Koe Choukaku PL: 100 Current Location: Satan City Time: 11:00 AM
The silent buzzing of faint voices in her head as all Koe was hearing at this point in time. Last night sucked for her, and the pain from her headache was putting her through so much agony, she had a tough time falling asleep. When she finally did fall asleep, it was about two in the morning, and she already had been trying to go to sleep for three hours. Now, her alarm said 8:59 AM. In just a few moments, it turned to 9:00 AM, and her alarm went off. ♫ Every day I wake up ♫ ♫ Every day I wake up alone ♫ - - - - - - - - ♫ Every day I wa- ♫ Koe interrupted the alarm clock, slamming her hand onto it to turn it off. She paused for a little bit, then looked at her alarm clock to see the time. If it weren't for her damn headache, she would be fine with waking up right now. Instead, Koe let out an exasperated groan and planted her face back into her pillow, followed by comments from her voices. "Rise and shine." "It's time to make the donuts." "Work, work, work, work." Now, Koe was mildly aggravated, turning over again, she looked straight up to her ceiling and groaned again. In her tone, she didn't even bother to hide the fact that she was irritated. "Fine. I'm awake. Fuckin'...stupid headache!"
When she finally got out of bed, all the voices in Koe's head barked different orders at her, all ranging from brushing her teeth, to getting dressed, to heading to work. All of which she ignored and took her own initiative to start the day. After setting coffee to brew, Koe went straight to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Staring at her reflection in the mirror only made her even more irritated, since behind her face, she can see the voices. Hearing them became all the more intolerable in that short amount of time. She then got dressed in her usual hoodie vest, grey V-neck, jeans, and black fur combat boots. Her breakfast consisted of coffee, some toast, some eggs, and painkillers. Looking at the bottle, Koe interrogated herself about the usage of this with coffee. Is it safe to take these with coffee?...It doesn't say I can't. Screw it, bottoms up! Immediately afterwards, the cop popped the pills into her mouth and drowned them in coffee. Once she finished her breakfast, she set out to work, without even her fur coat.
Koe's job today involved her roaming around Satan City, searching for any criminal activity. With her hands in her pockets, she walked around the city, scanning the area for individuals suspicious enough to be a criminal. "Is wearing that much makeup considered a serious offense to society? Otherwise, I don't think she's a threat." "I'm pretty sure that's a 'he.'" "Nah, no way. Are you assuming his gender?" "Are you?" "Do you think if we provoke any of these guys here, they'll give us a decent fight?" I'm surrounded by idiots. Suddenly, Koe's phone started vibrating. Shocked and surprised a little, she pulled out her phone to see the name "Shigo Mina" on the top of her screen. She answered, a little pleased by the surprise, but not showing it. "Should I count this as the first favor you're asking me?" "Wow, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Voices, again? Kept you up late?" "Nah, not really. I got pissed off last night and the voices made it a little worse. Didn't finally go to bed until like two or three in the morning? I forget, honestly." "You can't keep doing that to yourself. Maybe you should see a doctor?" "Yeah, you should DEFINITELY see a doctor." "Can it, Kuchi! Besides, Shigo, doctors don't help with this. I might as well go at this alone. They don't even know why I got the voices so early in life to begin with." "Well, okay then. Also, maybe talking to your voices out loud isn't the best image you should be giving yourself in general." "I honestly don't give a rat's ass about what people think about me. I got voices in my head. Let the whole world know." "Yeah, sure thing. Anyway, I was just calling to check up on you and see how you were doing. You need anything from me?" "How 'bout a new life? Different brain? Couple million Zeni?" "Still a joker, aren't we, Koe?" "No, I'm a Schiz. Shouldn't you be working, right now?" "I'm guessing you're on duty, too, then?" "Yup." "A'ight, fine. I'll get back to you later, then." "Yeah, deuces."
Koe hung up the phone, putting it back in her butt pocket. The voices in her head weren't really giving her any leads about anyone strong, anyone suspicious, or anything really. No criminals for now. It was only a matter of time, though. She could only wait and see who would show up between now and the end of the day. As she walked in the shade of one of the buildings, Koe suddenly remembered her dream almost a month ago. She pondered to herself, her mood confused and mildly disturbed. Seriously, though. Who or what the hell is a "Kosho?" What the hell did that night even mean? What were they tryna tell me?

