Vaneera
The Little Conqueror
Profile:
Character Name: Vaneera
Nicknames: Vani, Van, Red, The Little Conqueror
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Lesbian
Race: Brenchian
Age: 16
Birthdate: Age 1274
Personality:
Likes:
[*] Motet
But good luck getting her to admit that.
[*] Singing
Vaneera finds it to be a very comforting hobby. While she doesn't fancy herself any kind of girl that could go on to be an idol in musical career alone, she sings often enough to be talented at it. There are also some times where she incorporates it into her leadership...
[*] Swordsmanship
It started in her childhood from training, but it just stuck with her. She gets very into her element when she can concentrate on every crucial movement and moment in a duel. Mind you, it does not have to be an official duel; she's even used to a "street fight", but she makes it a point to be as graceful and elegant as possible. This carries over into her one-handed fighting style.
[*] Looking her best
Part of her image of being both a Hero and a Leader. She does her best to look charismatic and nothing short of the picture of an ideal leader. She also aims to be nothing short of a comforting sight for her people in need.
[*] Perfecting Strategies
Another thing gained from her childhood. Vaneera has a penchant for coming up with strategies on the fly, refining them down to the finest detail. Her goal is to be utterly unpredictable by the enemy until it's simply too late for them to turn the tide. This leads to her coming up with more than a few crazy ideas... Yet, no less effective.
Dislikes:
[*] Morrigan
With a burning passion. Good luck getting her to stop talking about it.
[*] Her plans failing
Not much gets under Vaneera's skin, but failing at something she considers important certainly does. And a setback in her plans aggravates her almost like nothing else can. However, it tends to make her more determined to set things back on course. Those who get a win over her tend to have to watch their back for the second salvo.
[*] Tyranny and abuse of power
Great, you've got power and influence. Doesn't mean you need to use it to exploit everyone around you. They're not just resources to be discarded at a whim. Even setting aside the ethics of the question; you're also a shit leader. She thinks she can do better.
[*] Motet being hurt
If you wanted to find the single thing that Vaneera hates the most, this is it: not one thing even comes close to pushing Vaneera beyond any and all limits, fighting harder than she ever has before. Doing this one thing is enough to set her on a war path which few enemies are ever truly prepared for.
[*] Leaving people behind
They might "just" be soldiers, and it might be an expected effect of war and conflict. But if there's a way for her to ensure that her people can survive, she strives towards it without question. Ever the perfectionist seeking to minimize risk and loss.
Strengths:
[*] Determination
There isn't much at all that can deter Vaneera from moving forward. Once she's set on her goal, she'll make it happen. Telling her it's impossible is simply wasting your breath. This also carries over into a calm focus, it's generally pretty hard to throw her off her game.
[*] Values friendship
While it can be a bit difficult to get Vaneera to trust you, once you're in her inner circle, you're pretty much in it forever unless you do something that is obviously a betrayal. Even if one of her plans goes wrong, she'd do everything in her power to get you back safely.
[*] Quick Thinker
Vaneera is used to having to come up with the answers on the fly. Her wit matches her reflexes and speed, while she can scarcely claim to have the answers to everything, every single time... She's certainly skilled at what she does.
[*] Empowering Voice
A trick that she picked up after spending time with Motet. Even she's not entirely sure how it works, but she understands that her voice holds power. It has the capability to inspire others or tear them down. It's made more potent when combined with Motet.
[*] Quick Learner
Vaneera has been pretty accepting of adapting to new ideas, and gaining more skills is always a way to increase efficiency. She applies herself to studying, and while she might not be as specialized as a dedicated scholar of a given subject, she will certainly be able to keep her own pace.
Weaknesses:
[*] Stubborn
Vaneera is a lot of things that can be argued as great, but she's also very set in her ways. It's part of her youth and upbringing. While she is not closed off to alternative opinions or views, it can be difficult to dissuade her from what she thinks is "right" or the "correct choice".
[*] Pride
Adding just a little bit of edge to her stubbornness is her pride. Vaneera has accomplished a lot for her young age, and she's on the fast track to accomplish even more. She thinks that she is the most qualified to lead; and considering her decorated history, that may well be true. It can still cause her to rub people the wrong way when she lets it slip out of control.
[*] Dependent
In an odd twist, for all of the bravado and self-confidence she does have, she's largely dependent on what others may think of her. This is generally reserved for her inner circle, but she also desires to be the type of person that her people can look up to. Most of all, she's dependent on Motet. She wouldn't know what to do if Motet had a bad opinion of her.
