Three rounds down, three to go. The elfen inventor who had taken on this gauntlet of dance found herself in luck. After three matches down and counted for, the MC himself called for a temporary break; in his own words to "Build hype! YEAH!" The crowd had dispersed away from the dance floor, all going back to their tables to mingle and relax as the lights dimmed to a cool mood. The young mechanic herself opted to take a seat back at the bar in order to scope out the people she would be facing off against for the final three matches. Once again the levelheaded bartender approached, leaning over the bar to look off in the direction Ayami was looking.
"Looking for your challengers huh? They're over in that booth. Although...You probably already saw them by now. It's not exactly a secret. Not many people who take on Boss' gauntlet ever get to them, mainly 'cause Mr. Yumeida gets the crowd locked down. To be honest I was betting against you...Big mistake."
The elfen girl looked back at him in surprise, curious about what he meant she asked for elaboration to clear things up and hopefully learn a little more in regards to the coming challenges...
"Really? Nobody has EVER beaten him?"
The bartender shakes his head calmly, responding cooly.
"Well, not many. But there are a few...Namely our trio at the top. It was only a year ago the gauntlet was just the first three you faced off against. So few people can ever make it past the last guy that Boss just assumed there was no point in adding to the roster."
Ayami blinked, amazed. So it wasn't that long ago the gauntlet was drastically different. She was facing off against a brand new dance-off...But it still remained to be asked:
"What made him add those three into the ranks? What makes them stand out?"
The bartender laughed before responding.
"You mean besides the fact that they beat Mr. Yumeida?"
He watched as the elfen gave a nod to his rhetorical question. He sighed bluntly before giving her the info she was clearly digging for.
"Well it's a long story but I'll try to keep it brief. Challenger 4's a YOUNG whelp. Honestly when she showed up seriously wanting to take on the gauntlet we all laughed her off. People double - Even TRIPLE her age couldn't manage. Even I underestimated her. But Miraculous...I guess he saw potential in her. Decided to give her the chance even when the rest of us told him it probably wasn't a good idea. She entered the gauntlet and won at just age 13. Can you believe that? She's a year older now and she's only gotten better since then."
So the next challenger was only fourteen years old...That was incredible. This girl must have been a prodigy. One of those misunderstood "Child geniuses" only with dance and music rather than math and science. That she managed to beat Yumeida was an insane concept considering the young elfen herself had only just barely managed to win the crowd over enough to pull it off. The more info Ayami had, the better her chances of winning would be. So continued the questions with that goal in mind.
"How did she do it? Nobody else beat Yumeida, and I only just BARELY did...What's so different about what she pulled off compared to the rest of us?"
The bartender flashed a smug grin, shaking his head as he responded.
"You didn't see it yet I'm guessing. She carries this guitar around with her everywhere. Says it was her dad's before he up and disappeared one day. She can play it AND dance circles around her opponents at the same time. I don't need to tell you that Jimmy got his ass handed to him, pardon my french."
A patron stepped up to the bar, ordering a drink. The bartender stepped away for only a moment to serve his customer before he returned to the elfen's side, continuing his story.
"Miss idol over there wasn't much tougher. Honestly she's got the makings of a superstar but she just likes staying in the lower levels of talent I guess. I don't have any room to judge, I've been working here for years when I could have gotten a job serving at one of those fancy restaurants."
The bartender began cleaning a glass, still speaking to the inventor in regards to that story he had witnessed with his own eyes.
"As for Mr. Yumeida...Believe it or not he just lost all his intimidation power. The kid made the crowd laugh and dance along. I'd never seen anything like it."
So Ayami now knew who she was up against in round four...The challenge she was going to face would be difficult, but the elfen knew how this girl operated. With that advantage she could strategize how to pull ahead. But there was something odd about the remaining challengers sitting at the booth in the back of the club...There were only two. There were six rounds right? So where was the last of the three? The inventor turned back and tapped on the bar to get the gentleman's attention.
"So I know about number four...But where's the third in this trio? I only see two people!"
The bartender stopped cleaning for a moment, raising a hand over his eyes to shield them from the moody purple lights of the club that shined down. He was surprised to see it himself and finally just gave a shrug.
