hey blue lady! I wanna fight you!". It...Certainly gave Sabine pause. She reached up, grabbing a handful of her own locks of hair and taking a look at them. She went right back to sipping tea after Cauri's challenge was issued.
"It's my day off. Don't you ever want to just sit back and take in the scenery? Would you like some tea?"
She raised an eyebrow as Kosho immediately jumped in, wanting to get in on this fight as well. He wore imperial armor... Was he a soldier? Did he not recognize the officer's uniform? How curious...Though just as she thought that he began to piece things together, and eventually asked if she was a commander - Commander Sabine to be specific. She sat her tea cup down gently, giving him a nod.
"I am. Oh, but please, I'm off duty at the moment. There's no need to treat me with any sort of formality. Right now I'm not your superior."
She was a little confused...They were both saiyans. She could tell from the ki they gave off. It was natural for them to be hungry for a fight, but why her exactly? Certainly there were better options? She simply extended a hand towards them.
"Tea, either of you? I have muffins as well."
... The offer was likely to infuriate Cauri even further as the challenge was completely stunted by Sabine's counter offer for tea. Kosho on the other hand, Sabine assumed would probably be quite excited over the offer of food. She supposed there was likely no way to turn them away from a fight. If it was to be, then she would just have to appease the pair!

An intense moment would follow. The 'dangerous' object in the young boys hands was rapidly approaching her was this a test by the blue haired woman? Was she sending this child in order to test her relflexes?! that had to be it! Well she would show her! show her the training whe went through as a member of the Crane School!!! She jumped into the air (this action alone had already gotten her out of the planes path but....)
She then spun herself through the air and two the side a few inches away, striking a pose as she landed on her feet, ha ds on her hips with pride.... as the child likely just kept casually going by her. but! He wasnt the one she was trying to impress anyway nope! This other guy had sense come in trying to get in on her fight... so the only solution was to show she was the one most deserving of this confrontation! Yep-what other option could their possibly have been in this situation? But she... kept drinking tea. And was now casually asking questions of them as she did so.
"Nope of course not! I just wanna grow better and stronger, I'll make my parents proud by becoming as strong as I can, which means I have to beat the strongest people I can, people like you!"
She was then cut off as the woman instead spoke with the other person here. commander? Wait their attire wasnt really like what members of the earth military wore.
They were saiyans.....
Military saiyans.....
......
They were Imperial Saiyans!
.....Ok she could deal with beating them both up now!
This revelation combined with Sabine's completely putting aside her challenge would both cause Cauri's frustration to spike-her face reflecting the irritation she felt as she just became more and more annoyed.
"No I dont want any tea! I dont even like muffins, I want to beat you both up that's what I want! I'll show you dumb traditionalist saiyans... stuff! That I'm stronger! so stop with all the weird talk and fight!"
A certain master would be very not not pleased with her childishness....

Earth was certainly a very interesting planet, so far. There was a girl demanding a fight in front of Kosho, who reminded him a lot of himself, and another woman sitting on a bench, just having tea. Of course, we can't forget about the boy playing with the toy airplane. Out of nowhere, the girl standing up in front of the woman on the bench jumped into the air, spun in the air, and landed with her hands on her hips. It was almost as if she was trying to show off her athleticism, extremely proud in her slight maneuver. Kosho was sure the girl had her reasons, but it looked a little too much at the moment. Why...did she do all that? Immediately afterwards, Kosho looked down and saw the young boy coming right towards him with said airplane. "Woah!" Acting quickly, Kosho scooped the boy up, using the kid's momentum to turn himself around and put him back on the ground to keep running away from Kosho. I am the guardian of the airplane. Oh, crap, I hope I didn't make the lady upset for picking up her son! Laughing a little, Kosho scratched his head, showing that he didn't mind the situation. "That was close! It's okay. As long as the pilot isn't hurt, then it's all good."