[*] Charisma Break
A rare occurrence if she's outside of a peaceful moment, but the image she's built up is shattered to reveal what she is; still a young girl trying to make sense of things. When her "guard" is up, it's easy for people to forget the fact that she's still so young. She doesn't really like that being revealed in such an embarrassing way, though.
Motet is excellent at causing Charisma Breaks.
[*] Doesn't know when to quit
Her Determination is a double-edged sword, and she doesn't really understand the concept of "take a break" when it concerns herself. Vaneera hasn't really figured out the right kind of balance that her position requires. Spending so much time concerning herself with others, with the resources, with keeping aware of what's going on -- she's practically always on the mood.
Always insists she's fine.
Motet knows better.
Vices: N/A
Vaneera is very accomplished at being a politician; not much of a penchant for lying however. She tends to make good on her promises. But she certainly has a way with words and projecting a certain kind of image. This is something she considers extremely valuable, because the last thing she can be perceived as is weak, in her mind. Everything about her mask is set up to give others the impression of strength and intimidation. And yet, that of a leader that is kind to her people, and caring for those in need.
A lot of this is because she believes that a more genuine self might cause people to easily rout, or not hold much faith in her. It was further cemented after a battle against rebels that resulted in Motet seeing her as a Hero. She decided to become just that, as it aligned with what she wanted, and she was proud to have given her friend such a sense of relief and security.
While she does put up a barrier that hides who she is underneath the surface, it's less lying and more exaggerating her traits; Vaneera does genuinely want to do good for others, and she is filled with an unbreakable resolve to make that happen. Managing to break through her layers and reveal the real person under it all is a sign that she's grown to trust you deeply.
Not much can break her down for long, while she might certainly get stressed or lost at times, she has a strong tendency to bounce back. Especially when she can look at those she's close to and see how she needs to carry on. But this is also a bad habit where she just doesn't give herself much rest...
Appearance:
Height: 5'2" (157cm)
Weight: 110lbs (49.8kg)
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Blue
Face Claim Name: Red
Face Claim Origin: Undertale Red (Fangame)
Vaneera stands at a humble height of 5'2" and a weight of 110lbs, her skin is a perfect, pristine white. This accentuates her dark red hair, which she is rather particular about for capturing "that right image". Her eyes are blue, and they always appear to be glowing, especially with her hood up. She also has a beauty mark on her left cheek, just below her eye.
In terms of her clothes, she wears a uniform that bears the symbols of her family. The truth is that it's little more than a fancier version of the armor that the Planet Trade Organization made so popular in terms of actual defensive quality. However, her trademark is her red cloak. It brings the whole ensemble together. It's given a literal bow on top; the bow that ties together to hold her cloak, resting comfortably on her chest.
She also has a sheath for her sword, which basically never leaves her side.
History:
Family: Father: Sugaru, Mother: Cocolotte
Home world: Planet Brench
Starting planet: Planet Brench
Home Town: Brenchian Citadel
~Prologue~
Our story begins with Sugaru, a young man with a decorated military career. His overall accomplishments are really a bit much to try and list off, suffice to say however he is a man that is respected among certain parties on Planet Brench. That is why he is being officially celebrated as a war hero. Then there is his sweetheart, Cocolotte. She waited patiently for him to be able to come home safe. It finally happened, although there was a big ceremony to hold first. The biggest players involved in their victory had to be given their due respect, as well as being a chance to mourn for the fallen.
The ceremony was held outside of the Senate, and was broadcasted accordingly. This was still during the time when there was a Council run by Salamanders. Age 1273, to be exact. It was different back then, a little more stable. People could actually refer to it as a home, despite the fact that it had a few problems. The Salamanders weren't bad leaders, and it being an actual Council meant that they also wanted some local representatives in-house. You can imagine the surprise that was handed off to Sugaru and Cocolotte shortly after the ceremony; being invited into seats like this didn't just happen.
It was supposed to be a gesture of good will to the Brenchians as a whole. Sugaru didn't exactly object; Cocolotte had been wanting him to settle down for awhile now. Maybe this was the perfect time. Playing politics was certainly safer than out there fighting wars. It was a fairly difficult deal to pass up. As a result, they accepted. It just meant being able to spend more time together.