"Well that's odd...Challenger five's gone. Well, she never misses a gauntlet, I'm sure she'll be back once her turn is up. She's pretty incredible herself y'know. She's the self-proclaimed pupil of Miraculous. She used to just be a street performer drawing very little attention EVER...But one day Boss found her and wanted to show her what it meant to shoot for the stars. She's been learning under him ever since. Watch out, she's got a fierce trick. I've only ever seen it a couple of times but I can tell you that it was enough to stop number four in her tracks. This lady doesn't play around."
So the second challenger coming up was someone who learned directly under Miraculous J...Not to mention this woman had a secret "trick" she used to defeat others. Ayami gulped at the idea, without more info all she could do was keep in mind to strategize against any possible tricks this opponent could use to her advantage...But, then that just left one more. Challenger number six. He loomed in the back like an intimidating statue, he was fully aware of the elfen inventor, gazing right back at her. She turned to the bartender and whispered to him.
"So...What about that guy then?"
The gentleman shook his head, shooting a glare at the sixth dancer. His tone of voice implied he held nothing but contempt for this guy...
"Oh boy, that's "Prince Charming" he calls himself. Pft, more like "Prince Alarming". Guy's an S-tier sleazebag if you ask me."
Ayami raised an eyebrow at this description. The bartender had made it clear in no uncertain terms that he hated "Prince Charming". But...Why? She wanted to know more, knowledge was power!
"If he's so bad then why haven't any of you kicked him out yet?"
The bartender gives a defeated sigh in response to that, oh if only things were that simple. But with his boss NOTHING was ever straight forward.
"He's too strong. He's the star pupil of the Turtle School and he claims that he's going to become the "Chosen one"...Whatever that means. Even now only Miraculous has ever beaten him in a dance off. ONE PERSON. EVER. He's talented and I think that only makes me hate him more. But him being talented is exactly why he's still here. Boss is always looking for the brightest stars. ... Even if those stars might be covered in dirt. Even if you make it past the other two I dunno if you can win...He just doesn't know when to give up, that's his secret. He's like a cockroach. ... If you can actually pull it off I've only got one request blue."
The inventor looked back to him with a grin, wondering what it was he wanted.
"What's that?"
He returned the smile, voicing his one request to be fulfilled on the chance that the elfen actually managed to reach round six of this gauntlet that was deemed impossible...
"Make him look like a fool."
The lights brightened once more as Miraculous J stepped out onto the dance floor. It seemed like the momentary break was coming to a close - The next set of rounds were about to begin. Ayami gave the bartender a salute as she hopped off of her barstool, heading out onto the floor to prepare for the final stretch of the gauntlet. She knew what she had to do, finish this whole thing and come out on top. She had some basic but usable info on the final three challengers. With this she knew she could stand a chance, however slim. The MC himself began hyping the crowd up just as he had before.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYY ALL YOU DANCE FANS! ARE YOU READY FOR ROUND FOUR?! LEMME HEAR YOU SAY IT!"
The crowd quickly gathered around the dance floor, roaring with excitement as they responded to his requests with a resounding "YEAH!" The excitement and tension had never been such close bedfellows before. The air itself felt electrified as the cheering of the audience made the elfen's body shake from the sheer vibrations of the noise being sounded out. Miraculous continued to speak, hyping them up even further.
"Well allllright! Let's see a little bit of magic TONIGHT! We've got a very special challenger this time folks! YEEHEEE! This girl's managed to dance and style her way past the first three rounds! But will it be enough?! We've got the Beansprout native herself, AYAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
Ayami had won her way into the hearts of the crowd as they gave full unrelenting support to the mechanic through cheering and clapping. She didn't know if it would be enough by itself to secure a win against the final three challengers, but she couldn't rest on her newfound fame just yet. Not until she stood on top of it all. Her inner thoughts were interrupted as the MC began to speak yet again, this time announcing her next challenger.
"But hold onto your seats true fans! We've got a rare challenger on the scene this time! THAT'S RIGHT IT'S NUMBER FOUR, THE GUITAR WIELDING PRODIGY HERSELF, CHERRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!"
[Star Power: 500]
The crowd went absolutely wild as Cherry stepped out onto the dance floor lugging her big guitar that was strapped to her back the whole way. For some of the audience it was an entirely new experience, this girl never got to show up to the gauntlet challenge, it was just the sad fact of things that with Yumeida being an impassable barrier Ayami had been the first person since Cherry herself to get through round three. The child prodigy gave Ayami a nod before removing her guitar from it's case, whipping the beautifully colored acoustic guitar around to her front and gripping it in both hands. The mechanic scratched her head in confusion...