This was a bad idea. Zeferoth though as he made his way through the streets of Satan City. He had heard that the city was named after a famous martial artist credited with saving the world at one point. Still seemed like a strange name to Zeferoth though, but it wasn't like Zeferoth's own name was considered normal to other people. He had wondered into town meandering his way to West City, and taking in the sights and culture of Earth, and more importantly, its abundant wildlife.
Zeferoth stood out among the crowd towering over just about everyone at nearly seven feet tall. His muscles were the size of young trees giving him a very imposing and intimidating figure. His rich soil, brown eyes were cast down on the pavement keeping to himself as much as he could. He had been drawing a seemingly unnatural amount of attention to himself since coming to Earth, more so than he ever did during his short stay on Hegemon. Maybe he just didn't give his secondary home planet a long enough time for that to happen. His long sapphire blue hair fell over his sand colored jacket, which was the only thing draped across his massive shoulders. His long pants were the same color, and well worn traveling boots' color was very hard to determine at this point. The features that stood out the most about Zeferoth, other than his size, was the azure scales that ran along his neck, jaw, chest, arms and legs, and his long lizard tail of the same color.
Normal people would have thought that it would be foolish to mess with something like him, but there seemed to be fewer sane people left in the galaxy, at least from Zeferoth's point of view. A small group of humans ran past him, more so into him. Zeferoth managed to keep his footing just by planting his feet, but he did also feel something wrong about this. It wasn't a matter of them not seeing him, or unable to avoid him in their rush. No. This was intentional. He felt a and or two enter his pants pocket looking for his wallet. Two pairs of hands managed to grab onto his jacket and pull it off him, to be fair to them, it was never that securely on him.
They disappeared into an alley. Zeferoth sighed heavily. This shit is why he preferred to stay in the wilderness. Normally he wouldn't care if someone took his wallet or something. He could get another and just hunt for food, but it took a moment for him to notice that they took his jacket. His eyes narrowed dangerously. He had something important in that jacket. Something he promised to deliver, and will do so no matter what. He pursued the thieves with a brisk jog easily pushing past anyone in his way. He wouldn't allow them to get away that easily.
He was able to find them easily enough going through his pocket's and wallet. His anger skyrocketed when one of them managed to find the small envelope. The sheer rage radiating off him would have made the most hardened criminals flee in terror. He approached quickly not giving them time to figure out that they were found out. The one holding the envelope turned his head just in time to catch a back hand slap to the face. The force of the slap carried his head into the wall.
"Rai!" The other hoodlums cried out in shock. Zeferoth picked up the envelope, putting it in his pants pocket. Zeferoth remained silent letting his anger communicate for him. The other's managed to get themselves together and tossed Zeferoth's jacket away. The largest of them, who only stood to to Zeferoth's chest, grabbed a large iron pipe and swung it at Zeferoth with an overhead strike. It hit Zeferoth on his right shoulder. It didn't even phased Zeferoth who just grabbed the pipe and snapped it into four small pieces tossing them aside. The young man froze unable to comprehend what happened, before Zeferoth slammed his fist into his gut sending him a foot in the air. Zeferoth grabbed the man by the shirt and picked out his wallet before knocking him out with a head butt. Only one more had the courage, or stupidity, to challenge Zeferoth. He tried to move behind the large lizard man to kick at Zeferoth's muscular back. Zeferoth tail swept the boy's foot from under him, and came back to strike his body one, then agian to incapacitate him.
Zeferoth picked through the pockets of the three knocked out boys coming up with a few wallets, some stolen jewelry and various other things. Zeferoth pocketed them as his spoils of victory. The last two didn't dare question him, or object in any fashion. Zeferoth put on his jacket and turned to the last two poiting at them dramatically. "You two, grab your friends and flee from my sight. Try this again in my presence, and you won't get off so lightly." He said ominously. The two immediately grabbed their buddies and ran off. To do what Zeferoth didn't care.