It seemed like everything was going right in the world for a change. It doesn't exactly take a rocket scientist to tell that between the meetings, they spent a lot of time together. One thing leads to another, as it often does, and it leads to the birth of a healthy baby girl in Age 1274. Born with snow white skin, red hair, and blue eyes. They called her Vaneera.
~Chapter 1~
Vaneera was born into a stable household. Sugaru and Cocolotte were pretty well off, they weren't having to worry about the next fight against some upstart pirates or rebels. Sugaru himself was the one that had to attend the meetings, which left Cocolotte plenty of time to take care of their daughter. She understood the position her husband was in. Plus it's not like he didn't always come home and spend what time he could with them. If there was one thing you could give to the Salamanders, it's that they were very efficient about things. Didn't have a whole lot of squabbling to worry about and they made sound decisions, all things considered.
Vaneera was able to grow up in a Planet Brench that was pretty different from what it is today. However, her parents wanted the best for her. The best education, the best training, all of it. Fortunately, they were able to secure just that. Their daughter was given something that neither of them had much experience with; high society life. Put into the best academy that money and status could afford. That academy is where things started to get a little more interesting.
Vaneera excelled at her studies, of course. She was always encouraged by her parents, and she wanted to make them proud of her. But the more interesting thing is that the people she came to meet during her time at the academy. Four new friends; one of which became her best friend. That one was Motet. This was early on in their friendship, however. Even this was unrecognizable from what it became in the present.
The other three friends, however. They were Brenchians born with the same skin color as Vaneera. It was regarded as somewhat rare on their homeworld. For that reason alone, Blumina, Lemine, and Velvette all decided to stick together with Vaneera. Honestly it panned out pretty well, because there were more than a few exercises for squad-based operations. As for Motet? Well, she might not have had feelings as overwhelmingly strong as later on in life; but she stuck with Vaneera nonetheless.
Together, the five of them made for an extremely effective team. Vaneera able to trust what each of them were capable of and assign them accordingly... Even though Motet insisted on just following her around no matter what. Well, it worked out. Everyone had their role, and they performed it beautifully. The Academy took notice of how well this group worked together, especially with their leader.
Mixed with Vaneera's own status due to her family, along with her and her squad's performance, she was rising through the ranks rather fast, despite never actually going onto the battlefield personally. Of course, it wasn't all perfect... Her reputation began to spread pretty fast. When that happens, people take notice. People with influence. One such example was a young Prince that was to be arranged to marry Vaneera. Now, Sugaru and Cocolotte didn't exactly agree with the prospect.
But nobility can be pretty hard to ignore. Vaneera herself wasn't sure what to think about the whole ordeal either. Someone decided to take things into their own hands, though. Unbeknownst to an entire world, and just at seven years old. Motet assassinated a Prince. After that happened, all notions of marrying Vaneera were quickly stripped off the table. Of course, there was no evidence to suggest anything either way. It was done professionally.
It became the talk of the town for awhile, but after that, it just... Settled down. Things resumed as per normal. The rest of the Academy Life was pretty quiet. All up until Age 1289...
~Chapter 2~
This year was where things started to fall apart for Planet Brench. There were rumblings about something going wrong on Lemuria, and it eventually reached the ears of the Council. The Salamanders were simply too concerned with their own homeworld to continue keeping their presence up here. Despite all the discussions and Sugaru's best efforts to dissuade them, it was no use; they intended to leave and return to their home, hopefully to fix the problem, and at least to settle affairs. Slowly but surely the Salamander presence on Planet Brench began to dwindle. The Council remained, for a time.
It was a long, tumultuous affair that had far-reaching consequences, and it all came to a head when the majority of the Senate resigns and leaves. It was hard to blame them, if the roles were reversed, they might have done the same thing... But it still left a power vacuum that was difficult to fill on Planet Brench. What was once stable was now crumbling down. Most weren't even aware of just how bad it was. The foundation breaking was gradual. People that could keep the peace were needed more than ever. Most academies doubled their efforts as a result.
This was also the time where Vaneera was granted the rank of Captain, and issued her own Squad. Naturally consisting of Motet, Velvette, Lemine, and Blumina. True breakdown of peace didn't occur for awhile. Mostly just small skirmishes here and there. Their performance in training had thankfully transferred into the live field. Soon their reputation as "excellent students" began to shift to "excellent soldiers." The only problem was that Planet Brench needed a lot more squads like this if they could ever hope to keep things together.