"Wait, how are you gonna dance with no free hands?"
Cherry eyed the elfen silently, tuning the guitar and checking it occasionally by pulling a string or two.
"You'll see."
The young mechanic hadn't thought of it at the time when Cherry was first talked about, but the logistics of dancing properly while also holding something with both hands was difficult to say the least. If Cherry could pull out a win against round three with this handicap then there was no telling how good she really was. The elfen quickly began to plan out a strategy...And Miraculous J began speaking once more.
"ARE YOU READY LADIES AND GENTLEMEEEENNN?! LET ME HEAR YOU SAY IT!!!"
"DANCE!" "FOR!" "YOUR LIIIIIFEE!!!!"
The instant the match started Cherry began to play away at her guitar with such fierce passion that the crowd was immediately drawn in. Ayami just allowed the girl to win the crowd over for now...Cherry hopped around on one foot, twirling occasionally as her fingers ran across the strings with such speed you would swear the guitar was heating up from friction. The audience began to clap in unison with the guitar's melody. One would think the elfen was on the losing end of this...But she smirked as it was finally time to put her plan into action!!!
"See how you keep up with this!"
Ayami suddenly did a backflip, landing on top of Cherry's guitar with one foot! The girl's eyes opened wide in shock as she began trying to get the inventor off!
"H...Hey! Don't do that!"
Ayami began to clap as she did a flaminco dance on top of the guitar. The crowd went silent for a moment...But as the two opponents kept battling despite it all the audience soon resumed clapping - This time in unison with the elfen's own claps, rather than the guitar's melody. Cherry continued playing despite the awkward nature of this...Ayami had played perfectly against the prodigy's weaknesses. - She could do very little against opponents when her hands were always full. The young girl began to spin wildly in an effort to try throwing the mechanic off of her guitar. But every time the spin threatened to force her balance to fail Ayami simply...Hopped in increasingly stylish ways, resuming her flaminco dance every single time she landed back. The crowd roared louder and louder every time! As the song began drawing to a close the elfen inventor leapt off of the guitar and landed on her knees sliding to a stop just as the music ended. The crowd clapped and cheered so loudly it threatened to bring the ceiling down on the competitors...Cherry was simply too baffled to say anything at all as she stared wide-eyed. She had never expected anyone to be able to work against her methods. Usually it was her opponent that was too shocked to respond.
"I think you know what time it is folks!!! These two did amazing don't you think?! MAGIC!!!"
He once again raised their hands one at a time to judge the crowd's reaction. The crowd boomed for Cherry...But for Ayami there were whistles and a standing ovation. It had been a close match and with Cherry only ever losing to challenger five and six the audience was hard pressed to go against her...But the elfen had simply won their hearts through her stylish trickery.
"WELL WELL WELLLLLL!!! IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE A WINNER....GIVE IT UP FOR TRUE BLUE AYAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
The young inventor sighed a breath of relief... She had managed to win against Cherry's superior showmanship. But there were still two more remaining, and she knew she couldn't relax yet. Not until it was all over. Miraculous J wasted no time preparing the next round as Cherry walked away, still just...Completely dumbfounded by what happened.
"THAT WAS HISTORIIICCC!!! OH YES YESSS! But are you READYYYYY for ROUND FIIIIVEEE?! Our challenger only has two more opponents to go through to claim victory against the gauntlet! WHAT DO YOU SAYYYY LADIES AND GENTLEMEN?! READY FOR MOOOOOORE?!"
The crowd only roared louder and louder, wanting to see this underdog rise to the top and defeat those who had once been unbeatable. What came next however was a shock to the elfen's whole system...She gazed over at where the next opponent would come in and saw her...The woman from outside on the street!!! The one who had pointed Ayami to this place to begin with. The one who beat that thug down without any effort whatsoever...She was round five's champion?! The woman stood there, giving the elfen inventor a wink as she hid away from the spotlight. Miraculous J looked back to confirm that she was in fact ready before giving a nod and turning back to look at the crowd.
"HEE HEE! WE'VE GOT YET ANOTHER RAREEEE TREAT FOR YOU! IT'S TRUE BLUE AYAMI VERSUS THE ONLY, THE ONLY, THE QUEEN OF THE DISCO..."
