This thread will cover Canon Techniques. Bear in mind, we're not trying to create an exhaustive list here. But we are going to give you notable examples. This is in the Rules section, because... No starting with Canon Techniques. New characters can start with any custom techniques you wish!
What is a "Canon Technique"? Well. To specify exactly what we mean, we don't mean things such as "Ki Sense" or "Flight". We mean signature moves that belong to major, named characters within the series. Examples include, but are not limited to: Kamehameha Spirit Bomb Kaioken Dragon Fist Galic Gun Big Bang Attack And so on. These are special techniques that are required to be learned within Roleplay. The criteria is, if it's something only that character displays, or only those within that special Martial Arts Style display... It's most likely not something you can start with. When in doubt, ask! You can have moves that can be SIMILAR to these techniques, however. There's only so much you can do with Ki Beams, Balls as well as punches and kicks after all. There are various means to learn these Canon Techniques, and we will roll them out as we see fit, or by popular demand.
Racial Techniques: Technique Name: Force of Nature Technique Type: Attack Attack Type: Elemental Level: 1 (0/20) Mastery Bonus: Enhanced Charging (Max Charge increased to 120%) Description: You must be an Elfen and select the "Force of Nature" Racial. Once that criteria is fulfilled, you reap the benefits of an Offensive Technique that has special charging: Level 1 - Tier 2 AND 3 Level 2 - Tier 4 and 5 Level 3 - Tier 6 (70% PL, 80 Ki Cost) Technique Name: Demonic Shapeshifting Technique Type: Defense Defense Type: Dodging Level: 1 (0/20) Mastery Bonus: Desperate Maneuver (Completely dodge an attack for 100 Ki) Description: You must be a Demon and select the "Demonic Shapeshifting" Racial. Once that criteria is fulfilled, you reap the benefits of a Defensive Technique that has special charging: Level 1 - Tier 2 AND 3 Level 2 - Tier 4 and 5 Level 3 - Tier 6 (70% PL, 80 Ki Cost) Technique Name: Kai Kai Technique Type: Utility Level: 1 (0/10) Mastery Bonus: Teleport another Character with you Description: This Technique is restricted to Kaioshins and Makaioshins ONLY. However, the Racial is not necessary to select. If you do not select the Racial, you may apply for this Technique. While increasing the level gives no immediate bonus, mastering it will allow you to teleport someone with you, provided they are willing.

Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: One-handed Kamehameha (Every charge of this technique is doubled) Description:The Signature technique of the Turtle School, an ability created by the School's founder. A technique representing the culmination of 50 years of effort. Many recognize this historically as the attack used by the legendary Son Goku to defeat many foes. [Must complete 10 threads with school master to unlock]Ability Name: Sleepy Boy Technique Ability Type: Attack Attack Type: Physical Level: 1 (0/20) [Please leave this as-is. Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: Sleight of Hand (Lowers the threshold for stun from 60% damage to 30% damage) Description:A technique created by the founder of the Turtle School, the user strikes their opponent with a wild flurry of hand motions and hums at a strange decibel, sometimes causing the target to fall asleep. (If 60% or more of this attack's damage hits the target, they will be stunned for one turn. The stun effect has a three turn cool down across all targets) [Must complete 5 threads with school master to unlock]Ability Name: Wolf Fang Fist Ability Type: Attack Attack Type: Physical Level: 1 (0/20) [Please leave this as-is. Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: Double-Strike (Each tier of attack uses 10% MORE of the user's Power level) Description:A technique that was evidently created by one of the students of the Turtle School. At some point in time it appears this technique was adopted by the school and taught to the other members. The user draws energy into their fists and lashes out at the target in a flurry of lightning fast strikes. [Must complete 3 threads with school master to unlock]

Crane School Ability Name: Dodon Ray Ability Type: Attack Attack Type: Beam Level: 1 (0/20) [Please leave this as-is. Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: Piercing Blow (Pierces 20% of the target's defense instead of 10%) Description:The Dodon Ray is the signature attack of the Crane School and the founder's answer to the Kamehameha taught by the Turtle School. It is a super concentrated beam of energy fired from the user's finger. This attack naturally pierces 10% of the target's defense. [Must complete five threads with the school master to unlock]Ability Name: Solar Flare Ability Type: Utility Level: 1 (0/20) [Please leave this as-is. Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: Eye Strain (In addition to the one turn stun, successful uses of this technique reduce the maximum PL output of all offensive techniques of the target by 10% for three turns) Description:A historically noteworthy technique developed by the Crane School and most famously used by the martial artist Tien Shinhan. The user draws their hands to their head and utters the name of the technique, causing a burst of blinding white light that can blind even the most powerful of foes. (Technique can be used once every five turns to stun a single target for one turn.) [Must complete three threads with the school master to unlock]Ability Name: Tri-Beam Ability Type: Attack Attack Type: Beam Level: 1 (0/20) [Please leave this as-is. Staff will handle this for you.] Mastery Bonus: Extreme Focus (The user can choose to expend 25 points from their ki pool to reduce health drain by 20%) Description:One of the most dangerous techniques used by Earth's martial artists, and the most infamous technique of the Crane School. Tri-beam consumes the user's life energy rather than their ki, a fact that can very well kill those who misuse this technique with reckless abandon. It is performed by forming a diamond shape with their hands aimed in front of them and then shouting the technique's name. (This technique draws from the user's hp rather than their ki pool. For each level the hp drain is reduced. Level 1: Tier 2: 35% of the user's HP Tier 3: 40% of the user's HP Tier 4: 55% of the user's HP Tier 5: 65% of the user's HP Level 2: Tier 2: 30% of the user's HP Tier 3: 35% of the user's HP Tier 4: 50% of the user's HP Tier 5: 60% of the user's HP Level 3: Tier 2: 25% of the user's HP Tier 3: 30% of the user's HP Tier 4: 40% of the user's HP Tier 5: 50% of the user's HP) [Must complete 10 threads with the school master to unlock]