Maybe he should have knocked them out to avoid them spreading lies about him. Zeferoth shrugged and made sure everything was in their popper place. It was too late now, and this would either mean someone worth something would challenge him, or it may dissuade other such people from messing with him. Seemed like a win win to him. Zeferoth decided to use some of his money to try some curry from an open stall he passed on the way there. He ordered the spiciest thing they had despite the owners warnings. Zeferoth always loved food that could fight back, what better than spicy curry?

[Thread PL: 212] [Suppressed to 5] Atsuko had wandered into the awkwardly named Satan City. She was left wondering why such a name had been chosen. According to some very excited people, it was named after some kind of legendary hero that saved Earth? Well, whatever the case was, that hero was apparently not around anymore -- it was like some kind of ancient legend that persisted to this very day and age." Wonder what that Hero was like?" , the Knight muses to herself as she makes her way through the streets. Comparatively, this city was more peaceful than another one she had been placing a lot of focus onto; West City. Of course, that didn't mean that there might not be problems lurking beneath a peaceful surface.
One thing that the Saiyan knew was that it paid to be vigilant; you never knew where criminals might make their homes. Even outside the cities weren't safe. Though her thoughts briefly wandered toward excitement of a potential fight, there was also a sense of duty; Earth was her home, and she'd make it a little bit safer with each rat she sends scurrying out of their hole.
Still, Zeferoth was far from the only one catching a lot of attention from the crowds; he may have been a walking muscle tower, but just an equally odd sight was a fully armored Knight straight out of a medieval fantasy. As for what Atsuko was doing right now? She was mainly just aimlessly wandering... Still getting used to the city and the sights within.
The only thing that had given her a goal was the two higher power levels that she was able to sense. One was Zeferoth, the huge man she spotted at the stall. But there was another as well. One that she hadn't quite spotted yet. But it seems as though this was going to be the general area for the 'meeting of powers'.
So, Atsuko decided to be patient, standing out of the way of the people passing by as she crosses her arms. Koe Zeferoth

"So, that's new." "What's new?" Koe stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes beaming straight upwards as if looking at some spirit hovering above her head. Whenever this happened, it usually meant they sensed something. Sure enough, Tatakai continued where Kuchi left off, confirming Koe's suspicion. "We just sensed another power signature. About as strong as yours, just a little stronger. You needa be careful around them." "Okay, where is it? What were they doing?" "Not sure, but they used force. The energy signatures don't feel human..." "Well, that's ominous enough. Point me in the right direction." "Stop talking to yourself." "If you're not telling me how to get to this guy, then don't talk at all."
Of course, just telling the voices to shut up wasn't going to work. However, they were leading her in the right direction of the power signature they sensed. If anyone was being forced to use this much power, it's for a reason. No one with this much power would just use it for no reason. Either they're trying to defend themselves, or they're trying to hurt someone, or somewhere in between. Koe sprinted as fast as she could to the power signature as the voices told her which way to go. When she finally reached the power signature, surprisingly enough, it was at some food stall. Reeling back from sheer confusion, the officer looked around, trying to pinpoint the signature with the voices. Fortunately for her, it didn't seem like she needed the voices to tell her who it was. Well, you certainly stick out like a sore thumb with a lizard attached to it.
Approaching the towering figure, there was nothing she knew about him. She didn't know why he used his power, who he unleashed it on (if it was a person), or exactly how long ago it happened. For all she knew, he could have killed someone and completely did away with the body with what was going on right now. Koe had to try her hardest to get as much information from him as possible. When she finally approached to the right of him, Koe cleared her throat and brandished her badge. Her tone was neutral and non-threatening (for the time being) as she spoke to him. "I'm sorry to inconvenience you, but a little birdie told me that some super powered individual used some crazy strength here not too long ago. I'm asking around to see if anyone here knew anything about it." "Hey, I'm that little birdie!" The officer's eye twitched as she tried to resist reacting to Kuchi. Koe thought of an indirect approach to trying to get information out of this guy. She figured if he was any decent of a man, he would admit that he was the power signature she sensed, and explain why. If he tried to deflect, Koe would suspect him of some sort of misdemeanor and question him even further. It wasn't full proof, but it would at the very least get her somewhere.