He spun in place, stopping and pointing towards the woman as he introduced her.
"KASIMA!!!"
The crowd was fired up beyond belief. This was the star of the show, the one they all came here hoping to see, and their excitement that was unmatched by even a stadium full of people made that much undeniably clear.
[Star Power: 1,000]
Kasima gave a friendly wave to Ayami as she stepped out onto the dance floor. There was no ill feelings between either, Kasima had not come to destroy something that was invading her territory, and Ayami did not feel threatened by this woman. Although to say the odds were stacked against the elfen would be an understatement...This girl had learned under Miraculous J himself for years. She knew all of his moves and could match him - Perhaps even outpace him in a contest of style and grace. The young inventor was no pushover, but she certainly wasn't on that level yet, far from it. If she wanted to win here she would have to draw the crowd's attention on her and her alone.
"YOU KNOW WHAT TO SAYYYYY!!!"
"DANCE!" "FOR!!" "YOUR LIFE!!!"
The stylish disco tune began to play as the competitors both performed "warm up" dances. And without warning they were off! Both were using break dancing style moves! But the difference between them was immediately clear - Kasima's movements were sharper, more controlled. So it was time to go for it, all or nothing!!! Ayami began to fit martial arts techniques into her break dancing moves, creating a strange hybrid of street performance with graceful artistry. The elfen did a high kick and then jumped backwards into a backflip, landing on one hand and immediately going into a spin on the floor. The crowd who had been so strongly focused on Kasima was slowly starting to take notice of the inventor who was pulling out all the stops she had in order to win! But she still needed more. There was some extra flair missing with this that would win their hearts...And she had to think of it quickly before she fell too far behind...The chances of her winning were slipping away with every passing moment!
That was when she went deep into her mind to think...She remembered her inventions in that moment, and how she used them so skillfully everywhere else...But she didn't have any with her did she? She checked her side pouch as the crowd reacted to her movements in confusion. Was she...Checking her things while she danced? In the middle of a competition?! Some audience members grew annoyed by this, causing the elfen's pace to slow even further...But just then she grabbed onto something!!! AHA!!! That was it! That was just what she needed!!!
"Time for me to turn the tide around! CHECK IT!!!"
The elfen inventor pulled a capsule from her pouch and threw it into the air above her. It exploded violently, raining pink glitter down over Ayami! The audience gasped in shock, immediately watching what she was going to do...Even Kasima slowed down to watch! The elfen did exactly what she did best - She controlled her power over water! A stream of liquid circled her, grabbing every single piece of glitter and swirling it around inside! Ayami now began to dance with a glittering shimmering ribbon made of water! She spun causing it to cyclone around her, and then she leapt, causing it to flow all underneath her and over again! She landed on one foot and began to direct it around. She sent the stream flowing all around the audience, harmlessly hovering around them as all the while she danced on. The crowd was amazed!!! They all began to cheer for the elfen once more, this time slowly drowning out Kasima's own cheers...Ayami was catching up! She only needed one more display to win their hearts!!! As the music began drawing to a close she did one last thing...She sent the stream of water flowing wildly around the disco ball above, distorting the lighting and then with time still remaining she dispersed the water, causing an explosion of glitter high above that fell over the entire disco floor!!! The elfen inventor gave one last dramatic pose as the music stopped...It was deafeningly silent for a moment as everyone watched the glitter fall on the challenger...And then the audience roared in applause, they had been absolutely blown away by what she pulled off! Even Kasima began to clap, bowing respectfully to the young mechanic. An action which Ayami returned gladly.
"THAT WAS MAGICAL! TRULY MAGICAL!!! I think we know who our winner is!!! TRUE BLUE AYAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
Kasima smiled, impressed that she had finally been bested...
"You did wonderfully. I'm going to be watching the rest of your gauntlet! Good luck!!!"
The woman stepped off the stage gracefully, she held no harsh feelings at being defeated...If anything, it made her glad. It had been so long since she was able to feel the sensation of losing with style. To take a bow because you weren't the winner...To most this might have seemed odd, but to Kasima who had not tasted the lessons of failure in such a long time, it was a gift to see someone else come out on top. She only hoped now that Ayami would be able to finish the gauntlet with an absolute victory.
But the feeling of a grand victory was short lived. After all Ayami still had one final round to go. But the MC was only just getting started on playing hype man for the audience!