It wasn't exactly a secret that a lot of people were dissatisfied with the Salamanders. And if they didn't mind when they were ruling, they certainly had a problem now that they had left. Tensions were running high. Soon they weren't just dealing with pirates or the occasional riot. They began to organize. Quick scuffles began to turn out into drawn out battles. What didn't help was all of the rumors that were now spreading like wildfire; the Knights of Yama were being attacked and silently eliminated. And apparently it was even happening to governing figures.
The Brenchians might have had mixed feelings about the Knights of Yama, but one thing was for sure; without them, maintaining peace on Planet Brench just became even harder without them. Now there was little in the way of outside support, especially as everyone began to lock down their borders and watch the outside. For places that were more stable, that was fine. But for here? All the trouble was still brewing on the inside.
There was no way to stop it from escalating as much as it did. It all came to a head in Age 1290...
~Chapter 3~
That was when the big one hit. Suddenly those rebels were a full military, holding massive support and resources. It seemed as though the Citadel would be taken by storm. But it's not like those still in power were going to let it all slip out of their hands so easily. It was one last fight to retain law and order. All signs seemed to point directly to the government losing the war. Vaneera began to push herself harder than ever before to prevent that from happening. Her friends supported her every step of the way, which she was thankful for. Because there was no way she could pull this off on her own.
The amount of operations and battles that took place were simply too numerous to name. It seemed like for whatever ground they managed to take back or keep, they lost it twice over elsewhere. Things had gone well past the breaking point and yet they were still hanging in there, somehow. That was when Vaneera came up with a plan that was nothing short of crazy. It involved the Squad breaking up and going to separate key locations of the battlefield. The original plan involved five. But when Vaneera was ready to call on Motet; she was nowhere to be found.
That worried her, but she kept her focus. Probably just having to take care of some other fight right now. More importantly if she wanted to have any hope of finding out what happened, she HAD to do this right now. The plan would still work with four. She proposed that they would all don the same color cloaks as Vaneera herself. The idea was to start the attack all at once, hitting all of their key areas and targets in a synchronized time frame. It was meant to throw the enemy into disarray, draw the attention off of their main forces, and turn the tide against the rebels.
After going through the whole plan, they didn't have the time to wait for Motet. They finished their preparations and they set out. Once everyone was in position, they leaped right into the fray. The surprising part about her crazy plan is that it worked. Communications on the enemy side began reporting that the same enemy was attacking them in four different places at once. At least up until their communications were taken down. Their own commanding officers attempted to keep morale up and the plans straight, but unfortunately, they were key targets as well.
The rebels began to rout, even with their superior numbers. Now they were disorganized and operating blind. Most of them began to surrender, realizing that even if they could win this battle, they'd have lost the war. Now it was just a matter of taking out their main base. Vaneera had chosen that one for herself, it was the most dangerous of them all by far. She wasn't about to send anyone else in there alone. Fighting her way through what resistance was left didn't take much effort for her either. It all seemed like it was too good to be true.
In some ways, it was. Vaneera felt her blood run cold when an explosion rocked the base that she was infiltrating. Wasting little time, she rushed straight for the source. That was when she found that most of the Rebels in the base had just been wiped out from that explosion. A few were injured and still well enough to fight, but she wasn't immediately concerned with them. What concerned her... Was the bomb itself. Or what was left of it.
Motet... Why was Motet here, and why was she right in the middle of the blast radius?! She didn't have much time to question it. Her friend was still crawling towards the enemy in a futile attempt to fight. If she didn't act now, they'd finish her off. Vaneera didn't know what the hell happened, but she moved with purpose that she never had before. She became a red blur as she rocketed towards those that still stood. She was still fresh, and she was up against enemies that, for all she knew, set an ambush for her and got Motet instead.
She wasn't going to let them get away. After breaking each of them down with the full extent of her power, she turns her attention back to Motet and rushes over to her. She gently began to lift her friend up slightly, questioning what had happened... Vaneera didn't like the answer. It was a "top secret mission" from Morrigan... She sent her own daughter in as a suicide bomber! She carefully cradles Motet in a princess carry, and begins to make her way out of the Rebel Base. It doesn't take her too long to meet up with everyone else. Even her own Squad Members showed up not longer after.
Not that any of them could be happy. Motet might have had her issues with Velvette, Lemine, and Blumina. But none of them wanted her to get hurt like this. While the three of them asked all sorts of questions about what happened, if she was alright, it just... Became noise to Vaneera. She was glaring right at the cause of it all. Morrigan Oratorio. Eventually it was all drowned out by a ringing noise, like she had been blinded by rage. But rather than stepping forward to attack Morrigan, she gently hands Motet to the rest of the squad, and steps towards Morrigan.