Getting a better look at the lizard man, Koe realized that he was exactly that: a lizard man. He had scales on his body, a lizard tail, he was really emphasizing how inhuman he looked. Yuutsu said they didn't seem human, but this guy could still be human... There was one thing that Koe knew could change an individual's appearance into that of an animal's. Some drug that used to be a huge fad. "You don't look too human. What, have you used that drug to change your appearance? What was it called? 'Animorphaline,' or something? Or is that all natural?" Curious was something Koe couldn't deny being. She hadn't seen someone use the drug before, but she had heard about it being a huge trend at some point in time in Earth's history. Maybe he could elaborate on the subject, if he really has used it to change his appearance.

Tears flooded down Zeferoth's cheeks. HIs body felt like it was burning from the inside out. He Sweat drenched his brow starting to mix with the tears, but he resisted the urge to wipe them. He had underestimated the spiciness of the dish. From the moment the curry touched his tongue it was like he was eating fresh coals from an industrial furnace. This pain traveled down his throat and everywhere the curry touched. It was torture. It was agony. He loved it.
He shoved more and more curry into his mouth to the dismay of the stand owner and the few other patrons eating their own curry. The dish Zeferoth was eating was a specialty for the stand, and a challenge for any that dared to try it. Double the portion of a normal bowl, and if anyone can eat the whole thing in under twenty minutes, the meal was comped. Many have taken the challenge, but only a handful were able to even get half way through the whole thing. None have finished it.
With one last spoonful, Zeferoth shoved the last bit into his mouth struggling to finish it. Several cheered him on, others watched in stunned silence, as he consumed the beastly curry dish. The second he could, he grabbed the water offered and chugged it down trying to sooth his burning innards with the cool water. He sighed slamming the glass down a huge grin on his red face. Despite the owner's insistence, Zeferoth pained for the meal telling him that it was going to be his main dish anyway, so might as well pay to keep the stall bringing more.
He was interrupted chugging his second glass of water when a woman approached him. He looked down at her not moving the glass from his lips, as he listen to her ask about someone using an incredible amount of power not long ago. Zeferoth set the glass down and thought about it for a moment. Could she be talking about when he had to deal with those thieves? Or was there something, or someone, stronger out there causing trouble. He usually didn't want to get involved with trouble, but if they are strong, might as well test his own might.
"I have had to deal with a group of thieves, but I would hardly call that a need for a super powerful individual." He stated flatly. He had no reason to lie. Then she made some remark about his appearance, and something called Animorphaline. His gaze turned into a dark scowl. "My appearance is as natural as yours." he said with a growl his tail slamming against the ground in irritation. He hated it when people pointed out his appearance like that. "And who are you, questioning me like this?"

Atsuko tracked the two powers now inside of that stall, and the Knight then entered the area soon after. Just about in time to see the muscle tower of a man slam his tail in frustration, enough to cause a rather noticeable "thump", and certainly enough to catch the attention of passer-bys. Even if they weren't very close to him when walking by, it was hard to ignore that kind of force happening out of nowhere.
It prompted one of the passing girls to flinch after it happened, and quickly walk on her way so as to not get involved in whatever might be happening. Atsuko wasn't quite so flighty, however. And presumably Koe wasn't either. To say she wasn't impressed with his attitude might be understating it. The guy seemed like he had no fuse to speak of, and the slightest thing would set him into a blind rage.
Not like he'd given any other impression. " You break something, or hurt someone, you're paying for it." , she chimed in, directing that towards Zeferoth.
Though her power couldn't be sensed as anything beyond an ordinary Human -- she looked anything but ordinary, being in a full suit of armor, a sword sheathed at her side, and her arms crossed as if she were some kind of bouncer ready to deal with any young punk that thinks he's hot shit. But hey, someone might still make the mistake of underestimating her.
Atsuko wasn't going to mind it if that happened. A fight was just a good way to keep up her training. Though she'd make a mental note to drag any potential opponents to a less populated area, outside the city. But that was getting a little ahead of things.
She wasn't preparing for a fight just yet. But she was watching how things unfolded between Zeferoth and Koe. Zeferoth Koe