Sure enough, the woman sitting down on the bench in front of Kosho, was in fact Commander Sabine. Before he could even react to her introduction, she told him that she wasn't his superior right now. She was off duty. However, her telling him this just confused him, a little bit. So...I guess I just call her Sabine, right? Kinda feels weird, having to call my Commander by just her name. Well, there's no use making a big deal about it. Thankfully enough, she told the soldier to relax. If not, he would have bowed to her and address her as "Commander Sabine" a lot. He may not be too familiar with the Earth hierarchy or Earth authorities, but the Saiyan authorities and patriarchy was a different story. "Then, Com- I mean, Sabine. It's nice to be able to meet you. I'm Kosho. I've heard some stories about you."
The woman standing next to Kosho and Sabine was obviously annoyed she wasn't getting her fight. As much as Kosho related to her, the situation right now didn't feel like a fight would start. He would be more than happy to spar with her for the time being, but just then, Sabine offered tea and muffins. Oh, hell yes, food! Though it might just be muffins, it was still food. Kneeling on the floor, Kosho graciously accepted the tea and muffins offered by his commander. With one hand, he popped muffins in his mouth. With the other, he tried his best to sip the tea, and not chug it down like a savage. He knew this much about tea: it would be a little rude to just chug it down like it was some power drink. The Saiyan looked to Sabine's son, watching over him and the airplane for a little bit. Then, he turned his attention to the other girl there, who was now very furious about something. It was about them being Traditionalist Saiyans.
Kosho would normally be really offended by what she was saying. Of course, that would usually be the case, but she seemed to pause a bit with her choice of words. Looking to Sabine real quick with a raised eyebrow, the Saiyan then looked back to the girl, swallowing the muffin in his mouth before talking. "Uh, I mean, I understand you wanna fight, but what did we do for you to want to beat us up? And what do you have against us Traditionalist Saiyans? I'm fine with having a friendly spar with you, too, but after I finish these muffins. They're surprisingly really good! Do you want one?" Standing up to face the girl, Kosho put the tea aside, thinking of a way to try and defuse the situation. Other than being Saiyans, the one other thing he figured the girl and him had in common was loving to fight. Maybe he'd be able to help in some way a little bit later, and maybe right now was actually the time for kindness instead of being hot headed. Of course, his pride was a little hurt, and if she kept provoking them like this, Kosho would just end up getting angry. "I'm Kosho. Uh, what's your name?"

Thanks to Kosho's intervention, the airplane and its pilots didn't meet a horrible fate. Kabucha continued on playing as though nothing happened, clearly appreciative of the assistance in his own...Child-like way. Sabine simply smiled and nodded at Kosho, recognizing the kind act he did for the boy. She certainly tried to keep Kabucha out of trouble, but unfortunately he never found trouble — It always finds him. But he was a boy... She supposed it was normal as long as he didn't bother others."Interesting."Was Sabine's only comment as Cauri swiftly dodged the airplane of a five year old boy in a display of clear mastery."Ah? I'm certain your parents are already quite proud of you. Miss... Miss..."Sabine paused, allowing Cauri the chance to introduce herself. She was certainly spontanious. Though she looked quite child-like too! The saiyan commander wondered for a moment just how old Cauri was before continuing to speak."There are many kinds of strengths madam. Fighting is a livelyhood for me, I'm...Not particularly interested in doing it on my day off. Though if you insist I could provide a few tips?"Sabine smiled once more and gave a polite bow to Kosho as he introduced himself. It was always interesting to speak with the soldiers of the empire without things like rank and ettiquette. It was a time where she could see what they were really like as people, not as soldiers. Though obviously she resoected the hierarchy of the empire, she didn't want to treat people as just their rank or their job. It was never that simple, and keeping that in perspective made it easier to protect them on the battlefield."Kosho, airplane master."Kabucha added, stopping next to the trio for only a moment before running off again."Yes it is quite nice to meet you, Kosho. I'm sure you've heard the stories, although I assure you I'm not...Nearly as interesting as those tales."Sabine laughed awkwardly, hoping not to bring up those stories. Whether it was about her actions on Kazak, or the way bandits feared her, these tales made her feel...Uncomfortable. Perhaps it was recieving recognition for things she views as her job and nothing more."No tea? Perhaps hot cocoa then? My son quite likes it so I packed a thermos full of it."Annnnd there it was. Cauri called them out for being traditionalist saiyans. And seemed pretty infuriated by this fact. From this fact Sabine realized that Cauri must have been an Earthbound Saiyan. The two different groups of saiyans had been at odds for centuries. She personally viewed them as belonging to the same race, and thus requiring no different treatment, but... They did have different cultures. "Ah, you must be a naturalist saiyan then. I understand the image we've given you of our Empire. But I assure you we aren't like the caricatures you might have seen. We aren't blinded by pride... ... Most of us anyway."Sabine attempted to diffuse the situation, but it was clear Cauri was set in her ways! Kosho Cauri

The older woman was was a Commander among the imperial saiyans it seemed. The other was a soldier under her it seemed. And now... he was casually joining her. This fact only further annoyed the young saiyan as she began flailing her arms in annoyance as the situation kept getting weird for her. They were saiyans. More than that they were IMPERIAL saiyans. They should love fighting even more than her! That's why she was sure, she had always been sure.