What followed next was a bold accusation that Morrigan had been acting with treasonous intent, and that she intended to bring her down with the full extent of the law. Motet was understandably lost about why this was happening. She questioned why.
"Do you trust me?", Vaneera said to her.
"... Yes, Vani! I do!", Motet replied.
Naturally... A serious accusation against a superior officer wasn't taken lightly. It didn't take long for it to genuinely be dragged into a court case. Eventually it was ruled upon that Morrigan was indeed guilty of heinous crimes, and she was to be exiled. A portion of her group followed, and there were many sympathetic soldiers that also went with her, despite the seemingly clear cut case.
Vaneera and her Squad have returned to duty; mainly keeping peace now that all the fighting had been settled. It had been a hell of a story, and it was only the beginning for Vaneera.
Race Bonuses:
Peerless Speed:
Brenchians are most renowned for their sheer speed, and it is often showcased in combat. Wounds that would slow down ordinary individuals only seem to drive them on to outmaneuver their enemies, and dance circles around them. For every 25% of their Total HP lost, they gain a 5% charge increase to all Dodges, up to a max of +15% Charge while under 75% HP!
Flash Strike:
The renowned speed of the Brenchians can also be reflected within their attacks. Perceiving their movements can be like trying to track little more than a blur, and as a result it is more difficult to dodge their attacks. With this Racial, Brenchians reduce the effectiveness of the enemy's dodge by 10%.
[Cannot fall below 5%] [Example: If it is a 50% PL Dodge, then it would become 40% PL Dodge]
Roleplay Example:
Everything actually seemed to be working. Vaneera could hardly believe it! She was still scared out of her mind for her friends, but she trusted them to pull through. None of them hesitated when she suggested this plan, so just like they trusted her, she'd have to return that kindness. She clears her mind, focusing on the hear and now. This was the Rebel Base, all she had to do now was fight her way in. She rounds a corner soon spots a guard; and he spotted her in turn. Unfortunately for him, Vaneera was faster. She grabs him by the face with a single hand, and slams his head against the wall with enough force to render him unconscious.
With that, she drops him and keeps moving. She couldn't afford to get held up. The others should be well on the way to pulling off their part of this mission. The Brenchian comes to a large set of double doors. She reaches into the gap and begins to pull them open. That.... Wasn't very easy, but she could do it. She was strong enough. With one more final push, she's able to slip in before the doors slam shut behind her once more. Unfortunately that made enough noise for a patrol to come check it out.
Acting quick on her feet, she moves out of sight by hiding behind a crate.
"The hell was all that noise?", one of them commented, glaring at the door.
"Eh, who knows. We are on a battlefield.", the other states dismissively.
"Shouldn't be anywhere close to here.", it seems like this exchange might go on for a bit...
"Didn't you hear before the comms went out? There's been like... Four sightings of the same commander at different parts of the battlefield. Our outposts lit up at the same time and then the signal cuts out."
One of them begins to fiddle with the Ki Cannon fitted around his hand. "Better get ready, then. They're probably coming here."
Well, Vaneera had waited long enough to get the info she wanted. She leaps over the crate and swoops over to them. They barely have enough time to process what just happened before she kicks one in the face and leaps off of him to deliver a very similar kick to the side of the other one's head. After landing gracefully, she grins lightly to herself.
"Alright, they're doing it. Now I just have to wrap up here.", Vaneera thought to herself.
But her rejoicing was cut short, as the entire building rumbles from a sudden explosion. Dust and some rubble falling in various parts. She struggles to keep her balance, and a myriad of thoughts run through her head as she tries to process things. After steadying herself...
"A bomb?", she said in a whisper.
Her blood started to run cold. What was that about? Was there a separate operation to bomb the base? That wouldn't make sense, though. This place would be leveled right now if that was the case. Has to be a smaller explosive... Went off in a centralized location? Either way that was sure to call every single patrol in the base to that point. Vaneera wasn't going to let them beat her there. She takes off running at her full speed.
She arrives just in time to see the wreckage of the room... It was definitely a massacre in here. A lot of rebels just got taken out at once. Some were lucky enough to survive, and they weren't too happy about it. But in the midst of all this chaos, Vaneera was able to pick out something else. A person crawling on the ground. She... Recognized them.