"I don't believe it!!! YEOW!!! Our challenger has made it to round six!!! THAT'S WORTH SOME APPLAUSE RIGHT?!"
The crowd cheered, though quickly died down as they listened to him continue speaking.
"It's a thing that rarely ever happens, so you had better watch and learn if you wanna challenge the gauntlet yourselves! Our True Blue superstar is going up against the greatest opponent on the dance floor! YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT! THE TURTLE HERMIT'S CHOSEN ONE! PRINCE CHARMIIIIIIING!!!"
[Star Power: 700]
The man stepped out onto the stage as the audience cheered! Well...That is to say, the female audience members cheered. They were completely enamored by this guy! But everyone else? They weren't sold on him at all. He smiled at Ayami as he came to a stop in the middle of the floor.
"What's this? A fair maiden has come to challenge me? Then let us serenade one another with our graceful dance!"
... His attempts at flirting made the elfen's stomach turn. Gross. His aura and everything about him seemed kind and gentle, but...There was something totally off about him too. Ayami made a mental note to watch her back against this creep.
"ARE YOU READYYYYY LADIES AND GENTLEMEN?! HERE IT COMES, THE FINAL ROUND!!! YEEEE! SO GIVE IT UP AND SAY THE WORDS YOU KNOW AND LOVE!!!"
"DANCE!" "FOR!!" "YOUR LIFE!!!"
The music was...Disgustingly upbeat. Rather than put in any effort Prince Charming simply twirled around the floor like he was at a ball, winking to the women in the crowd as he passed by them. Luckily for the inventor, he had only won the admiration of a few people! She performed dances far more graceful and attention-drawing than his, immediately winning over the crowd. This battle really was over before it had even started. It seems like "Prince Charming" completely underestimated his opponent. Just 'cause she was a girl! The nerve!!! she pulled out everything she had, absolutely blowing away his own efforts as hard as she could. She didn't HAVE to try this hard, but she wanted to just to make it worse for him. After all, the bartender requested that she make him look like a fool. She couldn't disappoint the gentlemen now could she?
The music drew to a close as the audience had almost totally been won over by Ayami save for a few members who practically had hearts in their eyes. With one last stylish move the elfen inventor ensured this guy was getting completely blown out with no way of winning! Miraculous J stepped out onto the stage as round six ended...He raised the microphone to his mouth, ready to announce the very clear winner!
"WELL WELL!!! I'M PROUD TO SAY WE HAVE A WINNE-"
"NO!!!"
A voice boomed out in pure rage, interrupting the MC before he could call this round's winner. Who did that voice belong to? None other than "Prince Charming" himself. It seems he didn't agree with the clear result at all. He was furious at the idea of losing to a girl!!!
"ME? THE CHOSEN ONE? LOSE TO A COLDHEARTED WENCH?! IMPOSSIBLE!!! WE'RE NOT DONE YET! You're gonna pay for humiliating me you bitch...Keep dancing!!!"
Ayami scratched the side of her head, tilting it in confusion...
"Are you upset?"
He frothed at the mouth, glaring daggers at her!
"I'm absolutely livid!!!"
[Star Power: 1,000]
And so the match resumed! This time far different music had been chosen...Something much more serious.
Now Prince Charming was actually putting in effort! His power had skyrocketed, with a quick ki sense Ayami confirmed as much! But for as daunting as his skill increase had become the elfen inventor was still able to keep pace with him, his new chosen style of dance being a fearsome tap dancing. He moved with such speed that even if one normally wouldn't have called a tap dance "Intimidating" it was this one case where it could be called that without question. The women in the audience who had moments before been enamored by him looked...Shocked. Perhaps even distraught. They didn't let out a single sound as they gnashed their teeth and looked on in horror! But this also meant that Prince Charming had lost his one "advantage"...Now not a single member of the crowd rooted for him. Ayami quickly managed to pull out into the lead despite it all.
As the music drew near to a close he became more and more intense in his movements, trying to scare her into defeat. Unluckily for him, the young mechanic had seen far worse than an overblown brute like him. She continued on, only performing better than their previous face-off! With the music ending far sooner than he would have liked, the winner was yet again obvious as the crowd roared for Ayami's stylish display! Miraculous J glared at Prince Charming for a moment before raising his mic.