Imperial Saiyans were the ones that killed her parents
Master never told her or what specifically killed her mom and dad-only that it was a gigantic monster. A wild feral monster who tore apart everything in it path. That only fit two creatures she knew of. The giant dinosaur, namely T-Rex's that wandered earth. Or the giant monkey Oozaru-The transformation inherent to saiyan kind. Their was no way some pumped up dinos could have defeated her parents. Most of the earthling saiyans she knew ether took great pains to avoid the moon-or ether removed or didnt have a tail to begin with. That meant the only logical answer was that it was an Imperial Saiyans! All the ones she met were jerks, even when she was little! She had no problem believing one was evil enough or u caring enough to unleash such a beautiful, wild transformation without care. They were the most vile heartless people she knew!
And yet....
"Their both.... just snacking now...."
He asked what her problem was. That made Cauri's blood boil. Selfish selfish selfish! These ones mocked her all together differently than the others. The male simply wanted to put off the fight, and the woman simply had no intrest in fighting her. Was she took weak a rat for them? To weak a rat to step on?
"My problem is that your evil!"
She finally called out, tears in her eyes. she was certain she was right that she was fully willing to call out in this manner. It didnt help that they kept rejecting her (what she was seeing as rejection that is to say)
"People like you... are why mon and dad are dead so stop making a game out of this... stop it... stop it..."
It was hard for her to keep up her anger, not because it had lessened any-but because sadness was quickly taking its place as tears formed in her eyes.
"This is not a joke! stop treating it like a joke! I'm Cauri! do you hear me? Cauri!"
She finally answered the boys question but she remained upset. They treated it all like it was nothing. Causually offering her tea biscuits.. TIPS?! She had no desire for tips from people like her!
"Stop.... stop lying to me! stop all this... all of it! Get up, fight me! that's all I want!"
She was a mess at this point, her emotions washing over her. In her eyes these two were making fun of her. Of her pain, her sorrow! With every fiber of her being.....
She hated traditionalist saiyans

Even if it was just a small nod, Kosho felt more than honored to be practically praised by a higher up. It's not like it didn't happen before, but it wasn't something he was used to ever since the King fell. He never really gave himself praise since then, and his parents tried as they might to have him feel some sort of pride. Praise from comrades and equals was one thing, but praise from higher ups was another thing entirely. This made the Saiyan giddy inside, squealing like a mouse that outsmarted a trap and attained its precious cheese. This cheese he received was particularly savory, even if just for a moment. With a smile on his face, Kosho bowed back to Sabine, in a "it was nothing" kind of way.
After he'd introduced himself to the commander, her son made a comment to Kosho that made him the most excited person on the planet, for a brief moment. He was thus dubbed the "airplane master." AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HELL YES!!! Somehow, this filled the Saiyan with great joy. Being able to bond with another Saiyan, even though the child was so young, was something refreshing for the soldier. It was a connection he would make sure never to lose. Commander Sabine greeted Kosho officially, making a remark about the stories he'd probably heard about her. The Saiyan had a feeling that his superior was trying not to talk much about these stories. He couldn't see why; combat is probably the best thing to exist, next to or on top of eating. However, everyone's different. Maybe she didn't necessarily like these kinds of stories? Maybe she's trying to keep her dangerous side on the down low to keep enemies unsuspecting of her? It could be plenty of things. Nevertheless, Kosho went with his gut feeling for this. "Hey, don't downplay yourself like that, Commander- I mean, Sabine! I'll let you get away with that for now, but I'm sure you're a very interesting person!"