She'd know those clothes from anywhere. That was Motet! What the hell happened?! As that last question crosses her mind, she springs into action. She seemingly vanishes from one spot and appears between Motet and a rebel that was about to strike her. Her stance was low, but not for long. Soon she jumps up and delivers a powerful uppercut to his jaw -- and she genuinely jumped off the ground, carrying through with all of her strength and momentum. The poor bastard is sent spiraling through the air before crashing on the ground.
Shifting in the air, she pulls her sword and throws it into the chest of another enemy that was taking aim. The Brenchian then hones her senses, and feels energy building in another direction. With zero hesitation she thrusts her hand towards them, pointing her index finger at them as a small beam of energy pierces their body. Finally, Vaneera lands on the ground.
A swarm of soldiers come for her all at once. With a focused breath, she initiates a flurry of blows. A punch to the jaw, a backhand to the gut. An elbow across the face, a kick to the chest. She was plowing through every last one of them. And as she takes another breath, all of them drop to the ground at the same time. She briefly scans the room one more time, and after confirming there's no more threats, she immediately turns to Motet and runs to her.
She was desperate to check that she was okay. Halfway there she drops low into a slide, coming to a stop next to Motet and shifting to get on her knees and gently lift Motet up to face her.
"Hey! Motet! Are you alright?! What happened?!"
Vaneera spoke frantically, hoping that she was alright. Fortunately, Motet was conscious. But she was out of it... Pretty badly injured, too. But she was confident that Motet could pull through this. But Vaneera's mind still raced, she wanted answers.
Motet softly smiles up at her friend.
"Vani... That was... Amazing!", the wounded girl states.
Vaneera couldn't help but let out a pained laugh as tears welled up in her eyes.
"You know me, Motet. I always bring my best... Now... What happened?", she asked gently.
"I got... A top secret mission! Hehe... I was told not to tell... Anyone. Just go to the Rebel Base... Set a bomb... Kill anyone that gets in the way.", Motet then explains. That smile remained on her face.
Emotions began to well up inside Vaneera. This wasn't an ambush meant for her that was then mistakenly set off for Motet. No, this was deliberate -- not by the enemy, either. This was a damn suicide mission!
"Who gave you the mission?", Vaneera's voice was shaky now.
"Mother did! She'll be proud... I did a good job!" Motet replied.
Vaneera didn't know what to think. For now, she knew what she needed to do. She gently begins to cradle Motet in a princess carry, lifting her off the ground. "We're going home now."
Just like that, she began to make her departure from the base. She had so much to think about while she was making her way off the frontlines. The battle was essentially won at this point, the rebels were being secured after they surrendered, or simply couldn't fight anymore. Their side had won, and it might take a bit, but genuine order would be coming back to the Citadel.
Vaneera just wished that any of that was a comfort. The entire walk felt like a blur to her. The two made it back to camp without issue. The rest of her squad was waiting.
"Hey! The Hero's here! Let's get the celebratio-", Lemine started, but halted dead in her tracks when she realized that Motet was in Vaneera's arms, grievously injured.
Velvette and Blumina soon caught onto the fact that something was wrong, and as they turned their gazes toward Vaneera and Motet, it didn't take long for their faces to be filled with shock.
"What... What happened?!", Blumina asked. All three of them rushed over, asking questions left and right and trying to make sense of it all.
Motet laughed weakly. Vaneera just... Blanked out. The noises breaking down into a ringing sensation. It wasn't because she didn't care. She calmly holds Motet out towards the other three. Velvette gently takes Motet. It doesn't take long for confusion to spread among all four of them.
Vaneera began to walk, almost as if possessed. Soldiers and officers began to back out of her way once they spotted her, and the expression on her face. She looked pissed beyond all belief, glaring daggers at something. She soon comes to a halt, and raises her hand, pointing at the woman behind all of this.
"MORRIGAN ORATORIO! I hereby charge you with treason! I will see you stripped of your titles and banished!"
The entire camp came to a halt. It was filled with an almost deathly silence.
"My... That's bold of you. Captain Vaneera.", Morrigan replied.
"I know the situation I'm in. But I also have enough evidence to put you down for good."
Motet began to struggle with Velvette. Lemine and Blumina step in to help Motet steady herself as she gets onto her feet. It's pretty clear what she wants, so they help her over.
"Vani... Why?", she questioned.
Vaneera then turns to Motet. "Do you trust me?"
Motet's face was frozen with conflict for a moment. But... After everything... "... Yes, Vani! I do!"