"... Well if there are no more interruptions then I think we're ready to put a stop to this whole thing! That's not cool at all man! YEOWCH!!! Our winner is somebody ya love to cheer for!!! IT'S-"
A growl of pure rage sounded out as Prince Charming took the microphone right out of J's hand!
"SHUT IT!!! It's not over until I win you bastards...I'm not stopping until you all cheer for me, your hero! Earth's savior!!!"
[Star Power: 5,000]
His face contorted into a devilish, twisted smile...It was a disgusting display where he refused to accept that he had finally been dethroned. His ego ran wild, driving him with an almost bloodlust-like rage. He stared down at the Elfen with a demented grin, cocky and full of hatred.
"How dare you...You made all those hot chicks scared of me!!! I'm gonna dance all over your face now you stupid runt."
A new tune began to play as rematch number three started with a roar! He wasn't just dancing anymore...He was flaring his power up as high as possible!!! As he danced a tap-dance break dance hybrid he left after-images behind in his wake. He wasn't going to lose a third time!!! Ayami could barely keep up. The crowd can't comprehend this dance! Another use of ki sense reveals that even his very power level had spiked higher too! Even without the crowd on his side it was clear from a visual standpoint that Ayami was falling behind...She felt like she was going to lose. She couldn't keep up with his movements at all, she could barely even track him, never mind out dancing him. She closed her eyes, feeling victory slip out from between her fingers...
... But then the image of the endless ocean appeared in her mind, it was an image she had seen several times before. An unmistakable picture formed in her mind: Deep Focus...! She had almost forgotten all about it! She filled her lungs with air, focusing her mind on the image she saw...She could sense every single movement he made, and she was able to keep track of him now. With a sharp exhale she moved forward, dancing at a speed that matched his own!!!
[Ayami's Star Power: 6,000]
He gritted his teeth and pushed himself harder as he witnessed her surpassing him even now. Even with his full power brought out...! He was only becoming angrier. How dare she catch up to him! He was undefeated! Nobody would beat the Turtle School's greatest pupil! But despite his mental protests Ayami soon jumped ahead, her graceful movements were like water as she flowed across the dance floor without missing a beat. The audience had been encouraged by this, soon slow cheers here and there became a steady noise, and then...? The entire crowd was won over. No matter how hard "Prince Charming" tried to catch back up the crowd could no longer be intimidated back into silence. And as the song came to a close he was left fuming.
"NO!!! NO NO NO!!! HOW DARE YOU!!! You little slut...If you beg for forgiveness and agree to join my harem I'll let you go home a loser. Hah!!!"
The silence in the room was palpable. Rather than feel scared or insulted, Ayami rubbed the back of her neck, smiling.
"Sorry...I don't really swing that way. But we can be friends if you want!"
Suddenly Prince Charming's eyes went pure white as an expression of deep pain rolled over his face.
"GHRK-"
All of the fight left his body in an instant. He had been destroyed not be a stronger martial artist, or a better dancer, but the friend zone. The microphone he had stolen from Miraculous J fell free from his hand as his body froze up in shock. The crowd gasped... ... And then he fell over onto the floor with a comical thud, he fainted standing up! The audience erupted into deafening cheers towards the clear winner! Even Miraculous J himself was clapping for her.
"ALLLLRIGHT! I THINK WE HAVE A WINNER!!! YOU KNOW HER, YOU LOVE HER!!! TRUE BLUEEEEE ...AYAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
Confetti fell from the ceiling as the people cheered. Ayami had done something almost impossible. She had defeated all six opponents and climbed to the very top of the gauntlet! She had finally done it! She grinned brightly, watching the crowd's ceaseless cheering as she felt the excitement of victory pour over her. Yes, in all the excitement she might have not realized... ... The gauntlet wasn't over.
"CHALLENGER! ARE YOU READY FOR THE MAGICAL FINALE?! HEEEE! YOU'RE GONNA BE FACING OFF AGAINST YOURS TRULY!!!"
... So the truth had been revealed. There were seven challengers in this gauntlet, not six. And at the very top was the king of dance, Miraculous J. Time seemed to slow down around her as Ayami realized the ultimate challenge that laid ahead of her. Without any warning at all, she had reached a rematch with the man who defeated her back in the arcade not so long ago. There was one final mountain to climb on her path to mastering the way of the dance.
Would she be able to surmount it?
[TO BE CONCLUDED]
OOC Notes: Ayami used ki sensing twice in this solo.