Sure enough, the Earthling Saiyan kept the insults coming. She was clearly frustrated, but that frustration was getting to Kosho, as well. His pride was being tested by this girl, who was yelling all kinds of things about the Patch Saiyans. How were they evil? What did they do? Now was the time to act on this girl's accusations. Unfortunately, before he could react, she did something else to stop Kosho right in his tracks: she was crying now. Tears were streaming down her face as she said something about her mom and dad being dead. This sight, it was conflicting. As much as his pride was telling him to accept her challenge and shut her up, his empathy was telling him that she shouldn't be pushed or harmed further than she seemed to be right now. It was infuriating, a Saiyan who was conflicted about fighting, a Saiyan who was debating on acting on emotion or pride. How they've fallen from their ancestors! As he stood there, gritting his teeth in confusion and frustration, a thought occurred to Kosho. His grip loosened, and as his face returned to normal, the Saiyan found a plan that should put an end to this girl's accusations and leave everyone satisfied, and with Kosho's pride saved.
"Okay, Cauri." Stepping up to right in front of Cauri's face, Kosho looked at the Earth Saiyan, determination in his eyes. He didn't flinch, didn't move an inch, didn't even put a hint of a threatening look on his face. The Patch Saiyan just looked at his counterpart, and with sound conviction, stated his next line. "Punch me in the face, right now." He didn't even bat an eye, didn't look in a different direction, nothing. Kosho was dead serious. He explained himself immediately afterwards. "I'm not gonna let you badmouth the Saiyans of Patch like that without even meeting all of them. I can't speak for all of us, but I know damn well that most of us aren't the assholes you make us out to be. As much as I'd wanna fight you, I don't think it's the best way to settle this, right now. You're obviously hurt, and I don't wanna risk you getting more hurt. So, to show you I'm dead serious about not being an evil prick from a different planet, I want you to punch me in the face as hard as you can. I'm not gonna defend against it, not gonna counter, I'm not gonna do shit." Pointing right to his cheek, Kosho smiled and chuckled a little bit, lightening up his mood a tad. "Come on. What kinda evil bastard would let you get a free shot at them and not do anything about it afterwards?" Dropping his hand to his side afterwards, Kosho stood up straight again, readying himself to get decked in the schnoz. "So, whenever you're ready. Hit me as hard as you can, right here, in my face."
OOC Fun fact: while I was typing this out, I actually forgot Sabine told Kosho to just call her Sabine, not Commander. I didn't realize I put "Commander" when Kosho was addressing her until after I'd typed out the whole sentence, so I went back and added "- I mean, Sabine!" Sooo, yeah lol, Kosho wasn't the only one who forgot.

Sabine smiled as she watched the two boys interact. It warmed her heart to see her son getting along with others like he did here. She always worried about Kabucha being able to make friends. Although Kosho was...Quite a bit older than her son, he seemed pretty respectable. She would certainly trust the saiyan soldier around her son.Although she shook her hands in nervous defiance as he stated that she didn't need to downplay herself. It wasn't necessarily that so much as...Her reputation tended to overshadow who she was as a person."O-Oh no no! I promise I'm quite confident in myself. But...Thank you. Your kind words mean a lot to me."She let his accidental naming slip by without bringing it up to him. It was an understandable thing that was hard to just...Drop. Imperial saiyans — Herself included put a lot of stock in hierarchy. She didn't feel it fair to "scold" him when he corrected himself. Although her attention was drawn away from the saiyan lad as Cauri was becoming audibly upset. And then Cauri dropped the bomb...Her parents were killed by imperials?"...Miss Cauri..."Sabine stood up.just as Kosho had, calmly approaching the younger saoyan girl."...No, Cauri."Sabine corrected herself. Now wasn't the time for "Miss" and fancy nicities. It was those things that caused Cauri to become so upset to begin with. In some ways it reminded Sabine of her late husband when he was a child. He took combat seriously enough to cry over it too...Sabine stepped forward calmly, wrapping her arms around Cauri and pulling her into a hug — Provided Cauri would allow it."There's no need for tears. If a fight is what you want most of all..."Again, if allowed Sabine would very gently pet Cauri, then step away, smiling at both Cauri and Kosho."... Then I suggest a fight, and a wager."Sabine tightly gripped the shoulder of her coat, and then tossed it aside with some force, causing it to catch with the wind and float harmlessly down into the park bench. She watched as Kosho spoke, offering to let Cauri hit him for free. It was a good thought, and a kindness that would mean a lot in any other situation ... But Sabine felt that it would be an insult to Cauri's honor as a saiyan not to give her the fight she wants so badly."If I win, you tell me more about your parents. If you win...You may claim your superiority above imperialists as you wish. And if Kosho here wins..."... Sabine stopped, looking confused as she looked over to the lad. She actually...Wasn't sure what he would want out of a wager."... He can have...Whatever it is he wants from you."Sabine took on a fighting stance, smiling at Cauri and waiting for her to prepare. The older saiyan woman hoped that this would go a long ways towards cheering the girl up. Cauri Kosho

Punch me in the face, right now
Cauri's hands tightened at her side at his words. What was he talking about? Of course they were monsters! Beasts and bastards who murdered... murdered her parents! She brought a gloved hand back and readied her punch. Easy, he was letting her. She could take him out right now with one solid hit to his chin. She could take some revenge for her parents! She could smash him to pieces right here... right now... she cocked her arm back, ready to strike out and....
Stopped
There's no need for tears. If a fight is what you want most of all...
Her arm remained in its position, shaking as both the saiyans words went through her head. Sabine offered her a fight. A fight to get everything settled. More than that, Sabine only wanted to know about her parents as a reward if she won the fight. Why? Why should she care? Why should it even cross her mind.
Punch him! punch them! She had to... had to for her parents. She had to make things right. She... She...
As students of the Crane we must maintain our control, your parents would be proud of your progress
She... had to crush....
My little dove, all saiyans have a bad rap, but you just have to remeber-none of us our defined by that past, none of us our defined by the actions a few take
"I...I...."
She fell to her knees, and her hands fell almost limply to her sides. Tears fell from her eyes. How could she forget? How could she become so blinded by revenge that she lost sight of the very lessons her parents and her mentor taught her. She almost let herself become no better than that beast. She was no better.
"No I... don't want to.. I'm... sorry"
Her face had a confused, lost expression on her face as she looked up at the two. She had gone from a mile a minute to put of gas just that fast. Then without much thought she said what Sabine had wanted to know.
"When I was a kid.. I went wandering into the woods at night. When I did... I saw the bright moon, it was so enrapturing and I just... fell asleep"
Her tears welled up and she shook her head, the emotions getting to her.
"But my parents found me, my master told me they saved me from a giant ape. They stopped it but they.. they.. died defeating it..."
She took a deep, tear filled gasp of breath as she finished the story.
"It was later that I learned that we took those forms... if we have a tail. But most of the saiyans on earth dont have or remove their tails so... it had to be one of the imperial saiyans, that's what I've always belived.. it had to be but i.. I dont... I dont..."
She didnt finish her sentence and soon she went complelty silent afterwards. She was so lost. Her nerve shattered so simply, by that simple act on their behalf.
Had she really.. almost destroyed her loved ones beliefs so readly...?

Getting on the good side of Sabine seemed like a random dream at first, but now it was becoming a reality for Kosho. He was happy, to say the least, that he wasn't necessarily making her uncomfortable in any way, shape, or form, and was pleased with the progress he was making. The soldier was finally making more friends on this planet, and with his own commander, nonetheless. Man, if only my parents heard about this! Not only that, but he was also getting along with her son quite well. Even if he was significantly younger than him, it'd be fun to be around the kid and see him grow. I COULD BE LIKE AN UNCLE OR SOMETHING TO HIM! HOLY HELL THIS IS AMAZING!! This Saiyan was probably too excited to become close with the young boy, but who could really blame him? Kosho had no siblings, no cousins worth noting that he hung out with, no nothing, except for his parents. This was something he could definitely only dream about.
Everything seemed to be getting very tense in this short amount of time. Watching Sabine throw off her coat was only something Kosho could describe as- OH, MY GOD, SO BADASS!!! I NEED A COAT SO I CAN DO THAT!! Maybe in the future, Kosho. You're not ready for a coat. Maybe a cloak? Anyway, there was no way Kosho was opposed to Sabine's offer at all. In reaction, he smirked and tightened his headband, preparing himself for a battle. That was true, though. What was it Kosho wanted? Thinking about it for a slight minute, he looked to Sabine and gave her his response. "I want her to punch me in the face...and become my sparring partner." However, before Kosho could exactly take a fighting stance, Cauri reacted in a way that he didn't expect.
Kosho watched as Cauri tightened her grip in her hands, and eventually reeled it back to punch him in the face. Oh, right, can't react to it. Keep standing still. That's exactly what he did. He didn't move an inch, his face didn't react at all. The Patch soldier became as solid and still as a boulder. He was confused, however, about why she didn't send her punch to him, yet. Her hand was reeled back and ready to go, but it just stayed right there. It didn't move an inch, just like he didn't. Kosho raised an eyebrow at this, now visibly confused, but he still didn't say anything. He didn't want to make the situation any worse than it already was. She began to speak, thankfully. However, that speaking was immediately followed by her dropping to her knees. At that moment, Kosho broke formation and staggered a bit. He didn't even know how to react in that given point in time.
Cauri was crying now, and she was very clearly saying she didn't want to fight and that she didn't want to punch Kosho in the face. The situation was defused now, but it wasn't a happier tone. A frown formed on Kosho's face, and his own body moved on its own. He knelt down next to Cauri, but didn't lay a hand on her. The Patch soldier didn't really know if it was right for him to do so. He wasn't exactly like Sabine who could just openly hug a person who is hurt, who is naturally docile and caring like her. At the same time, he wasn't someone who could just ignore someone in pain. "Hey, it's all right if you don't want to punch me or fight. We aren't gonna force you." Cauri's face was visibly confused and sad. There was no doubting that. At this very moment, the priority was her. Kosho wouldn't even dare do anything that would make her face even more confused or sad.
As he knelt down next to Cauri, Kosho listened to the story she had to tell them. It was about her past, about her parents' death. Kosho may have been a little slow on the uptake in certain aspects, but this was one thing he wasn't slow in the slightest about. He didn't want to say it out loud, and he wasn't going to either, but it sounded to Kosho like the scenario Carui described was in fact an accident brought up by her transformation. The soldier looked up to his commanding officer, his eyes full of concern and realization. If his look would communicate anything to the person it was directed to, it would be "should we tell her?" From what she's saying, it seems pretty obvious that she transformed into the Oozaru after looking at the moon. There's no other explanation, unless she was really sick or something at that point in time, but she doesn't tell us any of that. If she were to find out that she was the one who took her parents' lives, who knows what could happen here and now? Maybe, it's not such a good idea to tell her...but then what do we do?
Kosho sat down next to Cauri, his tail wagging a bit. He wanted to try and calm her down, so he decided to do something he was good at doing: complimenting. Or at least, as much as he could without being offensive or hurtful. "Well, one thing is for certain, your parents are badasses for going up against an Oozaru like that. They're extremely powerful, which only speaks wonders about how powerful your parents were. I wish I coulda been able to meet them." Kosho leaned back with his hands holding himself up, looking up to the sky as he looked for his next words. When he finally found them, he continued looking up to the sky, but his words were directed to Cauri. "I understand your situation, now. All I can really say is that I'm sorry to hear that about your parents. I'm sure that they're looking down at you and they're proud of you, even right now." For the final sentence, Kosho finally broke away from the sky and looked towards Cauri, flashing a friendly smile her way. Hopefully, he was able to calm her down a little more. Did I do good? Please don't tell me I made it worse.

Sabine listened to the girl's words of despair. The older saiyan woman watched as as she stood over Cauri like a silent vigil. Her words were piercing...They were harsh. "No I don't want to." ... Exactly what Sabine had thought came to pass. Cauri spoke of the moon. Of how she fell asleep and a giant beast soon killed her parents. ... Sabine locked eyes with Kosho. She knew exactly what all lf this meant. Like Kosho she was unsure of just what to say... ... But then she crouched down in front of Cauri, placing a firm but gentle hand on the saiyan girl's shoulder. Sabine didn't take her eyes off of Cauri's for even a second."Let me share a story with you. Of my past..."Sabine gave a sigh, her expression now was one that was...Melancholic. But she knew what she had to do. What she had to say."Years ago during a skirmish fought in order to fell a terrible warlord I...Had a moment of weakness. I watched as that self-same warlord murdered one of my very own soldiers before my eyes. He was...Only 16. I failed him because I was too weak. I failed his entire family."Sabine closed her eyes for only a moment as she fought back tears of her own. She couldn't cry in front of someone who needed her help. Not now, not ever. She opened her eyes and resumed speaking."I swore to myself on that day. I would never allow another person following me to die. I feel it is a sentiment you might share. You must listen to me Cauri. My next words are those that will make sense to you alone."The older saiyan woman gave Cauri a stare of determination. There was no doubt that she was sincere, for even a momentary gaze into her eyes showed the truth of her intentions."... The beast who killed your parents will return one day to face you. It is as inevitable as flower petals blowing away on the breeze. On that day you will be challenged. A challenge that will rend your soul and tear your body asunder. But if you wish to avenge your parents...You must grow stronger. Strong enough that this beast will never hurt another living soul again. It is a beast only you can face, no one else."Soon enough Sabine gave Cauri a small smile..."But you are a saiyan. Centuries of warrior blood lie within you. Stand proud, and do not let this coming destiny strike fear in your heart. Your parents...They will always be watching over you." Cauri Kosho

I want her to punch me in my face... and become my sparring partner
What was with this guy? What was with ether of them? Why were they so... nice? Every traditionalist she had met was a jerk, they thought they were better than the lowly earthling saiyans who had turned away from tradition. Why? Why were these two different? Why... Why were they nice?
They stopped her... from making a big mistake. Fighting for sport was fine. Fighting to prove yourself was fine, Heck fighting for fun was fine. But her parents never wanted her to raise her fists like saiyans had done in the past. Hurting others for yourself, for your own gratification.
She had almsot slipped away from what her parents had wanted for her. She had almsot sullied her families name... for a grudge. For the moat important grudge to her yes, the one she wanted to curb most of all... But it was still a hate filled grudge. Her parents... woudnt want that.
She hated the traditionalist saiyans for looking down on them, for judging them. Bit what had she been doing? Judging them just the same, not even trying to see the good one might posseses.
Kosho stood beside her, offering words of encouragement, even going as far as to praise her parents skill in the process. He wanted to meet them...?
......
"My parents were the strongest people I know... They were strongest physcilly... and strong of heart... your right.. hehe... thank you"
She offered a weak smile to Kosho, his words truly did make her feel better, it made her happy that someone could appricate the kind of people her parents were.
But... would the tg really be proud of her..? Even after she almost broke everything they stood for?
Sabine leaned over her and told her own tale. She didnt know why at first. But she got the point by the end. She did share the sentiment-Cauri didnt want anyone she cared about to die. She wanted to be able tot all to them, to have fun with them, to train with them... even just listen to music with them.
But it was Sabine's final words that made the most impact. At first the mention of the beast returning terrified her, despite her earlier resolve. After all she was nowhere near as strong as her parents had been. She didnt want that beast to take her sensei, or anyone else she had grown to care about!
But as Sabine continued talking that terror slowly turned to determination. When the older saiyan finished Cauri took a deep breath and smiled, fully now as she stood back to her feet, wiping the tears from her eyes. That determination showed bright in her face now.
"Then that's what I'll do... I'll get strong, strong enough to finish what my parents began... I will make them proud, I will make things right"
Yes that smile was burning bright, determination shining. To passerby it would be hard fo belief how engulfed by sadness she had been only moments before. But now a fire was lit inside her, she had no intention of slowing down!
And then she gave a bow.
"Thank you both.. for your words, your encoragement. I'm sorry I judged you so harhly... your nothing like the traditionalists I met in the past. Hehe... anyway I'll leave you to your food and tea now k?"
It was truthfully the only thing she could think to pay them back for what they had done for her-leave them in peace. And that was just what she would do if left to her own devices, going right to flying off to a new location if she was not stopped beforehand.
....She wasnt thinking at all about them wanting her to stay, Why would they want that anyway?
